The inner keep of the Citadel of Caldur. Outside, the battle between the Gondorian host and the army of Umbar rages. Here, cut off from the Gondorian army by the gates of the Keep which are locked by the Umbarians as soon as he enters, Elphir fights alone against his old foe, Adrazor. Adrazor's foster-father and uncle, Garad, a long-time arch-enemy of Prince Imrahil, holds the doors to the inner keep closed against the Gondorians outside with 50 of his hand-picked warriors.
