Dol Amroth: Marble Gate

You stand on a narrow bottleneck of land no more than two thousand paces wide, shooting westwards to connect to the rocky promontory on which the Castle of the Prince and the city of Dol Amroth stands. To the north and south are the waters of the sea--even from hear you can smell their salt tang and hear the cries of sea-birds.

To your west, a massive wall of flagstone stretches its way across the entire bottleneck of land, effectively sealing in the city from any attack on foot. The only way in is through the huge marble archway that lies directly west along the tree-lined path on which you stand, the famed Marble Gate of Dol Amroth. A company of guardsmen stand at attention on either side of the huge archway standing next to two large statues guarding the gate. The men-at-arms are dwarfed by the gate\'s bulk and they wear the blue and white of the Prince\'s servants. Sunlight glints off of their mail, their spears, and from the domes of the high conical helms graced with seabird wings that adorn their heads. Traffic is fairly heavy--wagons of farm goods passing in from the lands of Dor-en-Ernil, peasants and traders on foot, and a goodly number of mounted Lords in battle array or finery--the Knights of Dol Amroth about their business.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

The rose red fingers of the morning slide across the brazen sky. Gathered at the foot of Dol Amroth is the riders of the Hunt.

Among their number is Indilzar sitting atop Morang his steed.

[Beldor(#28491)] Slightly behind the Black Knight is Beldor atop a small horse. He looks around at all the men, a shine of excitment glints in his eye.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Also there, resting at the head of the party upon the steed that has seen him clear to the borders of Mordor and back, the Son of Imrahil rest, waiting for those who will come to gather in this place so that they might ride forth.

And there, upon Erchirion\'s hip, rest the blade of Anarion, the reforged sword Anaril.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

Indilzar looks back upon the page and he says unto him, \"Are you resolved yet to go young Beldor?\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] At the behest of Captain Angiest, and Lord Commander Rorgan, Herunumendil is at the Marble Gates. As ordered. He awaits patiently, and studies those who arrive.

[Erutirn(#17520)] The young knight, Erutirn, has prepared his horse a number of paces away from the others. The man looks around at the people gathered here, steadying his horse as he waits.

Beldor bows his head \"Aye M\'Lord\" he replies to the question. Sitting up he swallows before continuing \"Lord Thorondur has given me leave so that I may serve the Knights on this quest.\" He finishes in his best formal manner.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

Indilzar looks at the boy for a long moment and then says to him, \"So be it. You then shall bear the banner of the Prince...\"

Indilzar then rides swiftly and picking up the banner emblazoned upon the earth he comes forth to Beldor and hands this to him. He also gives him his horn, \"And when the time comes, you it shall be who shall sound the horn.\"

\"Oh how for present service our steeds neigh! They champ and stamp as if more eager than the fire of the sun!\" cries Indilzar. \"Let us go forth Erchirion! Are you ready for this last adventure?\"

[Amano(#30032)] Quiet as a shadow upon the fringes sits a youth on a tall sable steed, mantled in a plain cloak his features are pale in the morning, but already a gleam resides in his grey gaze. Amano, one of the younger knights in the company, his hand steady upon the reins.

[Beldor(#28491)] Takes the Banner and horn. Slinging the horn by the strap over his shoulder so that he shall not drop it. Then he rest the bottom of the staff in his stirup so that all may see the banner of Imrahil. Bowing his head Beldor says \"I shall not let you down M\'Lord, nor shall Prince Imrahil\'s banner fall!\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] And lo, there does the sun break the horizon, and the prince stirs. For as if an appointed time had come, Erchirion wheels his horse, facing the men gathered there, \"Aye, let us finish this and come not home, lest we return with young Amrothos in our midst.\"

And into each man\'s eyes he looks, a simple and sizing look, piercing and calm, ”Come now, ye who would see the Son of Imrahil free,\" and again the horse is wheeled about, facing now the marble gates of Dol Amroth by the sea, \"Let us ride!\"

A flurry of movement does he become, for in that instant Anaril is drawn, and in the sun\'s light it glimmers red and fiery, and to the gates he points, then spurs his mighty charger forward.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

\"I doubt if that shall happen this day,\" says the Black Knight of Belfalas with a smile. \"Yet you comfort me. Smile on boy and now. Look! Erchirion is ready and behold! The Sword of Anarion shines again! Sound the horn Beldor!\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] Then the host proclaims, \"Anaril is reforged! Anarion goes to War!\"

[Beldor(#28491)] Without a word, Beldor spurs his horse onwards. The flag fluttering straight behind him.

Indilzar moves out into the countryside. Indilzar has left. Erchirion moves out into the countryside. Erchirion has left. Herunumendil moves out into the countryside. Herunumendil has left. Beldor moves out into the countryside. Beldor has left. Erutirn moves out into the countryside. Erutirn has left. Celebnaith moves out into the countryside.

~ A long ride now commences to the Stone of Erech.~

The grass of the mountains, a deep brilliant green, climbs high up the slopes. In the north of this fertile valley, pushed against the feet of the mountains, is a large bay of water. Flowing from high up the peaks, the water collects there for a brief moment before pouring down through the valley, as Morthond River. Morthond, or \"Blackroot\", derives from the dreaded paths of the dead, which lie only a short distance away.

Some distance to the northeast, a large hill stands, with little around it save barren plains. Something gleams a deep black from its top, like a sick crown. The road continues through the vale, along its usually northwest-southeast course. To the southeast, it rises slowly out of the valley, and apparently dead ends at the mountains. The northwest way passes over the Morthond, clearing the dark mountain waters by way of a narrow bridge. It continues up, into the mountains on the other side. The valley continues to drop to the south, joining with a larger vale in that direction.

By the Stone of Erech

Upon this hill the sun seems never to shine, for you have come to Erech, and the terror of the sleepless dead lay all about these lands. Here it stands alone, empty fields about and in the midst of the hill there is a great globe, the height of a man, though it is half-buried.

The wind seems to howl like the voices of ghosts as you look upon this ancient place, and the accursed stone.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

It has been a hard and long road for the riders on errantry. Yet their banners pass swiftly over the land until they come to that place where their quest started. The Stone of Erech.

All is silent about the land as the hunters come.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Riding there in the lead, Erchirion raises his hand and calls the party to a halt.

\"Look there,\" he says to Indilzar, pointing to the Stone of Erech, \"We have come to the end of our quest..\"

[Combat(#13388)] Erchirion draws forth the blade Anaril, the reforged sword of Anarion.

[Beldor(#28491)] With Imrahil\'s banner whipping in the wind, Beldor keeps his station behind his lord Indilzar, never looking back or to the sides his attention if firmly fixed on the Black Knight\'s back. Then as they halt he looks in the direction pointed out by Indilizar and only offers a nod as he takes in the cursed stone.

[Indilzar(#10108)] \"Finally,\" says Indilzar slowly looking upon the dread stone.

\"All the land is silent and watchful.\"

\"Beldor,\" bids Indilzar, \"Sound your horn.\"

Erutirn slowly comes to a stop behind the elder knights. He looks towards the stone, but stays silent as he waits.

[Beldor(#28491)] BAROOOOOOOM BAROOOOOOM is Beldors answer to Indilzar’s command.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

\"Come forth!\" cries Indilzar.

\"Let the Traitor come forth!\"

[Amano(#30032)] The command from the Black Knight comes to Amano but faintly, as he bends his gaze upon the stone, and the sunless day might seem to be shiver to some at the horn-call wound. As yet saying nothing, the Isilrim keeps his mount still, awaiting what might come.

Erchirion rests there, Anaril in hand awainting the appearance of He who has caused all this.

Beldor lowers the horn from his lips and scans the area around him as Indilzar yells out. Keeping a tight hold of the horse\'s reins as the young horse side steps about.

Celebnaith stands readied amidst his detachment, his eyes darting about.

Silence is the reply for a long while. Nothing but silence.

Then there is slowly a hiss from the hills about the stone then a slow rumble of distant thunder.

Then slowly a green light of faint radiance appears. The figure is wraith-like, though in form much unto a knight.

[Erchirion(#29344)] \"Lo there, the Traitor comes at last,\" Erchirion speaks, his words grim, his voice cold.

\"A traitor to who?\" says the wraith with mocking laughter. \"Surely not to thee or thine. Wronged I was, wronged!\"

The laughter is now more unsteady, \"And when the sword is mine I shall die yes, die into the dust. Did you bring what I seek?\"

[Beldor(#28491)] As the form comes forth, Beldor\'s eyes go wide. Though he does not falter, he swollows hard and and points with his chin \"Th...There M\'Lord, look.\"

[Indilzar(#10108)]

And Indilzar looks and nods, \"The Oathbreaker.\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] The steed of Imrahil\'s son shies away from the shade, yet the Prince turns not his head, \"I have brought that which you ask.\"

And in saying this Erchirion raises the blade so that the spectre clad in pale green light might look upon it and tremble.

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

Now from the south comes the sound of a galloping steed -- yet the sound of steel-shod hoofs rings hollowly in the silence of the grave that pervades this accursed glen. Soon a gleaming knight all in white appears, astride a horse of like colour, and he is girt in silvery mail:

The Lord Girithlin, the Knight of the Stones, has come.

[Herunumendil(#15552)] Herunumendil shivers with the crooked spear of foreboding that rams up along his spine. He grips the wirebound hilt of his greatsword all the tighter, and looks to see the rapt expressions upon the faces of his shield brothers...

The Green Knight smiles and then seems to float forward, \"Yes. That is it. That is it. Anaril. Curse Anaril and curse Anarion. I tell you all this, that any man who would doom one to eternal torment for a change of alliance is pitiless and deserves no love. Oh to woe! For now my name has long been forgot! Even by myself while his yet lives on in song. Though what did he do? Nothing! Why it was Isildur who brought the Tree from the West and it was Elendil who fought in the last combat! Nothing!\"

[Erutirn(#17520)] Gripping the reins of his horse with one hand and the hilt of his sword with the other, Erutirn tries to steady both his horse and himself at the same time. He keeps watching the procedings, though he casts his eyes to various things every few moments.

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

\"And what art thou,\" wonders Thorondur, guiding his great steed to the side of Indilzar\'s, staring bright defiance at this wraith, \"save Nothing?\" Now his eyes flicker briefly to Erchirion Imrahil\'s son, and the ancient sword reforged. What will happen?

\"I am a soul Sir Knight,\" replies the ghost, \"And for that am I not pitiful? Ages and ages I have been here. Surely yes what I did once upon a time was in poor judgement, but come now! I have paid enough! Now at last I shall have rest, and you shall have the boy!\"

[Amano(#30032)] Upon the blade rather, does Amano turn his gaze, refusing to glance at that wraith as though not acknowledging its presence, though not from fear or dread. And reflected in his unchanging eyes is that line of sky-fire.

Yet the words of the Lord Girithlin draws his glance at last to the shade, and its words spark a deep suspicion that cannot be veiled in his expression.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Calmly does the Prince rest, even as his horse stirs at the closeness of the otherworldly being, \"I care not for your ramblings Oathbreaker,\" comes the voice of Erchirion in reply.

\"I would see my brother now.\"

\"Very well,\" replies the wraith. With a motion of his hand the form of Amrothos appears as if asleep or dead, lying upon the stone of Erech.

\"Now,\" says the Green Knight, \"The sword. The sword. Give me the sword.\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)] Now briefly the Lord Girithlin looks away from the spectral villain to Beldor, the lad with the banner. To the boy he says quietly, in voice so clear and elven-fair, \"Fear not, young Beldor. I shall protect you and your solemn charge, our banner.\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] Drawing breath, Herun holds it for a beat, then exhales to hold it agian, denying intake, before inhaling again. He centers himself, forging mind and body into an alloy of strength and concentration, wary of treachery...

[Erchirion(#29344)] \"A moment yet.\" Erchirion speaks.

Turning he gazes to Thorondur, \"Lord Girithlin, would you see to my brother?\" And the the eyes of Imrahil\'s son turn back to the shadow of days past, \"For if he be dead then the sword shall evermore rest beyond your reach.\"

Celebnaith stands rigid in formation, watching the events intently.

The wraith seems to smile, \"Do not come closer. He breathes yet and has been asleep for an age or more.\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] \"You have broken your oath once,\" the Prince replies, \"How am I to trust that you will not break it yet again?\"

[Beldor(#28491)] The Lord Girithlin\'s voice not only calms the lad, but seems to have the same effect on the horse. Tearing his eyes off the wicked thing Beldor looks at the Knight and offers a quick smile and nod of his head. But as quickly as this has been done his head whips back to the creature that has come forth.

\"That is a chance you shall have to take,\" replies the ghost, \"Yet think of this. What use have I for the boy save as a means to my own rest?\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

Now paying no mind to the warnings of the wraith, Thorondur gives Erchirion a curt, quick nod of assent -- and setting hands to his reins, he starts Amrandir cantering forward toward the Stone.

Yet even as Thorondur approaches the vision of Amrothos disappears.

[Erutirn(#17520)] Still as he watches the two knights interact with the Wraith, Erutirn stays quiet. When he sees Amrothos disappear, he raises his sword a few inches out of its hilt and turns to look at Erchirion.

[Thoróndur(#23126)] \"And so art thou revealed: faithless and false, as ever thou wert,\" the Lord Girithlin remarks, and the silvered lord-blade of Cardolan springs to his hand. He looks back over his shoulder to the Prince\'s son, and calls, \"Erchirion! Say the word--!\"

Amrandir chomps at his bit, pawing the ground with a forehoof. Knight and destrier are barely restrained, awaiting only some signal from the brother of Amrothos.

The wraith says in response, \"I told you not to come closer. Hand over the sword, and the boy shall be returned.\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

\"Do not believe this shade of the ages, Erchirion,\" Thorondur warns. \"It once betrayed the sons of Elendil! What is a word or a promise to such a creature?\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] The balls of his feet spread in readiness. Amber eyes pierce the gloom, trying to pierce the dark heart of the spectre and its intentions. Despising death, Herunumendil readies for the word of Erchirion...

The wraith moans out suddenly in torment and then drops to his knees, its ghostly head down, \"Strike me then. Strike down this tormented soul and complete the job done by Anarion long ago! Let hatred breed hatred. Times have changed, but Men have not.\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] \"Very well,\" Erchirion replies, his hand gripping the hilt of mighty Anaril, gazing to the blade for a moment, his eyes troubled as if searching for the course that is true and right.

Yet as his brother\'s image disappears, the Son of Imrahil looks up, his eyes full of fury and fire, \"Traitor!\" he speaks forth in a mighty tone, \"You seek to decieve me by placing an image of he who we would free.\" And there the hand upon the hilt of Anarion\'s sword tightens, \"Foul shade,\" he almost hisses, and spurs his horse onward, sword barred and glimmering with the light of it\'s ancient power. Thus does the Son of Imrahil ride forth towards the Knight-Traitor, \"You will never hold this blade in they cold and lifeless grasp, foul and hideous creature.\" And there he stands, face to face with the traitor of ages past, sword flaring as it is raised to smite the creature, \"Free him!\" his voice comes in a terrible shout, as the sword is lowered.

Celebnaith mutters under his breath to himself as things intensify.

\"Yessss,\" hisses the wraith, \"slice my neck. Do it son of Imrahil. Give in to hate.\"

[Beldor(#28491)] Seeing both Knights move forward, Beldor finds himself doing the same. Still though between him and the wraith stands the Black Knight and the Knight Herald.

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

\"Lies,\" says the clear voice of the Herald, cool and serene. \"So ever have the Shadow and its servants sought thus to deceive. Hatred, cruel shade? Call it justice, and in justice there is no love or hate: only that which must be done.\"

Now he raises his eyes to the younger Prince, and says sharply, \"End it, Erchirion. There is no bargaining with the faithless.\"

\"End my torment,\" cries the wraith fiendishly, \"Use the fell blade and give me PEACE!\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] Speaking out of turn, Herunumendil raises his voice, yet still it is muffled by the blanket of gloom on the hill, \"My Lord Erchirion, do not give up on your brother... \"

[Erutirn(#17520)] \"Halt! No matter how much this...\" Erutirn looks towards the wraith, \".fiend, deserves it... how shall we free Amrothos from his grip? It alone knows where he is... and without him we have no way to find your brother, Lord Erchirion.\"

\"No!\" cries another voice, \"No Erchirion! Do not!\"

It is come from the earth as if in a deep well beyond the shadow of thought. It sounds like Amrothos.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Terribly swift does the blade descend, racing forth through the air to end this cursed existence of this foul creature.

And closer it draws, the eyes of Erchirion burning with fury fueled by the hatred of this thing that has snatched his very brother from his grasp.

Yet something happens, and hatred dies within the heart of the Prince, and the sword slows it\'s descent, and stops, resting upon the neck of the shade.

\"There are things in this world that deserve to die for that which they have done to harm others,\" he says, looking down at the shade, \"You are not one of these creatures, no, you shall endure, and suffer for that which you have brought upon thyself. Oathbreaker, and Liar, your crimes merit not death, but life, eternal and endless life, suffering for that which you have done until one comes who is greater than I, he who will rise out of the shadows of the past and rule us once more, and by him, and only him will you be set free.\"

Raising then his the sword, Erchirion walks to the Stone, placing the flat of the blade upon it\'s cool black surface, \"Come Amrothos,\" he beckons, \"There is no bond over thee anymore, come forth and let us return home.\"

The wraith laughs hard, \"You think it is so easy? Oh do not slay him! If I do that I shall have great power! Phaw! Just lay down the sword or strike me down and have done!\"

But there comes a glow from the Stone...

And then suddenly a blinding light as the sword touches the stone.

The sword Anaril is wrenched free from Erchirion\'s grasp. This is followed by the great boom!

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

Now the Lord Thorondur only watches that which unfolds, silent and stoic with his own ancient sword poised and ready in his hand. Even he must raise a hand to shield his eyes from the sudden light--!

Then silence. When all is still, there is Amrothos! He lies upon the ground as if in slumber.

The sword however lay upon the ground, in four pieces. And the wraith is no where to be seen.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Little prepared is he for that which happens, yet the light blinds him, the laughter of the Green-Knight fills his ears, and the sword is wrenched from his grasp.

Yet the light fades, and there, laying peacefully within the grass is his brother, and to him he rushes, \"Amrothos,\" he beckons to him, calling him forth from sleep, \"Awake, for it tis I, Erchirion, your brother.\"

Amrothos flickers open his eyes and then looks into Erchirion\'s eyes, \"Oh Erchirion! It was like I was in a dark dream! What has happened to me?\"

[Beldor(#28491)] As the light fades from his eyes, and the boom fades from the country side, Beldor makes out the form of a man upon the ground. Still clutching the staff, he jumps down from his horse and moves closer to the three men by the stone.

[Amano(#30032)] The burst of light dimmed the youthful Isilrim\'s sight, so that he had upflung an arm to shade his gaze raising his head, he discerns naught at first. Yet when his vision has cleared, and the forms of the two brothers he can discern, relief wells in his face.

\"It is done...\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] Moving forward with deadly grace, Herunumendil turns his back to the Lord\'s and wards them, so that their reunion might be done with out fear of danger...

[Thoróndur(#23126)] \"Done, and done,\" echoes Thorondur, speaking into the wake of Amano\'s words. Yet as all eyes turn to the young princes, the Herald leaps down from his horse and sheathes his sword. Moving swiftly he comes to the shards of the sword, and bending a knee stoops down to study them.

[Erutirn(#17520)] As the light blinds him, Erutirn is slow to raise his hand. So after a few long moments his vision is restored, he looks to the other and quickly his gaze turns to rest upon the children of Imrahil, Erchirion and Amrothos.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Smiling then to his brother, Amrothos the Younger, Erchirion speaks, \"Much has happened Brother, yet the time for telling has not come. Let us leave this place and all will be told before we arrive once more in our father\'s keep.\"

Slowly, the Son of Imrahil places an arm about his brother, and helps him from the ground, turning to those who have come, he smiles to them all, \"It is finished.\"

\"My Lords,\" he says to Indilzar and Thorondur, \"Might one of thee help my brother mount my steed, for I must collect to shards of Anaril, so that they might be returned to their resting places.\"

Indilzar sighs heavily and dismounting comes to the shards of the sword. He then picks up one of the jewels. A ruby. This he then says, \"I shall hold unto this as a weregild for the troubles of the road.\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)] \"And I, this pearl,\" Thorondur says, taking up the hilt-gem that he was given by Elrond Half-Elven, \"for the fallen Princes of Cardolan who died to save this shard from ruin, in days of the North long past.\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] \"Never again shall this sword be forged anew I deem,\" says Indilzar, \"For now it seems to me that the knight is banished forever and has found his peace.\"

[Erutirn(#17520)] \"Surely we should return the shards of the sword given us by the Dwarves and the Elves to them, not keep them for ourselves.\" Erutirn says as he watches the two knight ransack the sword. \"So that in ages to come all shall remember that Gondor the Great does not keep the riches of the world for herself alone and returns what she has used to those who granted her their use.\"

[Beldor(#28491)] Standing there watching the men that he has come to know, Beldor plants the staff onto the ground and looks up at the banner of Imrahil. Smiling he turns once again to watch the men as they help Amrothos and find parts of the sword that shall remind them of the task now ended.

[Erchirion(#29344)] Bending down, and drawing forth the hilt and blade, Erchirion rises, even as Amrothos rest within the saddle of his horse, \"Let the rest be returned to the north, for a hilt and blade is of no use to us, and Lord Arnafel did swear an oath to Lord Elrond.\"

Yet as the Lord Indilzar speaks, the Prince turns to gaze at the cursed stone, \"Nay...\" he says softly, \"I believe that he lingers yet, in fury and malice, his plans twarted by love and hope..\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] With barely disguised awe, Herun relaxes his guard and sheathes his greatsword. He watches and listens to all, keeping tight reign upon his turbulent thoughts...

[Indilzar(#10108)] \"I think Erchirion,\" says Indilzar, \"that he is indeed gone, and he has paid his price.\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

\"A gift given freely may be done with as it will,\" Thorondur says, rising to inspect the heavy pearl in the sunlight. \"You have many lessons to learn, Sir Erutirn -- not least of which is obedience. Now the quest is done, your presence will be required in the Hall of the Faithful for judgement on your errors.\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] \"We may never know,\" Erchirion speaks again, \"But enough... let us leave this cursed place and return home victorious.\"

Yet as they turn to leave, Erchirion lays hand upon Thorondur\'s shoulder, \"My Lord, I would ask a boon of thee?\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

Now Thorondur turns to Erchirion, curious. \"You may ask, son of my Prince and brother of Lothiriel I owe much to your family, and so shall this pearl be delivered -- but that is neither here nor there. Say on.\"

[Erchirion(#29344)] Nodding, the Prince seems reluctant for a moment, then he speaks, \"Never again will my hand wield a sword as finely wrought as that of Anaril, and my heart aches with that knowledge, but I know thee to be a man skilled in the use of the mighty two-handed blades.\"

\"I have some knowledge of their use, yet my wielding of them is still clumsy and unskilled, and I would be honoured if you would train me in their use?\"

[Herunumendil(#15552)] At hearing this request, Herunumendil\'s attention seeks the Lord herald\'s reply...

[Erutirn(#17520)] \"As you wish Thorondur, I shall recieve first the judgement of my peers here in Dol Amroth and then return to my father to see him.\" Erutirn now begins to turn his horse to leave this place. \"Perhaps then I shall be allowed to continue fighting the Haradrim...\" He trails off, ending up talking to himself.

[Thoróndur(#23126)] A smile touches Thorondur\'s lips at this princely request, and he inclines his head graciously. \"You flatter me, Erchirion, yet I seem to be surrounded by such praise of late,\" he sighs -- and laughs. \"But let it be so. It may be indeed that I can teach you some small things.\"”

Erchirion smiles then, and claps the man on the shoulder once more, \"I thank you my Lord,\" he says, and then turns, walking toward his brother and steed. Once there he mounts the great charger and wheels the horse to face that of Dol Amroth by the sea.

\"Let us go home,\" he looks to all and says, \"Let us go home.\"

[Beldor(#28491)] Watching the two Knights and upon hearing Thorondur\'s laugh, Beldor grins and he finaly relaxes a bit. Turning from them he trots on over to his own horse, pausing a moment to figure out how he is going to get back on while holding the staff. Although a bit awkward he finaly sets himself rightly and once again the staff finds the stirrup at the same time as his foot.

[Herunumendil(#15552)] \"My Lord Herald,\" Herunumedil begins trepidatiously. His voice growing steadier, Herun tilts his chin proudly, I too would be honored to be instructed by yourself to better use my own greatsword.\"

[Thoróndur(#23126)]

Glancing toward the young guardsman from the north as he approaches his horse, the Lord Thorondur studies the man briefly -- a glance, no more -- and nods his assent. \"So be it. Seek me out, when we have returned to Dol Amroth, and we shall see if you can learn what I would teach you.\"

Herunumendil nods his assent. \"My thanks my Lord.\" He then falls into line and prepares for the journey back whence they had come.
