Where
Eaves of Mirkwood

Morrandir, determined to do a valiant deed to earn his knighthood, foolishly taunts a group of the enemy while alone with Rowaen.

Time ICly: 10 of March, in the late evening

Mal Taurduin, edge of the forest

The mid afternoon air is mild under the eaves of the dark Mirkwood forest. The once vibrant wood looms tall and gloomy to the west, its foreboding trees a dark and nearly unpenetrable wall. The path drops down a small steep bank to the south as the Taurduin emerges from the forest, its waters laughing cheerfully as they chase their way around the southerly bend in their course.

Far to the east is a small village, its small huts huddling under the spreading, young green foliage of the massive oak at its center.

The path is little more than a meandering, damp and warm smudge travelling through a small field to the village to the east, and quickly eaten up by the trees to the west.

The sky above is clear and blue and the sun shines merrily.

[Darshgar(#16495)] The four orcs and human move slowly northward, a lantern lighting the way of the

woman to help her eyes, as the orcs mumble quietly to one another in the language of their garrison, of the weaknesses of pitiful humans. The single Dushgoi soldier, scimitar drawn at the ready, moves in the back, with the human directly infront of him. The female orc leads the way, with two other Pulgor soldiers directly behind her. They move with as much stealth possible, given the faint light the human is forced to carry, steps light, and speaking softly.

Silent is the night, not many are out on this hour. A few excepted it seems... for look! There between the trees, dark figures move. Several lights being carried, three lanterns, voices speak. Firstborn? Nay, naught those of the fair kind, a closer look shows these figures are dressed differently, and lack the common features of the fair elves. Humans they are, men from Gondor, apparently on a nightly walk, talking busily. Five figures can be distinguished, three dressed quite similar, being guardsmen, brave and valiant men send by the Steward to accompany those of the travelling party.

Two more walk beside them, one dressed in white and blue, wearing signs common to those being a Blue Squire of the Order of the Swan. It is Rowaen, here, walking... not much he speaks, again busied with thoughts of his own, the blue of his eyes bearing the so common sullenness. He speaks only, when questions asked.

Kaide sits low seeing the not too far distant lights of the appraching humans. She looks at the orcs about her not knowing how to communicate and in her frustration, darts off into the surrounding tree line letting her lantern lie on the ground, now doused. She moves as silently and quickly as she can with her lithe small body, a slight branch crackling beneathe her feet every couple of steps as she moves. She stops just short of the men, hidden in the shadows allowing for some time for her eyes to get adjusted to the low light from the dark from which she has just come out.

[Morrandir(#24549)] The other Gondorian, the man in white, seems more at ease. He laughs heartily at some inaudible comment made by one of the guardsmen, yet his laughter ceases as he notices the figures that move towards them. \"Put those lanterns out!\" he says sharply. \"If I am not mistaken those are orcs that approach!\" The lanterns are doused, and the five vanish into the night.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] And lo, what treachery is this, for the dark spawn walk the land, unadorned by light, for in this, the darkest of natures foul abodes, they need naught but the vision they doth readily own as their birthright. Leading the party, a fell beast of furry skin and grotesque muzzle moves forward, her feet lacking stealth as they drum upon the ground, eyes staring towards the human grouping, their now doused light no hindrance to her view.

Kaide watches silently from the trees nearly 30 feet away from the halting Gondorians as they put out their lights. She grins and looks back to where she was at shadows of the orcs now visible to the humans. She then turns back toward the humans watching them closely, waitng for the time to ambush them. She unsheathes her dagger slowly as she watches gently pressing the point on the ground twirling it.

Faint noises aswell seem to attract the young Nimothan\'s attention, for there the Blue Squire blinks, immediately reacting to the warning of Morrandir, gesturing towards the guards to spread out. He himself stands silent, ducking low, eyes sharp and fully aware, piercing the dark sky around. Not a single word he utters, his hand slowly going to the sheath on his belt, a blade being released, pulled free with his right hand.

Kaide laughs faintly to herself watching the humans as they take alarm. She herself does not move, being well hidden and in no exact poise to lunge at the moment as he sits idley awaiting the assault from the front.

[Morrandir(#24549)] Morrandir, sword in hand looks to Rowaen and grins. \"This ought to prove amusing.\" he mutters. Standing tall, Morrandir calls out to the approaching enemy: \"Halt in the name of The Prince!. Declare yourselves, spawn of Morgoth!\" He raises his sword, the blade glittering in the starlight.

Turning to Rowaen, he points to the blue stripes upon the Nimothan\'s tunic. \"Forgive me.\" he whispers. \"You are in command here.\"

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Stealth unused in any case, the leader of the party rises, her mouth contorted in a rictus of hatred. A shout is thrown to the humans ears, \"You stupid, want us declare ourselves as spawn of Morgoth? Maybe Spin want declare self as Tark-whore!\"

More gestures come from the young Blue Squire, now rising, eyes searching for the other men, at the same time briefly glancing to the darkness of the trees before him. How calm the eyes stand, cold and clear. At the words of Morrandir, Rowaen can only shake his head, eying his friend slightly, glance disapproving, and at the sudden call of the other squire, even darker becomes his expression. Soft the young Nimothan speaks to Morrandir, only half-hearing words spoken by the dark creatures so near..

\"Morrandir! Are you mad?! Who knows how large their numbers are... perhaps you are in for a swift dead, I am not! /Lives/ are at stake here, keep that in mind?\"

Silence overcomes him again, now aware of words spoken, a few steps forward the squire takes, rising to full length. \"Who goes there and for what reasons?\"

[Kaide(#12422)] Still in the shadows Kaide grins at the banter of the Gondorians to one another as she can hear all that is being spoken between them. She continues to thumb her dagger waiting impatiently for a moment to use it, but she remains still, breathless almost, not allowing for her precense to be known.

[Morrandir(#24549)] \"Rowaen, it is our duty to stop these /creatures/ in their tracks. The night air is fresh, the stars glittering. Tis a fine night to do great deeds in the name of Gondor.\" Morrandir says quietly. He tests his blade with a few practice swings in the air. \"Besides, if there are too many of them we can fetch Sir Indilzar to come and spit ten of the brutes upon his blade with each thrust.\"

[Spinnekop(#24523)] The she-uruks shape clangs softly as her body moves in the rythmic tune of blighted laughter. \"I hear human\'s smart I do, but you stupid, you ask who I am and why I here you do? Bah, stupid Tark, I am your mother! I come to take you back maggot, I shall piss upon your corpse and feast upon your eyes!\" Cackling, the beast pulls forth a bloodstained axe, her head moving in a circle, the bones creaking grotesquely.

Kaide laughs again to herself at the remark of the one human to his white blazen leader about the man Indilzar wondering how they would feel if she were to kill him in the night ere they returned. But her thoughts distract for only a moment as she begins to watch the leader more intently.

Fierce is the fire within the sullen blue, briefly directed at the figure of Morrandir. For indeed, Rowaen thinks not lightly of the matter at hand, grave is his expression, fully aware of what might happen and what might not... Still the young squire is not ready to be distracted by words, sounding \'foolish\' to his ears. How cold is his voice, spoken with a deadly calmth... \"Very well then, Morrandir, it seems your swift words already decided for us... Still I am not prepared to risk the lives of three other men, men of guards, not ours to command. Your own life.. I leave it to your decision...\"

A sharp turn, eyes once more directed at the trees, to where the sound of a dark one comes. In reply comes Rowaen\'s voice, words spoken calm, yet clear and strong. \"A chance will be given to you to retreat, for it would be you, being indeed -foolish- to start a fight at this here place! Help is near and in large numbers, so be wise and take yourself... \'back\'...\" As the squire ends, exspectantly is his glance towards the darkness, body tensioning somewhat, perhaps already suspecting what was next to come. So out goes his whisper to his fellow guardsmen.

You +whisper to Morrandir, \"Ready your weapons, a skirmish seems unavoidable...\"

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Eyes narrowing the she-uruk stares towards the foolish humans, \"I think you stupid tark-whore, pissing on a troll is bad way to live. I will take your cohones, and I will wear them as a badge of honour, and give your head to the she-uruks in the pleasure pits, so they may use it for their wishes. Your body shall be torn apart, your entrails fed to my pet snagas, and your soul shall be taken in chains to the Eye, where you shall be chewed upon by worms of hatred till the day the Dark Lord takes your heart and consumes your being! Come Tark, fight, or I kill you where you stand!\"

Kaide steps up lightly onto the balls of her feet knowing the orcs won\'t stand to banter much longer. Slowly she begins to creep in a circle staying still a significant distance away around the back of the Gondorians carefuly eyeing the leader in an attempt to position herself where there is no one else between her and he. Moving silently, she finds her stop as the orcs keep them distracted with their taunts. Lying low and poised merely 20 or so feet away from a direct attack, she leans forward ready to attack at the perfect moment of chaos.

[Morrandir(#24549)] \"You dare challenge a man of Gondor, maggot?\" cries Morrandir fiercly, his single eye gleaming with malice. He looks across to Rowaen and mutters \"They are not going to back down, my friend. We are in for a fight whether we like it or not.\"

[Spinnekop(#24523)] With a single motion, the she-uruk sends a Dog forward, his eyes intent upon the foolish human. Swinging his scimitar back and forth, he charges Morrandir, whilst Spinnekop moves up slowly, ready to move in, should the dog fail.

A soft laughter comes from Rowaen\'s lips. \"Aye, strong words for one drawing so near to an elven realm, and now apparently.. -scared- to take the last step. We are already here, no need for us to step even further... If it is a fight you want, then it is a fight you will have to come and get!\" However as Rowaen speaks, vividly his eyes search the surroundings, taking note of the position of the other three men, not far off, the five of them standing in a half circle, facing as many directions as possible. Grim the men look, fully aware of the battle to come, they stand ready, as they always stand. And then comes the attack.... Last command of Rowaen being: \"Watch each other\'s back!\" Swords are raised and readied, shields equipped and lifted, the valiant men of Gondor stand ready!

Kaide lies still, silently, yet as poised as a cat as it watches its prey intently. The man in blazen white seemingly reluctant to start a fight seems overly aware as he spans out the other guards to watch. She waits for an opening, but moves not at all till the orcs advance.

[Kaide(#12422)] A few other orcs, weapons at the ready approach slowly a pace or two behind the dog. Growling and snarling do they go ever nearer awaiting the first blows of the dog and the human. As they position themselves attempting to surround the small group.

Was it movement? Rowaen stands slightly troubled, a brow raised in wondering, eyes fixed upon the darkness that lays behind them. As if seeing something not in place, a threat? Still he is not sure, and is given no time to ponder on the matter, for there draws close the first of the dark one\'s numbers, Rowaen casting a last final glance on the other men, as if to acknowledge their readiness to fight... So he turns, facing those approaching them.

[Morrandir(#24549)] \"Good luck my friend.\" says Morrandir, grinning at Rowaen. Hefting his sword he charges forth to meet the attacking orc.

\"Amroth for Gondor!!\"

The pathetic creature is cut down after a brief clash of steel, Morrandir\'s height being a huge advantage. After spitting upon the orc\'s corpse, Morrandir charges once again, this time attacking Spinnekop.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

[Kaide(#12422)] The orcs near the guards, at the attack of Morrandir charge the guards alarmed by his sudden cry. Gnashing their teeth they move as the howl and spit clashing sword on sword and sword on shield.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] A harsh growl is all the contemplation that the fallen orc is given, the sword of the human finding the Logaz herself as its next target. Grunting as she moves backwards, the she-uruk raises her axe to her chest with a snarl of animal rage, and attacks the foolish human who would dare to fell her slaves. Swinging from her side, the axe is aimed in a cleaving motion for the humans chest, deadly intent within its every move.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but she misses by an arm\'s length.

[Kaide(#12422)] Watching from the dark as the orcs lunge forward, Kaide makes ready her strike, dagger in hand and feet prepped to move, then as if a bolt of lightning had just been unleashed from its dark cloud Kaide springs forward, her lithe footsteps audible now but quick as she springs with her gleaming dagger out at Rowaen whom is directly in her ruinous path.

Kaide attacks you with her Dagger!...

...and she hits! Ouch!

Steel upon steel, men against orc, the guards fighting a fierce fight. Orcs pushed back with shields, swords lifted, coming down upon the cursed figures. Cries leaving their lips! \"Hail Gondor!\" \"For the Steward!\"

Rowaen aswell assumes a fighting stance, an orc coming too close for comfort, his blade is lifted and comes down with force, for a moment losing track of all around. So the attack from behind he notices almost too late, almost! For it seems never has he lost the sense of awareness, turning half-way as the dagger is thrusted towards his neck. Swift is the movement of his left arm, holding shield. Head pulled back, the dagger cutting through studded leather, in his arm, missing it\'s intented target. Sure death he so avoids, blinking only once, perhaps in unbelief.

And look! Swift is his recovery, counter-attack now following, the Squire\'s fury fully upon the lithe figure before him! \"Nimothan!\" is his cry, sword being raised and brought down with force, diagonal from upperleft to downright.

You attack Kaide with your Longsword...

Your attack against Kaide moderately wounds her!

[Morrandir(#24549)] Morrandir sidesteps just in time, the axe missing him by a hair\'s breadth. In retaliation he lunges wildly at the uruk, aiming also for the chest.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and moderately wounds her!

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Amazed that her attack missed, Spinnekop stands mouth agape as the humans blade slides under her upstretched arms, cutting a weak link in the mail, and hitting flesh. Sinking deep, the blade glances from a rib, not fatal, but extremely painful damage. Falling back, the she-uruk raises her axe, and growls.

Kaide\'s dagger is turned from its intended target and knocked into the studded leather barely knicking the arm of the soldier. She growls frustrated as the man turns aside not seeing the blow come down on her from the back slicing through her armourless clothing and skin. She would have fallen down from the trmendous and unexpected blow had her momentum not kept her moving forward. Stepping clumbsily toward a nearby tree she places an arm on it and leans turning and looking back at the Gondorian intently with hatred burning in her eyes. She remarks sullenly, \"Rarely has a strike caught me at unawares. I have killed more than you could know, and most of them servants of your whore princess!\" She laughs, \"Yes, I have been in your court, I know your colors and your creed, and I know how their blood has spoiled more than one of my cloaks and the pretty ball gowns that they wear.\" Staring intently and taking the breif moment to rest she stands up straight and ready for the impending fight with the squire, allowing him to attack first.

ARB: Kaide has \"passed\" on her turn to attack.

[Morrandir(#24549)] As Spinnekop recovers from her wound, Morrandir attacks again. Showing no mercy to the uruk, he coldly thrusts at her again. He aims for the same spot, seeing the armor weakened. His blade darts forward like an asp.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and lightly wounds her!

[Spinnekop(#24523)] As the blade once more strikes flesh, though this time not as hard nor as deep, the she-uruks eyes blaze, the axe raising from it\'s protective position, her entire body thrusting forward to heighten the strength of the blow. An overhead cleave is aimed towards the humans collarbone, alongside his neck.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but she misses by a handspan.

Clearly his opponent tries to provoke him, awaiting too swift movements, standing ready to take advantage of quick mistakes made. So no attack comes from the squire, eyes gazing coldy at the maiden before him, perhaps wondering how such one as she could be so dark within. \"Perhaps... all I can see right now, is a maiden bleeding, her blood being on my blade. Worry not for my court... tis a place you will likely never see again, as for your reputation as a murderer, no comment you will get then you being a... coward. See in me the one to give you just deservings for ill-deeds done!\"

A glance round, battlefield overseen within a blink, assured the squire steps towards his opponent, raising shield before him, blade behind it. Cold as ice are his eyes, piercing those of the woman before him. Still no attack he makes, waiting perhaps? \"Here I am... coward..\" Teasingly he waves his blade a moment before the maiden\'s figure, blade held steady again, point slightly forward, ready to defend and strike afterwards.

ARB: Rowaen has \"passed\" on his turn to attack.

[Morrandir(#24549)] Morrandir steps back swiftly as the axe arcs towards him. Raising his shield he batters it away, the steel striking the wood with a resounding \'boom\'. \"That was close.\" he mutters with a wry grin. Grunting in fury he lashes out fiercly at the orc as though the fires of Eregion burned within him.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and moderately wounds her!

Kaide continues to taunt as the attack is pending, \"It\'s too bad that I have to spill your blood, you are quite the cutie aren\'t you young and handsome. I\'m sure all the little house prostitutes are all over you back in your cursed halls.\" She looks down at the blade in the hand of the human and smiles, \"As for my blood being upon your blade, I have suffered worse at the hands of my master than you could possibly do with your sword alone.\" She looks then to her own dagger and holds it squarely in front of her face as the point is near to her mouth. \"Besides, it appears I have taken some of your blood as well.\" She then proceeds to touch her tounge to the blade and cackles maniacally. \"I want more,\" she says darkly with resolution and moves forward cautiously dodging aside slightly to the left and right, quickly and gracefully moving forward until she finally lunges and directs a swift attack with her dagger at the exposed sword arm of the man with a horizontal swipe, not going for a kill, but for a hindering wound.

Kaide attacks you with her Dagger!...

...and you block her attack with your shield!

More succes comes for the valiant men from Gondor, one of the guards succeeding in pushing over his opponent, shield thrusted forward with force, blade following swiftly. Another is slightly injured, blood coming from his left arm holding his shield, yet even more fierce he fights now! Not ready to be defeated by those acursed dark creatures. With force he strikes at his opponent, shield arm being lowered more and more. And the last guard still has no advantage, circling his opponent, catching blows directed at him, delivering some of his own. He awaits a chance to strike...

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Taking the swords blow to her chest, the she-uruk falls back once more, blood flowing freely down her side, the mail taking on a crimson gleam in the light. All thoughts lost in the pain of her wounds, the battle axe rises once more, swung sideways for the humans belly.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe and mildly wounds him!

No heed the squire pays to more words the lass speaks, yet as her tongue touches her dagger a fierceness passes his eyes, quite uncommon to his person. Fire burns, no more reason seems left within, still his wits are apparently his to hold, for as the woman makes her swift attack, only a few movements Rowaen makes. His right foot steps backwards, his figure turning halfway, so with more ease he can now raise his shield, steel meeting nothing more then studded leather. A grin, the squire pushing forward his shield with force, the blade following not to far behind. It seems to glimmer, light of the star\'s reflected, then it comes down upon the lass, the strike suddenly being changed into a thrust forward, Rowaen bending low.

You attack Kaide with your Longsword...

Your attack against Kaide badly wounds her!

[Morrandir(#24549)] The squire tries to block the axe, yet such is the momentum of the axe-swing that his longsword does not fend it off completely. Morrandir clenches his teeth as the axe strikes his hip, cutting into the bone. He staggers, yet swiftly regains his composure, drawing back his blade for another strike.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Bleeding heavily now, her breath becoming ragged, the uruk grins as her blade finally strikes home. The return strike barely stings her, the flesh on her arm opening slightly as the sword rends a cut upon it, but this does not slow the orcs retaliation, another high aimed attack, this time, for the humans face.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but she misses by a long shot.

Kaide cries out in pain with a very pathetic yelp for the evil character she had portrayed and falls to her knees. Anger and tears well up as the blow is withdrawn from her shoulder where the sharp blade landed. In frustration at the sight of her blood beginning to seap out of her wound rather profusely, she makes another strike, screaming as she does so, this one intently direct with all of her anger and rage at the exposed groin of the man.

Kaide furiously attacks you with her Dagger!...

...and she hits! Ouch!

A lot of pain would have been the squire\'s part if he not had the wits to jump, his figure moving up into the air, the dagger hitting flesh still, leather being pierced with ease, blood coming from his leg. And so as the young one lands again on the soil, his leg gives way from under him, sinking down on one knee. So indeed surprised he seems, lips tight, as if getting used to the pain and wound delivered. As he rises, the common coldness lies within his blue eyes, sword raised with a loud cry, moving down fiercely! Yet... an inch away from her head he halts, air breathed heavily, sincere hatred reflected within his eyes. \"Useless...\" hisses he at the woman, \"a coward, like I said. When facing one aware of your pitifull presence, not a chance you have... look at yourself, disgusting... One more insult from those lips of yours and be ready to face a slow death... mention whores again, even speak a single word, then be ready to feel my blade thrusted through your flesh, deep, turning...\" Disgusted Rowaen stands, a kick is the last he thinks the woman worthy off. There the boot hits her battered body, kicking her in the stomach. Once more the blade comes down, more slowly, the tip being placed under the dagger the lass still holds, a gentle flip, dagger freed, sailing from her hand. Shield is for a moment dropped upon the ground, the free hand taking hold of the dagger. With force t weapon is throwed away, glimmering steel piercing nothing more then darkness... Re-equipping his shield Rowaen steps away from his attacker, standing ready to defend the others of his kin. \"Nimothan!\" is his cry again, now coming to the aid of the injured guard, striking down his opponent from the side.

[Morrandir(#24549)] A cry of suprise leaves Morrandir\'s lips as the axe narrowly misses his face. His face contorts into a twisted expression of anger, \"That bold stroke shall be your last!\" he snarls. The bloodied longsword strikes again, an angry lunge at the beast\'s heart.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and moderately wounds her!

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Growling at the humans idiotic words, Spinnekop does not deem them worthy of reply, instead using her steel to back her words up, once more, a stroke aimed for the face, this time, the humans eye.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe and lightly wounds him!

[Morrandir(#24549)] The white-squire is unable to deflect the oncoming blow. He jerks back his head, yet the blade strikes his jaw upon the left side. The sickening crack is drowned out by Morrandir\'s scream. The blood begins to flow instantly, streaming down his chin and putting red splotches upon the white of his tunic.

Kaide looks up humiliated and defeated, the blood beginning to mount the ground in small pools that pours now from her back and front. Had she words to say she would say them or turn her dagger on herself, but she rises slowly to her feet aching and growning as she goes. She first turns instinctively towards her dagger then back at the young man. \"You have bested me, my life matters little in the hands of the darklord.\" She begins to sob and speaks to the back of the man, \"Your dear Ivriniel had more compassion on my than did my whore mother, and had I not sold my soul already would I be content to live in her service till the end of my life. You know nothing of fear or of hate, but maybe you shall in the end. But I shall speak no more words. I am dead already.\" She turns away dejected and walks toward to treeline and away from the battle, her sobs loud though she attempts to control them stumbling as she moves bleeding and battered.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Cackling with glee at the powerful attack, and the now streaming blood from the opposition rather than just from herself, the she-uruk presses the advantage, unbeknownst to her, copying the Mordain humans previous blow. Not stopping the battle axes momentum, she redirects it, seeking to swing between the humans legs, and severly hamper his chances of children.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe and moderately wounds him!

A cry of pain... one from the Gondorian men, an orc succeeding in evading the man\'s defences, striking an axe grimly into his sword-arm, in pain the man squirms, the orc already raising his weapon to finish his life. However a blurr of white and blue comes between them, Rowaen being rid of a direct opponent now rushes over the battlefield giving aid where needed, swift are his blows. Arriving at the guard Maegalfuur goes up again, sparkling vividly, down it goes, venturing deep within the orc\'s flesh. The blade is retreated, a lifeless form falling to the soil, the orc\'s blood stenching the earth beneath him. A relieved nod the guard gives his \'savior\', sinking down to his knees in pain, shield and sword bith being dropped. Rowaen whistles sharply, beckoning to one of the other men to take care of his wounded comrad. As the other arrives Rowaen glances briefly round, eyes searching for Morrandir... The blow he witnesses, eyes for a moment fearing for worse then actually done. Nontheless, he goes forward, rushing to his friend\'s aid.

\"Hail Gondor!\" swift is the rush, the squire almost bashing forward, not much time his new opponent is given to get aware of his presence. The blade is moved, a fierce slash from left to right, directed at the dark form being Morrandir\'s opponent.

You attack Spinnekop with your Longsword...

Your attack against Spinnekop moderately wounds her!

The axe does not strike Morrandir where intended, instead cutting into his thigh. Not deeply, but enough to draw blood. As Rowaen attacks Spinnekop Morrandir looks at him sharply, his gaze containing almost the same anger he had previously directed at the orc. \"Leave us.\" he growls to the Nimothan, a malice in his voice seldom aimed at a friend. He attacks the orc again, swinging his blade towards Spinnekop\'s head.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and badly wounds her!

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Reeling back from two blows, the uruk\'s life is saved by her armour, and then her helmet, though she stumbles slightly, almost falling to the ground. Anger clouding her vision, the she-uruk concentrates on the one who was here before.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but Morrandir parries the attack with his Longsword!

Astonished would be the right word to describe the expression now upon the young Nimothan\'s face. Grim comes his reply, stepping away instantly. \"So you still intent to be foolish in regard to battle, silly beliefs in valor and glory, tis about LIVES!\" grasping heavily for breath, the rushing around with a wound, now taking it\'s toll, Rowaen steps further away, eyes glimmering with disapproval. Still... harsh he speaks now. \"If it is truly death you seek... then go ahead, and let me not be in your way...\" Away he turns, his blade\'s fury directed at other opponents, leaving Morrandir to his own.

[Morrandir(#24549)] \"Rowaen, I...\" Morrandir shouts as the blue-squire departs. His apology is cut short as the battle-axe swings towards him once again. He dodges the blow, and has another attempt at cutting down his opponent.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Almost falling from her feet, the she-uruk stares in disbelief at the humans idiocy, and his swordsmanship, as it passes over her head, which admittedly is lower, hunched upon herself from the wounds. An axe blow is aimed for the humans face yet again, hoping to make him leave the battle.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but Morrandir parries the attack with his shield!

Not a real chance the remaining orc, besides Morrandir\'s opponent, has, a guard still proving to be a fierce fighter. Already Rowaen starts making his way towards the fellow Gondorian, yet after five steps he witnesses the man thrusting his sword deep within the orc, a grim smile around the Gondorian\'s lips. Pulling free the steel he spits upon the corpse, leaning heavy on his sword, now placed upon the ground for support. \"Die worthless maggot!\"

Nervous is the glance of the Nimothan, glancing again at Morrandir, mind in doubt in how he should act. A weary sigh finally leaves his lips, answer apparently found. Gesturing towards the remaining untouched guard, to attend his wounded comrads, the squire turns, grim his approach, grave his expression. \"Morrandir! No opponent remains but yours, stop your senseless bickering and let us finish this battle together!\"

[Spinnekop(#24523)] Clang. The sound resounds through the area, an echoing force of power, as the humans sword hits Spinnekops helm. The aforementioned helm, is now forcefully placed upon the creatures head, stuck, if you will. Roaring with, nearly blind, anger, she retaliates purely by instinct, aiming high once more.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe, but she misses by a hair.

[Morrandir(#24549)] The axe goes wild, missing Morrandir completely. \"Silence!\" he shouts in reply to Rowaen\'s offer. He continues to fight, rejecting any help, and clearly determined to win on his own. He hacks at the orc, the blood still streaming down his chin.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] The weaving movements of the orc pay off, admittedly unwittingly. As the sword slices past her ear, Spinnekop raises the axe for a final blow, aimed for the tarks head with all her might, and the flat of the blade to hit.

Spinnekop attacks Morrandir with her Battle Axe and moderately wounds him!

[Morrandir(#24549)] Morrandir attempts to dodge the blow, but he fails. The axe bites his shoulder, and his collar-bone splitting with a resounding crack. He moans, and curses loudly. Yet he stands resolute, a determined gleam in his eye. Again, he strikes.

Morrandir attacks Spinnekop with his Longsword and terribly wounds her!

\"Morrandir, are you daft!\"

Loud is the rebuke, coming from Rowaen, slowly approaching, one leg limping, bothered more and more by the still unattended wound. The strike of the dark creature he takes note off, gaze freezing as it connects. Blinking grimly he continues his pace towards the two, softly muttering ill-words in the other squire\'s direction.

[Spinnekop(#24523)] The fight leaves her eyes, and the she-uruk falls to the ground, barely breathing, and wounded severely. Blood stains the pelt she wears, and flows freely across the axes blade. Lying upon the ground, she makes a pathetic figure, of vanquished war.

Seeing the opponent fall, sharp comes the call from Rowaen, as if fearing his fellow-squire would be at this moment senseless and without clear judgment. \"Morrandir! The creature is defeated! It forms no threat anymore... leave it at that..\" His movements halt, now gazing silently at the squire and the bleeding figure upon the ground...

Soft is the sound of steel, falling useless to the ground, Rowaen dropping both shield and sword, eyes mixed with darkness aswell confusion, a slight trace of sadness even...

[Morrandir(#24549)] Morrandir grins as the orc falls to the ground. He stands for a moment, reflecting upon his victory. His head bowed, hair hanging across his face, blood dripping from his wounds, it is a grim sight indeed. He spits upon the orc, and looks across to Rowaen. \"As you wish.\" he mutters, wiping his blade upon the creature\'s clothing, he then sheaths it. Casting one final pitiless glance at the orc he walks across to Rowaen. \"Let us leave this place.\"

\"Guard! Morrandir and I shall look after the wounded, you are still in good health, please run towards the camp and get healer\'s aid! More men to finish the scene... The battle is over...\" Weary Rowaen seems, words spoken strong, contradicted by both glance and expression. Almost unwilling he bends low, picking up both his sword and shield.

\"Maegalfuur, piercing as ever...\" is the soft muttering Rowaen speaks, sword held before his eyes, turned several times, all blood swiped away of the glimmering steel, cleaning the sword before returning it to the sheath on his belt. And slowly he starts making his way towards the two other wounded men, a beginning smile forming around his lips, back now fully turned at the battle past...

[Morrandir(#24549)] As Morrandir approaches Rowaen a frown appears upon his brow. \"I am sorry...\" he says at length. \"I don\'t know what came over me. When I fight I just...lose control...\" He rubbs his shoulder, and looks across to the wounded guards. \"If not for this wound we could have carried him back.\"

As the other squire speaks to him, Rowaen turns slightly, glancing over his shoulder at the havened figure of Morrandir. Nothing he speaks in reply to the white squire, only a cold gaze is given, one deadly calm, expression emotionless. Unwilling, but still doing so, Rowaen looks to the place where Morrandir\'s opponent sank down in defeat. A shock passes his fair complexion... both brows are first raised then lowered in a dark glance. For the dark shape... it was gone...
