East leads to Long Plain.

Tivadar turns his horse only in time to see the warg in mid air, in a failed attempt to dodge the warg hits his side hard almost knocking him off his steed, staing firmly on it he quickly spins around and swipes down at the warg. Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

A Camp of Men(#15235Qae) Many tents are gathered here, many makes and shapes and sizes, but long before one draws near to the tents, one must pass a ring of well-spaced and well-armed sentries. A picket if you will, surrounding the grazing horses and conglomeration of tents. Near enough and the great variety of standards can be recognized -- standards for just about every clan and drihten of Rohan and a good representation of Gondorian flags as well. Untold numbers of men could inhabit such a camp, and come running at the first sign of trouble from one of the pickets. Contents: Ardanne Healer\'s Tent Grey Tent enter Healer\'s tent You leave the protection of the campsite.

Gwendolyn runs over to Aearwen \"Lady Aearwen are you alright?!\"

Illidirr falls forward as his blow flies harmlesly over the beasts head he curses but gets up to see the creatur injuring Tivadar and luckily missing the young Lodogran , refocused and strangely more calmer he charges the animal again .

Illidirr attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

[Abarazar(#19834)] And again the men of the Silver Guardsmen close upon the flank of the Warg, not as orderly now, but a large gap is plugged around the seargeant Abarazar as his blade, already stained red with the creature\'s blood and spattering those around him with it\'s foul ichor, raises and lowers again with an almost eerie similarity to his trainer and mentor, who lies in the collapsed healing tent yet, or may be yet found within the gullet of this overconfident beast.

Lodogran backs up frightened of seeing the slash of the animal miss him by an inch. He gulps a few times but then immediatly strikes back thrusting his sword at the Warg in a thrusting motion trying to slash some part of his body off but not really aiming for a direct spot, as his lieutenant thought him to. Why does he suddenly miss his lieutenant so anywhay?

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Lodogran attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a long shot.

Tivadar swipes down at the warg riding by hard.

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by a handspan.

[Snarl(#22714)] This warg is swift indeed! Who among these men, save Abrazar, has had the luck to hurt him? A cunning and crafty beast, its mocking yelps betray perhaps some gleam of evil intellect within those crimson eyes, after all. As his impossible twistings of his quadruped body carry him from harm, he snaps at Lodogran\'s hamstrings!

Snarl uses the posed attack against Lodogran.

Snarl moderately wounds him!

Illidirr thoughts are suddenly clouded with images of defeat and loss seeing all his friends and countrymen perform so meagerly in combat but still he fights on slashes at the creatures neck with all his might .

Illidirr attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

Stumbling out of the healer\'s tent, blood splattered all over her dress is Lady Aearwen, healer and envoy to the Prince of Dol Amroth. Her stunned eyes glance around the encampment for the beast that created such havoc in the tents, a gleam of anger rising up and flushing her face as she spies the wicked warg. Snarling angrily as she strides across the camp, mindless of the danger, such is her ire.

Tivadar grumbles to himself at his bad luck of hiting the warg, turning and watching it hit Lodogran he attempts another sweep towards the warg, a gleam of hatred for the beast in his eyes.

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by a long shot.

Dolwyr continues to shout instructions as he runs for his horse. The wounds from his last battle are not fully healed, but his movements are swift and acurate... he jumps on his saddle, clenches his left fist on the reins in pain... as he sees Aearwen get out of the tent, he rushes to protect the healer from a sudden action of the Beast...

[Abarazar(#19834)] Still the men of the Silver Guard press in around their Sergeant Abarazar, their swords raising and falling with well-trained efficiency. Again a cry is raised from them in unison with Abarazar\'s shout of \"FOR THE TREE!!\" Then again the sergeant\'s warg-blood-stained sword rises and falls again toward the flank of the beast that has so heedlessly invaded the camp in the early morning.

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Lodogran drops to his knees covering his stomach with his right hand, dropping his sword in the progress. FIrst he looks up to the animal with confused eyes, \"you hit me? You filthy animal you hit me?\" he shouts confused. Then he looks at his wound, seeing a gap in his stomach, blood seeping out of it. \"You filthy warg!\" he mutters enraged. Then he realises that he is weaponless and starts to panick looking for his sword. When he finally finds it he picks it up , the handle of the blade is being covered with blood as hisn right hand picks it up. Slowly he stands up, all the while backing up, while holding his left hand against his stomach trying to keep the blood in, on the ground lies his shield ... discarded.

Stopping long enough to bend down for a moment, Aearwen raises the hem of her skirt long enough to pull a dagger from the sheath strapped to her right calf. Clutching the dagger in tight fingers, she watches the Gondorian and Rohirrim men do battle with this evil creature.

[Snarl(#22714)] Coiled, powerful muscles carry the dark warg out of harm\'s way. Springing left and right, forward and back, he grows ever more ferocious as the ring closes against his escape. Let the two-legs beware, for Snarl the Crafty is enraged! Nearly surrounded now by gritty warriors, he lunges at the neck of one--Illidirr--whose blood he has tasted before. It is a powerful leap

Snarl uses the posed attack against Illidirr.

Snarl moderately wounds him!

[Thargash(#14495)] Into the plain, having heard the noises, felt the commotion beneath its feet, lopes a large and dark wolf. It stands on a rock at the plain\'s edge and stares at the actions of its compatriots, and then silently turns and runs back towards the north.

Gwendolyn looks to Lodogran and lets out a blood curdling cry of \"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!\" she runs to him quickly.

Illidirr \'s blow again goes awry and a feeling of helplesness emvelops him as yet agian his friends\' attemps to injure the creature go amis ....but seeing the young lodogran stained in blood angers him even more . And quicker than he ever imagined does the creature leap at him again it bites into his shoulder but Illidirr does not scream he instead takes his blade and tries to slash the creature in anyway .

Illidirr attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

Lodogran looks to Gwendolyn in fear with his left arm he tells her to stop. \"NO! Stay there!\" he shouts! \"I\'m okay, it\'s only a small cut!\"

[+POLL] Announcement: Aragorn(#23126) has changed the poll to: Snarl the Warg 1, Gondorian Army 0

Tivadar turning again to the warg as it leaps to Illidirr hitting him he rides to the mans aid, looking down at him then the warg the rider makes a quick stab for the warg.

[Abarazar(#19834)] The men of the camp have now nearly surrounded the Warg that has infiltrated it, demolishing the healing tent and taking a still undertmined number of the sick and wounded. One of these men is the tall sergeant of the Silver Guard, Abarazar, and his clothes and sword are stained red with the blood of this Warg as his blade rises and falls in a delicately timed rhythm that keeps time with the movements of his feet.

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

[Thargash(#14495)] From the rock, where was a warg, the sound of a low and pulsating howl can be heard. It bounces off the rocks and trees at the edge of the plain, rolling throughout--and multiplies, doubles and triples as more voices are added to it--before disappearing altogether. This might be seen as a message of hope to Snarl.

Gwendolyn is overcome with the powers of her intense love for Lodogran and finds herself unable to stop, expecially when she see\'s the blood he is spilling.

[Snarl(#22714)] The call of the wild sounds loud and feral in the demon-wolf\'s veins! Seeking, always searching for the way out, he finds Lodogran wounded and down on his knees! Instinct propels him for the wounded, the weak link, and strong legs send him with speed for the kill. Oh, those jaws! The horror!

Tivadar looks at Gwendolyn next to Lodogran and the warg charging quickly, riding hard to them both he stops at Gwendolyn and speaks softly to her even with the wargs approach, \"M\'lady you must leave he will be fine it is way to dangerous here for you.\"

Running back to the healer\'s tent, Aearwen goes in search of any able bodied man available to defend the camp.

Lodogran does not see the warg charging at him but his eyes fixed on Gwendolyn as he picks up his sword and keeps it next to him of him. \"No please, stay Gwendolyn!\" he tries to shout, but the pain is to hard for him and not much more than a horrid moan apears out of his lips. Then he feels the Warg claw him away. Immediatly he falls over totally dropping to the ground. Moaning heavily. His right arm is soaked with blood and not much more than moaning comes over his lips. \"Gwendolyn..\" he mutters

[Abarazar(#19834)] Still the men of the Silver Guard press against the flank of the warg, their swords flashing in the sun as the man at their head, Abarazar, takes piece after peice from the foul beasts hide, and again the deft blade of Abarazar strikes for the Warg, this a blow more of cunning than the last, aimed at the beast\'s hind leg in a swift, sure swipe.

Gwendolyn leans over Lodogran crying \"No please!\"

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword and lightly wounds him!

Tivadar glares down at the warg as it hits Lodogran as he is down, swiping down at the warg in fierce anger he prays he can hit it.

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by a mile.

Lodogran says nothing, his face is covered with blood and his sight is vague. He can distinguish the calls of Gwendolyn, but what she says, he doesn\'t know. With his left hand he searches for her hand, \"please...\" he moans.

Dolwyr sees Aearwen going to safety, before laying his eyes on Gwendolyn... what in the world is the meduscealc still doing on the battlefield? He rushes to her and Lodogran, bends over his horse\'s neck, and says \"Come on, milady, you must leave. I\'ll bring your lover to safety\" and he jumps off his horse.

Illidirr no stained in blood , his own blood slowly gets up and is only propeled by anger and a lust for revenge of some kind he stands up straight and shouts in loud booming voice \" Help needed all men the the north of the camp !\" He thinks to himself were his trainer is now the own who always had the answers to everything , but clearing his mind of thought he charges the creature hoping to strike it atleast once .

[Maernus(#17520)] As the men fight agaisnt the warg, a rider from the north comes. Maernus, arriving late to the battle it appears. As he close on the warg he draws his sword. He rides towards the right of the warg. \"For Gondor! For Rohan!\" He says as his first slash towards the beast.

[Snarl(#22714)] The way is nearly clear! These clumsy humans seem afraid to strike where they may hit one another, and coupled with the warg\'s own speed and sinuous strength, he might soon win through. Heartened by the far-off howls of his packmates, yet angered by the constant clips of Abrazar\'s steel, he growls, seeking to savage the fallen Lodogran once more... perhaps as a distaction? But no, here is Dolwyr--well, one man\'s neck is as good as another.

Illidirr attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a long shot.

Snarl uses the posed attack against Dolwyr.

Snarl moderately wounds him!

Maernus attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Gwendolyn takes his hand, crying, she looks around her watching the men go down \"Please Lodo you have to get up Please!\"

Among the ranks of the Silver Guardsmen, is Cargaraf, his sword raised in battle against the wargs. His mightly sword arcs through the air as attempts to slash at the warg to his left, side stepping as the animal flies through the air at his throat. Wheeling quickly, his blade flashes in the sun as he brings it in a flat arc, aimed at the animals head.

You attack Snarl with your Longsword... [Combat(#13388)->Cargaraf]

Snarl dodges your attack.

[Abarazar(#19834)] Still the Silver Guardsmen press their attacks on the great warg, swords darting in and out, Abarazar\'s among them, as the tall sergeant again attempts to make a more surgical strike, trying again to slow the beast down by removing, this time, one of it\'s forelegs.

Tivadar rides next to Maernus as he swipes at snarl, following suit he stabs forward with his spear Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Illidirr lets his hands go to his side and with a high pitched song of steel Tifferet leaves it\'s sheath by his side and comes to greet any confrontation .

Lodogran moans loudly oncemore, \"Go Gwendolyn\" he moans, \"I\'l be fine\" he moans oncemore as he looks up to rider on the steed, almost beggingly.

Dolwyr gets off his horse, and as he does so, get slashed at the base of his neck by the angry warg... he falls one one knee, and turns around \"Take my horse, milady, and bring your lover to safety... I\'ll cover you\" he takes an angry look at the warg, and attacks him with his staff...

Dolwyr attacks Snarl with his Staff, but he misses by a handspan.

[Snarl(#22714)] Just when the warg is nearest to freedom, more of the accursed riders cut off his escape. Jaws dripping with the blood of men, he twists and writhes away from their clumsy stabs and slashes, now latching his jaws onto the horse of Maernus if he can--seeking to hamstring it, bring the thing down.

Gwendolyn tries to help Lodo up \"Please Lodo you have to get up you have to get on the horse\" she\'s crying to hard she can barely speak, her throat is tightening.

Tivadar quickly rides back to Gwendolyn and Lodogran, dismounting his horse he reaches down to pick up the man, \"Take it easy good sir, I can help you onto the horse.\" Taking a look at the lady he tries and offer a smiling glance to reashure her.

Illidirr breathing heavily and with neck and leg screaming of pain but his strengh is near it\'s end now and he fears that he must now do something or ...... he shrugs the thought and shouts in a voice filled by rage and anger few believed him to have . \" DIIIEEEEEE BEAST ! He slahes with all might still left in him hoping to have impact .

Illidirr attacks Snarl with his Longsword and badly wounds him!

Gwendolyn looks at Tivadar and then Lodogran, she backs away from them and mounts Dolwyr\'s horse.

[Abarazar(#19834)] The warg getting cut off as it attempts to break for freedom allows the men of the Silver Guard to again turn with it and attack, their sergeant Abarazar Khibilroth taking the lead as his own blade again strikes toward one of the beast\'s paws. His sword is stained by the creature\'s blood already, and he begins to curse a stream of profanity that would do his commander, Azragath Khozadan, proud.

Lodogran bites on his lips as he straigthens himself. Shoudln\'t be a wuss near Gwendolyn ... he whispers to himself as he looks to the horse. His left hand he uses to cover the bleeding gap in his stomach and his right hand hangs loosely next to his body. He walks over to the horse slowly and tries to get on it but instead drops oncemore to the ground moaning with pain. Though as if a miracle he immediatly picks himself up and swings himself over the horse. There he sits loosely, waiting for Gwendolyn.

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword and badly wounds him!

Moving quickly as he sees Dolwyr drop to one knee, Cargaraf stands with his sword drawn, ready to strike if the warg should decide to attack the man before he gets to his feet. A fierce smile curves his lips as he sees Illidirr\'s longsword slash into the warg. His sword held in both broad hands, Cargaraf slashes his blade forth for his own hit on the creature.

You attack Snarl with your Longsword

[Maernus(#17520)] As the warg attacks his horse, Maernus tries to turn his horse and attacks the warg as his own horse is being hit, \"Die foul beast!\" He says as he stabs his sword straight down towards the warg.page

Maernus attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair. Tivadar nods to the two on the horse quickly remounts his and rides hard to the warg swiping down as he goes by.

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear and badly wounds him!

[Mardamir(#27388)] Around the crushed remains of one of the camp\'s tents comes a small force of men clad in green. Tall and terrible, with faces grim set upon the death before them. Among them is Mardamir, drawing his sword as they join the ranks of the guards and riders that surround the great beast, and a warning issues from his lips as it lunges for the neck of one man\'s horse, \"Ware!\", he cries as he comes upon the creature, thrusting his sword at the thick muscled shoulder of it as others make seek their own marks.

[Snarl(#22714)] The beast does not die from Illidirr\'s attack, though it surely wounds him--the freshest of his wounds adds even more blood now, matting his fur. Most of the disgusting stuff is that of his foes, though--and as they close the ring about him, he leaps for his tormentor! Teeth flash, and the noxious breath of the evil warg is in Illidirr\'s face...

Mardamir attacks Snarl with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

Dolwyr moves quickly to hit the warg once more, and takes a look behind him, seeing Gwendolyn trying to put Lodogran on his feet \"quick, milady, I don\'t know if we can hold him off! Get to safety while you still can!\" he waives high his staff, before describing a wide arc...

Dolwyr attacks Snarl with his Staff, but he misses by a handspan.

Snarl uses the posed attack against Mardamir.

Snarl moderately wounds him!

Tivadar grins as most of the mens weapons finally fall onto the fowl beast, turning his horse for another run a new light for battle rages inside him.

Jabbing the end of his sword in at the side of the warg, Cargaraf twists the blade in an effort to thrust through the creature. Cold eyes watching the blood dripping from the beast, determination written on his face as he attacks.

You attack Snarl with your Longsword.

Snarl dodges your attack.

Gwendolyn rides far from the battle bringing Lodogran with her to safety.

[Abarazar(#19834)] Again the Silver Guard whirl in unison with the Warg, a deft dance do they play out as their blades streak out towards the beast as it draws near to each of them individually. Abarazar\'s blood clouded blade again strikes out at the legs of the great warg, the true tormentor in the camp.

Abarazar attacks Snarl with his Longsword and severely wounds him!

Tivadar attacks Snarl with his Spear, but he misses by a handspan.

Tivadar rides past the warg in complete confusion on how he missed it, stoping next to the silver guard he turns and glares at the warg.

[Snarl(#22714)] In the middle of it all, the warg, bloodied and battered, has given far more than he\'s gotten. The blood of a half-dozen men has spattered his lupine lips, and the healer\'s tent has been hamstrung. Struck and struck again, he lifts his head and howls, long and hard--even while howling, hurling himself at Abrazar, his chief foe, in a final lunge of death!

Snarl uses the posed attack against Abarazar. Snarl lightly wounds him!

Tivadar quickly turns to attack the warg as it leaps to Abarazar, bring his spear hard forward in a frierce attempt to stab it.

[Illidirr(#29778)] As Illidirr blade bites into the warg\'s flesh it\'s almost asif newe life flows into himand he fells strengh welling up inside of him and seeing his trainer arriving gives him even more hope he , stands up and charges again hoping to put the creature down for good as it\'s attackiing Abarazar .

Snarl collapses to the ground, defeated by Tivadar!

[Snarl(#22714)] Snarl runs off bleeding and whimpering to die.

Lodogran after being ridden far enough Lodogran imediatly falls off the horse, without waiting for it to stop, his body reaches the ground with a large thud, much similar as to a bad of potatoes being swung around. He doesn\'t move himself but just looks at Gwendolyn. His visage is blurry and his whole body is soaked in blood and filth. Darn it was such a nice uniform he moans. Maernus jumps off his horseand lands on his bad leg. He tries to roll, but hits with a thud. He turns his sword and uses it to help him stand up again. As he is standing he takes some time to look around.

Gwendolyn stops the horse and jumps off she holds Lodo and cries into his chest \"Please don\'t die lodogran!\"

[Abarazar(#19834)] The wound the sergeant received in the creature\'s death throes is but a scratch on the tall man\'s arm, and as the beast is felled, he lets forth a mighty cheer, \"TO THE LAIR!!\" The men of the Silver Guard echo this cheer, \"TO THE LAIR!!

[+POLL] Announcement: Grima(#24191) has changed the poll to: Tiv: 2 Snarl-the-Warg: 1

Lodogran tries to smile as oncemore he searches for Gwendolyn\'s hand. trying to squeeze it with whatever power remains in him. \"I\'l be fine..\" he smiles.

Dolwyr sees the beast fall to the ground, and waives his staff in the air \"For the King!\" he shouts \"For the Swan! The warg is defeated!\" he takes a circular look across the camp, and walks toward Lodogran \"We need a healer here!\"

Illidirr Drops his sword and runs towards Tivadar his newest friend shouting \" ELmor ! Elmor !you kill it kill it !!\"

[Abarazar(#19834)] The wound the sergeant received in the creature\'s death throes is but a scratch on the tall man\'s arm, and as the beast is felled, he lets forth a mighty cheer, \"TO THE LAIR!!\" The men of the Silver Guard echo this cheer, \"TO THE LAIR!!\" And some of them begin to mill about, but not Abarazar. Abarazar takes the head of the beast in one mighty sweep of his sword, holding it on high, he calls out, \"To the champion goes the trophy!\" He tosses the head at Tivadar\'s feet with a grin, \"Now friends. Now is the time! Bandage your puny warg-scratches and gather up the men! It is time to fight!\"

Raising his sword in the air and voice cheering loudly, Cargaraf chants Tivadar\'s name. His normally solemn face alight with the pleasure of one warg dying under the Rohirrim\'s blade. Slapping him on the back, \"Job well done, my friend\"

Tivadar is amazed that his stab hits the warg, as the spear peirces through it he lets out a firm cry across the field of battle, \"For Theoden king and the Swan!\" with that he grins as the warg hits the ground dead.

Tivadar grins at the man as he runs up to him screaming you kill it, you kill it, Yep its dead but we are far from done, To the Lair!

[Maeghan(#29549)] Peering out of the remains of the healers tent, Maeghan\'s fearful frown changes to a whoop of joy!, \"Ding Dong the Warg is dead!\", she grins and heads fully out of the tent. Her smile turns to a frown as she sees the wounded. Knowing that victory always comes with a price, she sighs and goes to assist the wounded with the best of her care.

Illidirr face canges from joy to pain as he realises that he is badly injured he shouts \" healer needed , healer needed ! \"

Gwendolyn grips Lodo\'s hand and kisses his lips softly \"stay with me Lodo help...

Lodogran smiles, feeling her lips. He gently caresses her hand with his thumb. \"Gwendolyn ... \" he whispers.

Dolwyr waves in Maeghan direction as he sees her walking out of the tent \"Here milady, we have a wounded!\" He bends over Lodogran and says \"You\'ll be fine, brave one, do not worry\" he raises his head and looks in Gwendolyn\'s eyes \"Everyting will be fine, you have my word on that, milady\" and stays at the wounded\'s side, untill a true healer comes.

[Maernus(#17520)] As maernus stands again, he finishes looking around, \"One warg...one warg did all of this? Was the camp taken by suprise?\" He says and looks towards his horse, \"I think I\'m walking to the lair...\"

Lodogran smiles soflty at the voice talking to him, but not a second does he look at it, as his eyes stay fixed on Gwendolyn\'s...

[Maeghan(#29549)] The healers busily begin to tend to the wounded. Maeghan makes her way to Lodogran\'s side and says briskly, \"All will be well...let us move him to the tent..\", already healers have claimed another tent as theirs, and the wounded are being placed there, \"And we will take his armor off so that we can better examine the extent of his wounds..\", she smiles comfortingly to Lodogran, \"You will be fine sir...\"

Gwendolyn backs away from lodogran, she attempts to stop her crying. \"goodbye my love\"

Lodogran tries to speak normal but fails pittily. \"of course I will ....\" then he lets go of Gwendolyn as he turns his attention to the healer. kill.\"

You see before you a tall, lithe man. His cold grey eyes penetrate with a chilling probe. He has raven locks streaked with strands of silver as it flows past his broad, muscular shoulders. His face is smooth, handsomely hard, as if chiseled in marble. Difficult to place an age upon his face, the usual stern look that is deceptively aging, can be replaced by a younger, carefree expression when a rare smile flits across his face. A long black coat swings open to allow a glimpse of studded-leather armor from beneath his surcoat. Across his chest, blazes a silver shield, with the White Tree of Gondor in the upper right hand corner. A band upon his right arm, finely embroidered in silver and royal blue thread, bears the signet of the Tailor\'s Guild of Minas Tirith. Dark black breeches fight snugly as they taper to his highly polished boots. On his right hip is strapped a longsword in scabbard.

[Abarazar(#19834)] The men of the Silver Guard who are wounded begin to move toward the felled healer\'s tent, and quickly orders are given to right it in the aftermath of the warg\'s attack on the camp. Now to the fore of the assembled Silver Guardsmen -- the ones still able to fight -- strides Abarazar. Gondorians and Rohirrim alike are lining up in droves to make the final assault on the lair after the grand audacity of the beast that has just been slain in the center of the camp. At the leaders\' signal to move forward, the Silver Guardsmen move as one with the hastily assembled fighting force, heading off in the direction of the warg lair, only just reportedly known to these men.

[Colinor(#29577)] And already to the north, waiting with two columns of men himself, is Colinor. He sits astride Werrebrand, his spirited, gray stallion, surveying the Silver Guardsmen who approach. His face is devoid of expression, cool death writ upon features that could notmally be termed sunny.

Along the Slopes of the Misty Mountains You stand on the lower flanks of the Misty Mountains, where the lightly forested slopes level off to meet a long plain comprised of small copses and grasses hovering between life and the withering heat of the summer. Gazing far to the east across the afternoon plain, you can barely make out the line of the river Anduin. A rough path leads up and northwards along the range. Contents: Indilzar Huan, Wolf-Hound of Dol Amroth Illidirr Tivadar Colinor Maernus Dolwyr Abarazar Thargash Freki(#26574QVaeMpwB) Obvious exits: A mountain path leads to A path along the flanks of the Misty Mountains. South leads to Long Plain.

[Thargash(#14495)] Though it is the afternoon, it is dark and cloudy in this section of the mountains. Cold winds of bitter air swing around the branches of dying trees, and gasp as they sigh through rocks in the immediate area. All is still and mournful here, the air thinner than it was just below. Nothing moves. A large series of rocks frame the entrance to this dismal place, covered with lichen--nothing so green as moss.

[Indilzar(#10108)] From the South comes the sound of horns and the hunters of Indilzar ride forth. Before them, the hounds of Huan stride smelling the air. He comes up calling out, \"Who is in command here?\" Orrius steps out of the cave in the canyon wall.

[Tivadar(#29450)] Leaving his horse behind it somewhat wore out with the first battle with the wargs, Tivadar walks forward blood dripping off the tip of his spear, hearing the question of whom is command here he decides against answering though knowing he took semi command of some of the men in the south he waits for another to answer.

[Abarazar(#19834)] A tall sergeant steps out from the men of the Silver Guard, \"Sergeant Abarazar Khibilroth speaks for the Silver Guard assembled, Lord Bragollach.\" Similarly, a sergeant of the Minas Tirith Guard steps forward and makes his presence known. It seems that within this hastily gathered force of men, that there are many in command. Illidirr feeling unsafe without his balde unsheathed draws his blade slowly with a metal ring echoing down the cavern . He then walks to his friend Tivadar and stands next to him greeting him with a forced smile while trying to hide his pain .

[Maernus(#17520)] Also walking in from the south is the former man at arms Maernus. His leg slightly bloody, from the blood of his horse. As he comes from the south he still seems slightly amazed at the descrution that one warg created at the camp.

[Indilzar(#10108)] \"Oh the grevious woe of ages!\" cries Indilzar the Bragollach. \"Is there no man here who would speak or are you stricken dumb by Morgul spells.\" He reigns his horse to a halt and Huan comes by his side, \"Again...\" He now pauses and says slowly, \"Sergeant-of-Arms Abarazar Khibilroth, I am Indilzar the Bragollach. Lately I have returned from the plains with my hounds and Men only to hear of the fell tidings abroad. Now we have little time to lose. Huan here is the best hound in all the land and he will now catch there scent to bring us forth to their wicked lair.\"

Dolwyr slips his finger on his neck, slightly feeling how deep the wound he just suffered is. He takes a circular look, taking a time to look at every one\'s face, feeling how tense matters have become. He rides on Tiracryl, his faithful mare, holding the reins in his left hand, and keeping hold on his staff withh his right. At Lord Bragollach\'s words, his looks falls upon Colinor, and he smiles.

[Maeghan(#29549)] Upon the bronze warhorse rides the firey haired healess, having dealt with the most extreme emergancies, she leaves them within Aelspeth and Kerowyn\'s capable hands. Maeghan remains silent, seated upon her stallion awaiting need of her skills. She frowns faintly and pulls a bandage out of one of her saddlebags, she rides over to Dolwyr, \"Here...you appear to have need of this..if you need me to wrap it, just inform me...\"

[Abarazar(#19834)] With a grim smile, Abarazar replies, \"Very well, then Lord Indilzar Bragollach. Let the hound Huan lead us, for his skill at nose and fang is well known to the men of the Silver Guard. Let us hope that he smells out any traps that shall be laid before us.\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] \"Huan!\" barks Indilzar. \"Now has the hour come for you to do what you were born for! Bring us to the heart of evil.\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] The great hound leaps up and lets loose a fiercesome bay that seems to shake the stones of the hills. About him the lesser hounds yelp in glee and then they dash forth followed behind by the knight Indilzar.

Dolwyr smiles at Maeghan \"thank you, milady. Thank you very much. But I fear that I wouldn\'t bandage my wound in the proper manner, because I can\'t see it\" he raises his pony-tail, uncovering the wound on his neck \"Do you see it, milady? How bad does it look?\"

Maeghan nods and smiles, \"It is not life threatening...\", gently she wraps the bandage about Dolwyr\'s neck and knots it off, \"There you are sir...fit to kill many a Warg...\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] The hounds come by the entrance to the cave and bark at it. Indilzar then says, \"It is here! But pause a moment, valour is one thing, but it would be fool hardy for us to go in there where wolven eyes may hunt us.\"

[Thargash(#14495)] As the hounds burst forth and the men come, a small group of wargs appear, slinking out of an area behind one of the larger rocks. Within moments the largest of them, a great black dog that looks as angry as any have ever of his kind, has appeared before the men...Indilzar and others. A baying can be heard from not only the hounds, now... .

Thargash +shouts \"(howl)\"

[Indilzar(#10108)] Huan leaps forth and thence a great cry comes echoing over the stones and in the baying of Huan of Amroth is the cry of the sea. But in the voice of the wargs are the bitter wheels of torture of Barad-Dur.

[Aelspeth(#20246)] Upon the heels of the main party rides hard a smaller group, the healesses of the Mark having finally freed themselves from their duty within the camp to tend to another. They catch up to their companions just moments before the first chilling howl lifts upward. Amongst them, at their fore, Aelspeth brings her mare to a halt, eyes scanning the area as the lady takes stock of the terrain and the positions of those about her.

[Maernus(#17520)] Not being able to keep up with mounted men, Maernus falls behind the main body of the riders. He holds his sword and stays towards the left of the collumn, however, watching for an ambush.

[Abarazar(#19834)] The men of the Silver Guard ride on, led by their tall sergeant, Abarazar Khibilroth, who now spreads his men out behind the Lord Bragollach and his hounds, ever forward these horsemen come, even as the great black warg howls. Mail and spears and swords would gleam among them if the sun were out, but instead, all that is reflected is the dull grey cloudy sky.

[Thargash(#14495)] The giant warg that stares at the approaching men, flanked by others, growls and snaps, snorting in its vociferous anger at the men that have arrived. Pawing at the ground in a territorial guesture, it yips loudly for the other wargs to hear it--and rushes toward one of the more defenseless and wounded riders, flying through the air to knock him flat on the ground. The other wargs attempt to follow suit... .

[Indilzar(#10108)] Huan of Amroth siezes one of the lesser wargs by the throat and slays it silently. Standing over the corpse Huan growls long and low, prepared for battle.

Colinor has been tot he lair before...just a day ago, and he and his men climb, upon their mounts, a rocky, jutting path which is far from easily navigable. He keeps hsi men behing him, in neat rows, though it is clear that he has no need of the hounds to find the lair, for he makes a straight line for the dark, murky, and rancid hole, spear at the ready.

[Thargash(#14495)] With no one to stop him in all the remaining uproar, Thargash rips out the rider\'s throat and does more ghastliness to him. Then, covered in sticky blood, he stands up and looks for what would be his next victim, growling furiously as his kin defend their home.

[Bzjokze(#28711)] The tromping stops as the creatures make their way out of the end of the tunnel, the lead Dush warrior looking around and squinting abit as his eyes adjust to the light. The others, unfortunatly are unable to see all too well and cover their eyes with their hands, looking around like moles who\'ve just been forced out of their hole. Bzjokze\'s hand is held off to his side as he tries to keep them quiet, and find the source of the problem.

[Aelspeth(#20246)] They are not warriors, they are healers.. and the ladies of Rohan that have come to tend the fallen that might be too badly injured for transport back to the camp, take up a position at the gathered company\'s flank. Aelspeth selects a low rise, overlooking the greater part of the men, and there the four of them await.. whatever might happen, still mounted upon their wary horses.

[Thargash(#14495)] Nothing left to stop him again, Thargash leaps upon another poor soldier and knocks him on the ground. Quickly /he/ is dead also--at least severely wounded... .

[Deorwine(#19482)] As the forms of kinsman disappear into the murky depths of the cavern mouth, Deorwine tightens his shield straps and with a ringing of steel in martial mirth his blade slips free of rest and with a set jaw strides for the cavern, yet he does not enter for the appearance of foes that may come upon the men in the caves from behind is ill indeed, and so instead he pauses at the very mouth of the darkness itself and turns his back to it, setting himself staunchly there as a doorward of sorts..

[Freki(#26574)] With a snarl of defiance, the great warg Freki leaps upon the \"doorway\" from the rocks atop the cave. His great fangs snap at the human\'s neck, seeking to make quick work of this fool.

Freki tears at Deorwine with his hungry fangs!

Freki attacks Deorwine, but Deorwine parries the attack with his Longsword!

[Bzjokze(#28711)] More yelling is heard as two Uruk-hai come running up the slope, one of them holding a large battle axe and the other a mace. Looking around with red glaring eyes, the larger one with the battle axe calls out, \"For the Demon!\" And searches for a target of sorts, constantly moving.. Looking nearly rabid, they form up on each other and suddenly stop.. Looking down below towards the humans.
