Healers Tent
The atmosphere within the light walled tent is surprisingly cozy. Neatly made cots smothered in blankets and bedding line one wall with enough space in between to offer easy access to their occupants. A small, sturdy looking table with a few camp chairs surrounding it is against the other, with a large chest to one side. Strewn across the table, in an oddly neat display of disarray are bandages of many sizes, and several healing concoctions in various states of preparation. A small fire crackles soothingly in the cleared center of the floor, a pot of water aboil constantly over it. To the rear of the structure, a hanging of blankets sections off a small room behind with some privacy, and overall, the tang of herbs is in the air.

Rorgan
[Maedhromir(#29017)] A smile flickering across his face and a grave inclination of his head, and the Lord of Belfalas seats himself by the wounded man, and his speech is calm -- yet with shadowed eyes, \"It would seem I tarried overlong in the land of the Horse Lords. How fare you, good Rorgan?\"And a brief glance then to Maernus, one which lingers on his livery and splinted leg, \"You are valiant to seek to do this, Man of Amroth, but it would be folly to venture alone and unaided into these lands whither wargs and orcs prey on the unwary. Seat yourself and take your ease for a while, and I will send forth a company which you may go with.\"
[Maernus(#17520)] \"But, what if goblins have come, since the wargs have been attacking?\" Maernus asks as he takes a seat near the tailor. \"And I do not think all the wargs have been killed, they might be in one of the forests.\" He seems uneasy in his words, \"Maybe some people, should search them...\" He breathes heavily, \"...maybe...\"
[Maedhromir(#29017)] \"And thus they will do, as I have said even now -- but not singly that they might be slain cruelly by the creatures of the Dark One. And fear not, for you will accompany them if you so desire it...\", and Maedhromir\'s gaze turns to the splinted leg, \"...and if the leeches do not naysay it.\"
[Rorgan(#19834)] \"The wargs have indeed not been finished, friend Maernus, but\" the tailor\'s eyes now drift toward Maedhromir, \"without their leader, it will not take us long to finish them once a final push is organized. Our scouts should have no problem finding their lair now, and it should only be a matter of time. Do not forget that there\'s that tracker and his map as well. I would bet that there\'s a cave somewhere in the area where the fighting took place.\"\"The Rohir believe the Forest Fangorn to be haunted, and none who venture into the other forest ever return. Not man, not beast,\" Rorgan explains.
[Maernus(#17520)] \"Leeches? Nay, my leg is as fine as it will ever be again, it is just sore from a fall.\" Maernus says that and turns to Rorgan. \"I am not sure I trust in Rohir legends, they might be based on truths, but nothing can cover a forest completly, save the trees.\"
[Maedhromir(#29017)] \"Nay\", and distant now the Lord\'s gaze grows, and his voice, softer, \"they are sorely mistaken in this. The Forest is not haunted -- save if it be by the breath of ages long past.\"A faint shake of his head, and his eyes return to Rorgan, sharper now, and kindly, \"Without their leader. Indeed. And I have heard much of who it was who\'s blade did this deed.\"
[Rorgan(#19834)] \"It was not mine that finished it, though I did wound the creature near to death. The Bragollach night, Melethron\'s blade finished the creature for good after it\'s last gasp nearly took my leg,\" Rorgan replies honestly. \"The Riders have gathered what was required and hold it for me. The head and pelt are being preserved, and the collar as well.\"
[Rorgan(#19834)] \"Everything was as Sirion the Elder said it would be.\" Rorgan smiles, \"Now all that remains is the final destruction of the Warg lair so that our allies lands are plagued no more.\"
[Maernus(#17520)] \"And what will we do then, travel around Rohan, enjoying a long overdue vaction?\" Says the sable clad Maernus with a grin and a slight chuckle, \"I\'d like to see Rohan, when I wasn\'t trying to kill wargs and could stay longer and see more.\"
[Maedhromir(#29017)] \"You speak honestly, good Rorgan -- and yet, I deem you hold your deed in lower esteem than in truth it is. For could even the mighty Beren have done the task Elu Thingol set upon him and thus met his Doom, if Finrod Felagund had not given his very life to aid him, and Huan? Nay, you have done what was asked for, fear not!\" and Maedhromir lays a hand lightly upon the others unscathed shoulder for a brief moment ere turning to Maernus, \"And indeed, you speak truly -- legends have much truth in them -- yet, also much falsehood, and often, one is taken for the other. But after this -- no vacation, but a swift return to Gondor. The Steward and Prince await us thither.\"\'
[Rorgan(#19834)] As much as he is able, Rorgan nods to this, \"Interesting point, Lord Maedhromir. Do you have some kind of reward planned for Sir Melethron? Certainly the lad deserves something for his part in the kill. Saving my life I will reward him for as I am best able.\" Many know the limp Rorgan has carried since Osgiliath was received in saving that knight\'s life, and perhaps it is this memory coupled with the knowledge that it will only get worse that darkens Rorgan\'s visage.Maernus turns to Maedhromir, \"The steward and prince await us, for what? To send us off to some other war and to watch more of our comrades fight and die in battle? Or maybe to feast for surviving, while others talk of more wars and campaigns?\" Breathes and shakes his head, \"Maybe this place, or the battle are getting to me...but, but...\" He ends and looks towards the top of the tent.
[Maedhromir(#29017)] Leaning back now with a deep sigh, his cloak drawn close around him, his boots covered with dust, Maedhromir closes his eyes for a brief moment ere speaking, \"To give rewards is for the Prince, not such as I -- but none have I known who have done valiant deeds or the like, and gained no honour for it in the Prince\'s court.\"
[Maedhromir(#29017)] Many turn now, gazes flashing to the sbale clad one who speaks thus -- and the Lord too regards him -- yet with little of wrath, and much of calm weariness, \"You speak rashly, Man of Amroth -- and you break the oaths you have taken when you do thus. Think you that the Steward and the Prince seek these wars? Think you that they would not be gladdened if the folk of gondor could till their farms in peace and delight in laughter and merriment? And think you that there any who have fought for Gondor in these past months as have the Prince and his sons, and the Steward\'s sons?\"
