Escape from Harad\'s Camp
A tale freshly told of the Gondorian
Thingalad and Ceredir escape from the enemy camp, with the help of Yildirim
Crossing of Poros River, Narakshi Camps
Along the sparsely wooded south bank are a series of tribal camps which extend some distance to either side of the Harad Road. Many pale colored tents and pavillions are grouped in circular clusters. Before most of the pavillions are poles set deeply into the dry earth and upon these are impaled dried up human and orc heads, scalps, and various other kinds of grizly trophies of war.
The Harad road here has become almost impassiable with the herds of loose livestock. They are carefully tended by mounted and armed Narakshi Outriders who watch alertly. Long legged dogs also roam the camps individually or in packs and are quick to give alarm.
To the north the Poros spreads out in its wide banks, forming what looks to be an easy ford. The remains of several wagons jut up out of the water, suggesting otherwise. To the south the thin grassland gives way to desert.

[Yildirim(#24191)]
It is late in the night, and the camp has long since begun to prepare for the end of the day. Though there is activity yet, and several tents are alive with laughter and drink even as Haradrim scouts patrol the edges of their camp, watching for Gondorian aggression.
The tent of the three from Gondor is quiet, at least from outside it. It\'s flap is pulled back as Yildirim makes his entrance, saying to no one in particular, \"I was told you wished to speak, men of Gondor.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad appears out of the shadows and nods. \"I\'m told you have an offer for us in case we wished to return to our own camp?\"
[Gurtir(#30678)]
Gurtir sits in silence on his cot, watching.
From where he sits on his cot, Ceredir stands and comes forward. \"It concerns your offer,\" he says in quiet tones.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"It is not an offer. I have a debt and only suggested a way in which to pay it,\" the young Corsair replies, \"An offer implies negotiation. There can be none.\" He looks to Ceredir with an annoyed concern, \"I thought I was clear in this.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad nods. \"The terminology is not important. I understand you can spirit two of us out of this camp and back across the river?\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"If you wish it,\" he says hesitantly. \"You then have chosen to return to Gondor?\" he asks, a bit sadly.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad listens, alert for prying ears and eyes, then he asks, \"How soon can we move?\"
[Gurtir(#30678)]
The eldest of Gondorians says not a word: Gurtir listens.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"This is unexpected,\" Yildirim replies grimly. Then pauses, dipping his chin, \"Or, I suppose it is not. Your words, trickery or not, will no longer matter once you cross the river. If you wish his leave, swear your oath and ask to leave. To run is to taint the words you have spoken here as lies. This would sadden me, but will have no lasting effect. For your captain,\" he now motions to Gurtir, \"There will be effect from this cause, truly.\"
\"There will,\" Ceredir nods at the youth\'s words, and his look now goes between Thingalad and Gurtir and then back to Yildirim. \"And yet...I fear if we take oaths, we will not be able to leave.\"
[Gurtir(#30678)]
\"They leave for reasons that cannot be disclosed as of yet.\"
Gurtir speaks at least, looking at Yildirim, \"I will be glad to explain to Lord Alphros myself and bear whatever burn of rage he may toss at me.\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"Your thinking is flawed, I think, all of you,\" Yildirim notes, \"If this is your course, I must think you either fools or liars. But it does not change what is. If you leave this night, you will not be allowed back into this camp.\" He glances to Gurtir before continuing to the two scouts, \"I can escort you nearer to the river, under my guard. I think you must overcome me and make your escape then. It has been done before. It will not be suspicious if it is done again.\"
[Gurtir(#30678)]
\"And why would you scort them nearer to the river? Do not get in trouble on our account.\", Gurtir replies simply at this last bit of speech, the first of Yildirim\'s words falling on deaf ears.
\"Perhaps our thinking -is- flawed, but..the decision has been made,\" Ceredir says, with a glance to Thingalad for his agreement on this. \"And..I would not wish to harm you so again...\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"I am young and a fool. In a decade\'s time tonight will be forgotten. It is well enough.\" He reaches into his vest, removing the dagger Ceredir gave to him during his escape. He throws it on the ground at the scout\'s feet, \"Take this, hidden well on your person. When the time is right, strike it true into my chest.\"
He lets out a grim and morbid chuckle, \"Do not kill me if you can.\"
[Gurtir(#30678)]
The Gondorian Captain shakes his head.
\"Thigh. Not nearly as dangerous and will explain why he could not chase-- boy, you are one of honor.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad nods in agreement.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
Yildirim manages a smile, \"Chest. The thigh is obvious. Especially with a dagger. Who takes a dagger and strikes for the leg? Perhaps a child. No, it is done.\" He turns and pushes the flap open once more.
\"You are and I will not kill you. I give you my word on it, YIldirim,\" Ceredir says, then falls silent again as the youth opens the tent flap.
Once does Ceredir turn before he steps out of the tent, looking back to Gurtir for several long seconds, expression revealing nothing at all. Then he leaves.
[Gurtir(#30678)]
Gurtir looks at his kinsmen. A brief nod. No words.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad salutes and then follows the boy.
*********************
[Yildirim(#24191)]
It is night, the camp has settled and the hour that it will sleep soon comes. But there is life yet in the fires and tents of the Haradrim. Most notably, from the tent where the three wise men of Gondor have slept three exist, the two scouts of Gondor and Yildirim. The boy seems casual in his gait, motioning them to follow. The guards when them on as they walk, towards one of the fires, \"Your food will come when you ask for it, Gondorian. We are not your servants nor your jailers. Certainly not your mothers. Over here I think I see a pot with meal enough in it for you.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad follows behind the boy and he answers, \"What of the hospitality of your people, hmph!\"
\"Dammit, Thingalad, the food keeps making me have to run to the latrine,\" Ceredir grumbles quietly. \"The last thing I want at the moment is more of it, in fact.\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
Yildirim can only look back at the scout, sarcasm evident on his brow. He sniffs, amused, \"Hospitality. Certainly we have you fooled if you think that.\" He motions to the pot, \"Have no fear Ceredir, this dish is my favorite. The spice is strong, but the flavors rich.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad arrives at the pot and grabs at the ladle. He eases a ladleful up to his mouth and tastes and then smiles.
[Amgad(#31169)] A figure exits the tent hearing a few voices the young man moves towards them. He removes his hood and face masking for the moment. Amgad moves towards where food is being served he awaits others to go infront of him before waiting.
[Su\'ad(#20109)] Su\'ad ducks out of a tent, pausing outside the doorway to shrug on the upper portion of her armor, as if there were not room enough to don it fully inside. But she does not buckle or fasten. Rather she ducks back inside for a mere second, then carries out the rest of it, draped over her shoulder. She\'s wearing the upper portion merely as a convenience for holding it, it would seem, as her hands are full with the rest. Underneath she wears trousers and a long shirt and over that, an open robe...and completely gives the impression of one wandering around in a houserobe and slippers. She gives the trio a glance as she approaches, and seems a bit...embarrassed? Or merely uncomfortable to be out of \"uniform\" such as it may be.
With a groan, though, Ceredir puts one hand to his stomach and the other hand held out as if to ward off the ladle and the food. \"Just...the smell of it. I think I\'m going to be sick. No offense...\" he groans toward Yildirim, \"but the spices...too rich.\" He swallows hard.
[Azradi(#20135)]
Into the ring of firelight walks Azradi anAzulada. She is dressed in a simple tunic, breeches and tall boots. Her arm is in a black sling and dark bruises are evident on the bits of shoulder peeking from her tunic and up her neck. Her midnight-black hair is plaited into a single braid that falls down her back. Gold glitters from her ears.
Nodding as she passes the Gondorian\'s guards, she looks curiously at the young Corsair. \"Yildirim? What are you doing?\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad holds open his mouth and waves a hand to get some air. \"Whoa! Outstanding.\" He smiles and looks around for some water. \"I\'ll have some more of that as soon as I have a drink.\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"Just a bite. If you do not care for it, we will find something else,\" Yildirim smiles, taking a spoonful and holding it up to Ceredir. As Azradi appears, his eyes widen slightly. He looks away from her, looking towards the pair of Gondorians, \"These two think they are at a inn and expect their food served to them. I am educating them this is not the case.\"
[Azradi(#20135)]
\"By spoon feeding him?\" Azradi observes, wryly. She tosses her chin at the other scout.\"Water will only make it worse, you need goat\'s milk.\"
She glances away from the men and her gaze happens upon the other Corsair woman. \"Ah, Su\'ad!\" she greets with a glad smile.
\"I...it is not the spice, it is the richness.\" But Ceredir puts his hands down and watches Thingalad eat the food, his eyes briefly passing over the two women and then back to Yildirim.
\"Though in truth, I must eat _something_, even if my stomach protests.\" He reaches a hand out for the spoon that the youth offers, taking it from him and eating it.
Amgad goes through the line getting a bowl of the food he moves just a bit away watching the guests of the camp. He chuckles a bit to himself and begins eating he looks up around giving a a wave to one he does know.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
\"Ah...Azradi...you look fairer every day!\" she jokes, referring to the bruises and healing cuts, then she looks at Yildirim. \"And you as well.\" Then to the Gondorians, \"Good evening, guests from the North, allies in faith and intent.\" She smiles wryly. \"What is wrong here?\"
Ceredir immediately sputters, spitting the food out on the ground and coughing and choking.
\"Fire!\" he gasps, doubling over. \"Drink! something!!\" And then his hands clutch his stomach and he groans.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad fans his mouth some more and looks more like he needs to dunk his entire head into a barrel of water. At the moment, he appears to have lost his powers of speech due to the burning in his throat.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
A smirk is offered to Azradi before he looks back to Ceredir, bursting out laughing. \"Ah ha, perhaps I was wrong in my choice. But it -is- my favorite.\" He offers a wink to Su\'ad, grinning from ear to ear.
[Azradi(#20135)]
Flashing a grin at Su\'ad and the soldier of Black, Amgad, Azradi replies: \"It appears our food does not agree with our guests.\"
\"Shall we have the cooks prepare you the food we serve our infants? You will find mild enough, I think.\"
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad cannot suppress a bit of laughter at Thingalad\'s expense. She does her best, though. Once she settles down, she offers, \"Perhaps a man of Gondor might be found among the prisoners who could prepare your food for you?\" As if any other sort of man would be among the prisoners...
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"Come, let me lead you to water until milk can be found,\" and with that, Yildirim heads towards the north edge of camp and the river. There he looks down to both edges of the camp, spying for barrels or other sources perhaps. \"It is a terrible trick, I know. But with all of your complain...\" he continues to walk further to the north, frowning, \"Complaining. Well. I cannot find a barrel for you. Come and sip from the river. It is not fair to force you to have no dinner and fire in your throat.\"
Perhaps Azradi\'s barbs reach Ceredir\'s ears, but the man is hacking and coughing, doubled over. Yildirim\'s offer of water draws a nod, and slowly, Ceredir straightens, his eyes teary and his nose red from the spices.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad looks eager to hit the water, but he musters his dignity in front of Su\'ad after falling into the same woman last night and marches off slowly as best he can without giving away the fact he\'s suffering.
Ceredir stumbles along, one hand clutching his stomach, though he is clad in his leather armor as he has been since he first arrived here. \"How in the world do you eat fire like that?\" he mutters.
[Azradi(#20135)]
Glancing to Su\'ad and coughing lightly, Azradi\'s smile fades a bit and she offers, more helpfully. \"Truly, they need but a small cup of goat\'s milk and the burning will subside.\"
She trails along behind the others as they make their way to the river.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
\"With stoicism, Sir.\" Su\'ad answers Cerdir. \"And once you get used to the pain, you find that you are glad.\" She grins once more, then after Azradi\'s suggestion, she adds, \"Truly, the goat\'s milk...or rather the fat in goat\'s milk helps, as does salt.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad looks like he\'s going to start dry-heaving as he picks up the pace. The words of the women do not help.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"How can you not? I like my taste to have a flavor to it, and not one bland of dirt or leaves,\" Yildirim laughs. A bit of distance more and they find themselves there, \"And Azradi, I do not know where the goats are, but certainly I know where the river is. Come and drink,\" he says, standing at its edge, watching the Gondorians and then to their camp across the way. He peers into the darkness, looking for perhaps a sign of enemies to be watched for.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad sighs, and heads toward the river. \"I was going that way anyway...she mutters to herself.\" She glances to the others then adds, \"Here! Let me help you!\" And so she goes to the river trailing Thingalad.
\"Truly? Milk would help?\" Ceredir pauses to look at the two women. \"I will have water first, but perhaps a cup of goat\'s milk after that. Though the taste will be foreign to me.\"
He wades into the river edge, cupping a hand into the water. \"Muddy here,\" he frowns, then steps deeper a few steps.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
The Haradrim boy follows behind Ceredir, \"Careful now. Water only,\" he laughs.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad makes it to the bank and he wades in after Ceredir. He drinks mightily, scooping up handfuls and lapping them up. Looking relieved, he cups his hand in the water and sends a splash at Su\'ad.
[Azradi(#20135)]
Once at the river, Azradi is more intent on the distant bank in the darkness. Her right hand crosses her body to touch the hilt of her scimitar.
\"You don\'t have to chase down the goats and milk them everything you want a cup of milk, Yildirim. I\'m sure someone has a bucket of it somewhere.\"
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
At the river\'s edge, Su\'ad drops her padded armor on the banks. A splash from Thingalad makes her cringe and hold up a deflecting hand, but the rest of it covers her head to foot in spotted flecks. \"Hey now! What\'s this?\" she protests.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
\"I know I do not have to chase down the goat, Azradi,\" Yildirim says with mock indignation. \"I\'m only saying, I do not know where the goats are,\" he looks to her, \"So, since I know neither where there is milk nor goats, there is no chance of me finding any milk.\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad smiles at the woman and takes the opportunity to lie back in the water and float, apparently willing to let the dry air do its work once he gets back out. The Man of Gondor paddles a few times lazily before he rolls over in the water and starts swimming in earnest... north.
A sudden spasm overtakes Ceredir and he doubles over, stumbling so that he is suddenly falls into the water. Rolling to his side, he glimpses Thingalad swimming, and then he, too, is swimming fast, northward.
[Azradi(#20135)]
\"Su\'ad!\" Azradi cries out, pointing at the paddling Thingalad. With a grunt she pulls her arm out of her sling and splashes into the water.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
With alacrity matching he movements, Yildirim jumps for Ceredir\'s back, only a few feet away, grabbing at his leather. \"This will not take place tonight, Scout, while I have strenghth left!\"
There\'s a glint of some steel in the water as Ceredir pulls out a dagger that was hidden in his clothing. Yildirim manages to grab at him, but Ceredir rolls in the water, slashing at the Haradrim with the knife.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad sighs. \"At least I don\'t have to take my armor off...\" she says as she quickly pulls her boots off. Then she jumps in the river. \"Do not worry, men of Gondor! I will save you!\" she calls rather loudly...too loudly. Loudly enough to call attention.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad is from Anorien far to the north of this sad land. He learned to swim in the icy streams fed with snows from the White Mountains and here he displays his prowess in the water as he swims on without stopping.
[Azradi(#20135)]
\"The Northerners are escaping!\" Azradi shouts, more to the point. Catching a glimpse of steel in the moonlight, she pulls her scimitar from its sheathe and heads towards Ceredir and Yildirim.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
The dagger strikes true, slipping under the boy\'s ribcage, only a vest to protect him. Yildirim he reaches down to the hilt of the blade, staring at Ceredir.
\"Of course. Of course.\"
He goes limp, his face slipping under the water.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad is in the water now, swimming and cursing herself. But there is little energy or time to be wasted in such, as the Corsair woman continues into the deep of the river. \"Stop! Stop!\" she calls. Its a bit confusing, but she cannot ignore her insticts in all of this.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
Not dead it seems quite yet, the boy manages to roll onto his back, coughing the river from his lungs. He bobs, his face slipping in and out of the Poros, the smell of blood beginning to waft from the water.
Having yanked the dagger out of the boy, Ceredir plunges into the water, rushing to try to swim away from the approaching Azradi. \"
[Azradi(#20135)]
Yelling in rage, the unarmored and lighter Azradi lunges at Ceredir, sending a surge of water towards the man. She slashes out at him with her scimitar, shouting. \"You son of a goat! Bastard!\"
Azradi attacks you with her Scimitar!...
...and she hits! Ouch!
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad swims hard, keeping her eyes, or ears trained on her prey as he swims across the moving current. The banks slip by on both shores. She doesn\'t waste her breath with protestations anymore, and just keeps going till she feels her hand strike his boot with one of her swimming strokes.
Blood now flows freely in the river and for a moment Ceredir sinks beneath the water, air bubbles coming up beneath him. But he kicks up again and, lashing out with his dagger toward Azradi\'s face, he desperately tries to kick away from her and hold her off at the same time.
You blindly attack Azradi with your Dagger...
[Combat(#13388)->Ceredir]
Your attack against Azradi moderately wounds her!
[<#32030>]
Seized from behind, Thingalad kicks and looks back at who has grabbed at him. The man uses his other leg to get his balance on the river bottom as they nearing the parlay island as he calls out in a loud voice, \"
[Azradi(#20135)]
The Scout\'s dagger grazes Azradi\'s cheek and slices along the top of her right shoulder - blood clouds the river around her. She pursues him awkwardly, now moving away from the shallows. With a badly injured left shoulder, swimming is difficult. She tries to stab at the scout with her scimitar with a weak thrust.
Azradi attacks you with her Scimitar!...
...and she misses!
[Bor(#30834)]
And from the north there come a handful of riders!
Mail glistens at their chests and dark eyes peer out from glittering helms. Here, Knights of Amroth and at their head is their strongarmed Captain.
[Su\'ad(#20109)] Su\'ad finds the boot and hangs on tightly, taking a deep breath and pulling her prey closer, and in the process pulling herself farther. She reaches for the inevitable hand that she expects to grab, or attack her. \"What is the meaning of this, paleface.\"
[Yildirim(#24191)]
Already thrashing into the waters of the Poros, Haradrim on horses ford as best they can, scimitars raised high over head, glinting in the moonlight. Torches are lit on the south embankment, as guards are alerted and alarms sounded.
[Laegtiri(#30836)]
And from the sky there appears to be a sentinel ever vigilant who perceives all that passes on the land. Opening his beak with a great cry in the avian tongue, Laegtiri makes his presense known as stars flicker in and out as great wings blot them out.
There\'s a cloud of blood around Ceredir as he kicks hard, trying to get toward the isle in the middle of the river here. Twisting about, he looks to see where Azradi is, and it is this that saves him from the woman\'s scimitar. Still, Azradi is too close for comfort, within arm\'s reach, and Ceredir tries to slash the dagger at the woman again.
You blindly attack Azradi with your Dagger...
[Combat(#13388)->Ceredir]
Your attack against Azradi moderately wounds her!
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thilgalad looks up as the riders splash in his direction and he gives Su\'ad a good kick with the boot she is holding to get himself free!
Thingalad attacks Su\'ad with his Bare Hands and mildly wounds her!
[Arathis(#30050)]
Aside the requian\'s Captain charges Arathis of the Isilrim. And to the thunder of their approach he adds three blasts issue from his horn, heralding the coming of the Swan.
[Azradi(#20135)]
The dagger slices cleaning across Azradi\'s right forearm. She grimaces and makes one last stab towards the Scout, the motion sending her bobbing beneath the water directly afterwards.
Azradi attacks you with her Scimitar!...
...and she misses!
[Bor(#30834)]
Upon the Poros they charge, these Knights of the Swan and onto the struggling Gondorians. There is little preamble for what is to come, only the whizz of steel upon the air. Swords dive to aid their kinsmen!
\"Down, bitch of Harad,\" says Bor to Su\'ad as his blade descends.
Bor attacks Su\'ad with his Longsword and moderately wounds her!
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad gets kicked in the chin, but hangs on tightly to the foot, while at the same time, making for the bar where they had parleyed before. She actually helps drag Thingalad onto it, if necessary. \"Stop it! What have you done!\" She hits him with a closed fist. \"Are you stealing something?\"
[Arathis(#30050)]
Second of the Knights to strike upon women, Arathis shuttles his steed for the figure of Azradi. Yet no steel flies from him: he employs his mount itself in attempt to topple the Southron, and to separate her from the wounded Scout.
[Laegtiri(#30836)]
As the Haradhrim attempt to ford the river, they not only fight against the water but now the swinging claws of Laegtiri as he swoops towards the mounted Southerners. Unspoken motivation appears to drive the aviary in his pursuit to draw blood from the evil men.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
In response, shouts and jeers come from the south as the small patrol descends on the escapees and swan alike, holding blades from their own kin or seeking the gut of their enemies.
Amgad dashes towards the sounds no upon the air. The young man of harad moves swiftly towards. His scimitar is brought to hand as he makes his way towards the water with much haste.
Azradi\'s blade splashes uselessly in the water, but that is only because Ceredir, desperately trying to swim but losing blood, sinks under briefly. The scout does not even attempt to strike at the woman of Harad again all his efforts are toward making it to shore. He flounders, though, again and again sinking under as he loses strength quickly.
[Combat(#13388)->Ceredir]
You forego your chance to attack.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad tries again to break free of Su\'ad. \"Get off!\"
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Su\'ad is attacked out of nowhere, it seems, and she\'s surprised. She lets go of Thingalad, and stands shakily on the sandbar for a few moments, inspecting her wound. \"Faithless dog, you can drown.\" she says, then starts wading south again quickly.
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad points back to where Ceredir is struggling. \"Help him!\"
[Azradi(#20135)]
When Azradi surfaces again, it is to the sight of a large charger looming between her and her prey. She growls at the dark figure atop it and kicks away, holding her scimitar as much above water as she can. She too trails swirls of blood about her - though not nearly as much as Ceredir.
[Yildirim(#24191)]
Men come to the shores, taking Yildirim\'s body and finally carrying it back into the camp. Though too far for the skirmish to hear, there are shouts yet for healers and their arts.
[Arathis(#30050)]
Simultaneous to the jut of his warhorse, the Knight Arathis leaps from its saddle. Heavy boots throw water in his wake: rushing to the body of Ceredir, he sheathes his blade, and attempts to retrieve the wounded Scout from the waters. With this, he readies his step to lift the man over his shoulder.
[Bor(#30834)]
\"To the shore,\" says Bor to Thingalad. \"Now.\"
And upon his horse still, Amroth\'s Captain faces the torches of Harad.
\"Where is your Captain, slaves of the Enemy? I come for him!\"
[Thingalad(#32030)]
Thingalad starts wading to the north shore, but he looks back again and again, concern evident for Ceredir.
[Su\'ad(#20109)]
Finally making it back to the southern shore, Su\'ad pulls herself out of the water, cold and leaden and in the foulest mood imaginable. She gathers up her armor on the shore, checks her wounds once more, and sets off for her tent.
[Gurtir(#30678)]
Meanwhile, Gurtir sleeps at his tent, back in the Haradrim camp.
[Azradi(#20135)]
Transfering her scimitar to her left hand, Azradi swims to the shallows on her side. She regains her feet and slowly backs towards the southern bank and her own people. She takes her scimitar up in her right hand once more and watches the mounted Knights warily.
\"You have your people, go back Northerner!\" she calls out to Bor.
Amgad reaches the shoreline \"What\'s going on?\" he asks as the other pulls herself out of the water and moves towards her tent. The member of the black guard moves forward more to look about a bit more.
With just enough presence of mind to realize he\'s being rescued, Ceredir reaches a hand out for Arathis, trying to grab on and stand up. He\'s unsteady, though, and just as likely to collapse against the man as he is to stand up.
\"Dark lord...uprising,\" are the two words he gets out hoarsely.
[Laegtiri(#30836)]
After moving into the sky following a swoop at the Haradhrim, Laegtiri takes note of the men in the water with the one in the process of rescuing the other. With a graceful dive, the Eagle approaches the men preparing to remove the burden of wading through the waters to safety.
[Bor(#30834)]
\"Tell him that his reckoning awaits!\" answers the Bragollach Captain.
Naught else is spoken and Bor turns his horse and begins to retreat.
[Arathis(#30050)]
\"The healers of Gondor await, good Scout.\"
Haste alone animates the Isilrim Knight then. Permitting the wounded to stand none, he removes the Scout instead to his shoulder.
A foot is thrust into his stirrups grasping the reins of his steed, Arathis heaves Ceredir securely into the front of his saddle, ere joining behind him. With this, he rides furiously in return for the encampment.
Amgad watches his scimitar held tight. The black guard\'s gaze moves around sounds reach him beyond anything. He wades into the water towards the one figured left from the harad side.
[Azradi(#20135)]
When the Knights turn to leave, Azradi does the same. Watery blood flows from her shoulder and arm. She glances at Amgad and sheathes her sword. \"Jackals! Did someone help Yildirim?\"
[Laegtiri(#30836)]
Keeping himself just above the water, Laegtiri hovers while reaching his talon towards the injured man. To the one who had come to rescue him, he says, \"Do not burden yourself. I shall take him to the healers that he may receive aid quickly.\" With great wing beats and the Edain in tow, the Eagle takes off towards the Gondorian camp. Within moments, he touches down outside the healer\'s tent where he leaves the warrior to be cared for.
[Amgad(#31169)] \"They did M\'lady, they got him to the healers.\" the young man says still approaching. Amgad offers his support should she need it in making it back to the land.
[Arathis(#30050)]
Lifting Ceredir for the aid of the avian, Arathis afterwards regains his mount in departure for the northern shores.
