Fisted Reminder
A tale freshly told of the Mordain
What is the orcish equivalent to a kindly reminder? Why, a punch to the face, of course!
Mirkwood
The view is blocked in most directions by towering dark trunks, holding heavy and crooked boughs hight above the ground. The gloomy ancient forest seems to draw more and more strenght from you as you travel deeper. Beneath you feets the forestbottom is frozen and around you the early morning winter air is frosty.
The dim light hurt your eyes a little, but you think you can make out a gap between the trees west of you.
Few slender beams of sunshine merrily shines through the canopy, indicating that the sky overhead is clear and blue.

[Bagurat(#24847)]
The eternal darkness rules inside ancient Mirkwood, and the dusk air is chill with the fingers of winter. In the small space of sky that can be seen through the browned canopy, feeble stars shine, distant and forelorn. Down below in the forest itself, it is less lonesome, but not more comforting.
A large camp is set up here, and nightfall brings renewed activity to the orcs that dwell therein. There is the sound of raucous laughter and quarrling, and the ring of steel. And watching what occurs amid the tents, is the robed and masked shaman, Bagurat. She stands motionless beside one of the flickering firepits near the border of the encampment.
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
One of the reasons for the clashing of still is the Uruk Scout Bugzlok, for he spars with another of the Uruks.. Crude scimitar clashing against an axe. The battle continues for but moments as the Uruk scout spits in the eyes of his opponent and then kicks him over into a group of Uruks. Laughing loudly he walks away grinning evilly.
Seeing the Shaman he makes his way over towards her, not directly but obviously coming her direction.
[Bagurat(#24847)]
The beaked helm turns and the yellowed eyes mark Bugzlok\'s approach. \"Practicing again, I see? And with better results,\" comes the greeting, and the witch-orc peers across the flames. \"How have you been faring amongst the scouts? ...and with your task?\"
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
Bowing his head for a moment to the shaman the Uruk Scout says \"Yes.. I am making my name known amongst the scouts shaman.. As for our task it the trails are much harder to find then my commander has been saying..\" pausing a moment to dig his finger about in his ear he continues \"I have searched much of the forest in places our commander says the trails should be.. And find nothing.. Not even deer trails..\" flinging some wax upon the ground he then looks back to the Shaman.
[Bagurat(#24847)]
A muffled hiss is the initial response to this news, and folding her long-sleeved arms across her chest, Bagurat glares into the firepit in displeasure. Her gaze has narrowed into a frown. \"You must try harder,\" she says at length without looking up. \"You /will/ try harder. I don\'t think you need be reminded what happens to those who fail.\"
There is a sound from nearby even as this is spoken, and a scrawny looking snaga stumbles and promptly falls over thr frozen ground, spilling the load of firewood he had been carrying in Bugzlok\'s direction. A few of the logs roll wildly toward the scout\'s legs.
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
Nodding his head the Uruk scout says \"I /will/ find these trails, I will /not/ fail..\" a log tumbles and strikes the scout upon the shin.. Letting out a shout of pain he steps forward and goes to kick the snaga squarely in the face with his ragged boot saying \"Stupid fool!\"
[Bagurat(#24847)]
The thudding of wood and the shout brings the shaman\'s head back up, and she emits a nasty laugh filled with a mixture of annoyance and amusement. \"You see how many incompetent fools are among us? They are but thorns hindering the camp\'s efforts. Show the worm what the lack of ability rewards him.\"
The snaga barely manages to scramble out of the way of the kick, though it does graze him along the shoulder, and he snarls. Pushing himself to his clawed feet again, he pauses, pale red eyes glancing nervously from the robed figure, and then to Bugzlok.
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
As the snaga stands and looks at the shaman the Uruk scout goes to turn around, but at the halfway point he turns back and punches at the snaga, squarely in the face.. This would indeed have to be a fast creature to dodge this attack.
[Bagurat(#24847)]
Fast as he is, the creature is caught unaware with the scout\'s pretended turn. He earns a hard fist to the nose for his mistake, and stumbles backward with a squeaking cry. A dirty claw is flung up over the injury, though black blood still spills out through his fingers to land upon the cold ground. \"I didn\'t mean ter drop \'em! I tripped!\"
The witch-orc makes no movement, but observes silently, perhaps waiting to see what Buzglok will decide to do.
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
Glaring coldly at the snaga, Bugzlok says \"Be that a reminder to be careful /then/..\" with that he looks to the Shaman and says \"We will find the trails.. I will find the trails..\" Pausing a moment he kicks a piece of the wood into the fire, sending bits of embers into the dark night.. \"It would seem though that our commander quickly forgets what happens for failure.. He is fat and complacent he is..\"
[Bagurat(#24847)]
Whimpering, the snaga hisses hatefully through his hand, and lopes off like a beaten dog. Bagurat offers a nod to Bugzlok. \"I have faith in your potential. Well...\" she pauses, mask tilting thoughtfully. \"Perhaps your commander needs his memory aided. Make sure he pushes the lads to increase their efforts.\"
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
Shaking his head as the snaga runs off, then looking back to the Shaman, Bugzlok says \"I will see to it.. I have already informed the troops that if they are found lax in their duties I will see to them myself..\" pausing a moment to spit upon the ground he continues \"Many have grown lazy.. But I will change that..\" his eyes have an evil to them as he says this.. He is very serious.
[Bagurat(#24847)]
\"Good, good,\" acknowledges the shaman, and it seems the past displeasure is gone for the moment. \"I won\'t worry about the matter, if you shall fix it. Northward they are to keep searching. Tell them to fell any trees they can, and to burn them to hopefully draw the albai-rats out of hiding.\" She waves a lazy hand in dismissial, and she nods anew. \"Go now, and see to it.\"
[Bugzlok(#11425)]
Bowing his head the Uruk scout grins evilly and says \"Yes shaman.. We will burn it down.. Flush them out..\" and with that he darts off into the darkness outside of the camp..
