Got the Point?
A tale freshly told of the Galadhrim
Elnara, the \'tree spirit\' who had been bombarding the orcs with rocks, lingers to cause a bit more trouble for the orc-shaman.

Western Edge of Mirkwood
Under the renewing eaves of Mirkwood, the early evening sky is shadowed a bit. The ground over the whole area is sprouting in the cool spring climate.
The edge of the foreboding forest continues on in a north-south orientation, but that is about all you can tell in the early evening sunlight.
The sun of early evening shines brightly down from the clear blue sky.

The sun of early evening creeps about the branches of Mirkwood, but their spring leaves, dark and twisted, yield barely any places for the light to peek through. But the darkness cast by the canopy is all the better for the foul things that lurk within one of them makes his way along a section of this forest, not too far from the edge of the wood, though this he avoids determindely.
Occassionally, the injured leg causes Bagaglok to stumble, and he is left to claw at a nearby trunk to prevent from falling but each time this happens, the orc quickly manuevers away from the tree, and eyes it cautiously while skirting carefully around it. When he is not worrying about trees, the red robed creature turns his yellow gaze downward, searching along the ground. Currently he pauses, and stooping, yanks free a black plant from the forest floor.
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara, apparently, had not left the trees just yet. She lounges high up in the branches of one of them, polishing her sword. She glances down as she hears the stumbling and clawing at her tree trunk, a grin forming on her face for a moment before she thinks better of it. No, this one was halfway intelligent, and would not likely fall for the same trick again. Still, no reason to jump down after him right off.
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
Alas, for this time there is no Haldir to mask the scent of this second Elf. Even as the dark-hued herb is stuffed into a fold of his scarlet garb, the Shaman\'s nose twitches, and he straightens, eyes narrowing slightly. Light of foot and noise are the Firstborn, and even this orc\'s sensative ears fail to pick up any traces of Elnara in her tree. The shadow gray cloak of Lorien\'s guards may save her from detection, but there is the faint flash of metal -- though from amid the branches it cannot yet be discerned as a sword.
Bagaglok stands completely still, save for a careful tilting of his head so as to better peer at that gleaming hidden in the trees. Slowly, warily, one clawed hand reaches for a scimitar-hilt.
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara\'s eyes catch the pause in movement, the sword slowly moving so her body shields the flash of metal from the ground. She slowly sheathes it, biting her bottom lip for a moment. She smiles once more, however, and pulls out a knife. She sets it on the branch she\'d been sitting on and leaves it, quickly moving to another tree. The sunlight catches it, making it almost seem like she is still there. She doesn\'t speak, doesn\'t move, merely watches, her leather harness balancing her against the tree, her one hand, the left, lingering up above her shoulder at the second sword on her back.
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
The stealth and replacing of the knife do the trick, and the frowning orc appears not to notice Elnara\'s relocation. Rather, his sight is still focused on the previous tree, from where the glint still comes. With a long hiss of metal, the curved orc-blade is drawn from beneath his scarlet robes and held out. Toward those dark and gnarled boughs Bagaglok speaks and he laughs suddenly -- an unpleasant rasping sound.
\"Here, leaf-ear, leaf-ear,\" he calls above, fingering the leather bound hilt of his weapon, and coming to stand nigh the base of the trunk. \"No point in hiding...I can smell you, and shall find you...\"
[Combat(#13388)] Elnara wields Longsword.
COMBAT - Wielded: Blackened Scimitar
[Combat(#13388)] Elnara puts on Metal Shield.
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok] Wearing: Rune-Rimmed Shield
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara simply watches him move, her hand leaving her sword to go to the pouch at her side. She takes out a single rock and waits until Bagaglok is under her tree. She lets loose the rock, knocking the knife from its spot. She waits for the knife to hit the ground before leaping down herself, sword drawn in mid air, only to be brought down on the orc\'s back. Whether she hits or not, she dances back, the harness at the end of her arm moving to the sheathe to connect the hilt to the end. The other blade is drawn and held defensively, while the one in her true hand is held back in a more attack oriented position, ready for the Shaman. \"Find me? Little chance of that. Didn\'t smell that I changed trees, did you?\"
Elnara attacks you with her Longsword!...
...and she hits! Ouch!
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
And quite abruptly the knife is flying down, and with a flurry of cloth the Malkog hastily makes to scramble backward -- only to receive the sharp sting of an elven blade over his hunched spine. Fabric rips easily, and a trickle of black can be seen creeping down against the crimson of the robe.
Hissing, Bagaglok whirls around for a moment he simply stares blankly at the strange harness device the elleth wears. But at her words his dark brow furrows again. \"Trees? What--\" The yellow eyes blink, moving to see the rock that now lies upon the ground, ere returning to Elnara. And slowly, the goblin\'s fanged mouth twitches. \"...You, and the wretched rocks. Skai! It was just a pitiful tree-monkey that made fools of the Eye\'s servants?\" The scimitar tip is aimed ahead. \"I will make you pay for it, I will make certain of it.\" The orcish weapon is brought out for Elnara\'s side.
You attack Elnara with your Scimitar...
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok]
Elnara parries your attack with her shield!
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara gives a mock innocent look at the accusation. \"I only have one hand... I could not very well shoot you.\" She smirks as the blow comes, easily blocking it with one of her blades. \"How will you make me pay if you can\'t even hit me?\" She grins, moving back for a moment. \"You do not need me to make fools of the Eye\'s servants... they do that just fine all on their own.\" She moves forward, leveling both swords and swinging them towards his midsection.
Elnara attacks you with her Longsword!...
...and she hits! Ouch!
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
\"You do not seem to require two hands to wield a blade,\" answers the Shaman. \"Clearly, you are plently capabale of throwing rocks one-handed.\" A venomous hiss follows the double biting of the next strike, and the orc staggers a pair of paces away the shield-bearing arm is flung forward, where the claw clutches at the newer seeping wound from the twin swords.
\"You label myself and my kind as fools?\" snorts Bagaglok between a grimace of pain. \"Then what does that make you who so boldly wanders this place alone? Dinner, I\'d warrant.\" And, taking an unsteady step forward once more, he pulls the edge of the scimitar higher, for shoulder or arm.
You attack Elnara with your Scimitar...
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok]
Your attack against Elnara mildly wounds her!
[Elnara(#30361)] \"I didn\'t wander, -you stumbled- into my tree. Besides, it is your kind who poisons the forest.\" Elnara barely moves to block the blow, moving at the last second to avoid losing her whole arm. At the light wound, she simply looks down, then back up. \"Ow,\" she says sarcastically. She stays still for a moment, then lunges forward, diving into a roll, coming up quite close to the orc, looking to slice right across the stomach. She doesn\'t seem concerned about being so close if anything, she almost wants to observe the damage she\'d done before with the tree branch.
Elnara attacks you with her Longsword!...
...and she hits! Ouch!
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
Indeed, the damage inflicted by the dead branch a few days prior can clearly be seen: the right leg is nearly bandaged from top to bottom, though most of this is only visible when the red robe shifts at the edge. \"Ha!\" the orcish Shaman sneers as this third attack glances off a vest of ring mail concealed beneath his raiment. \"Poison, yesss, and rip your precious trees up. We defile them, cut them down, shape them to suit our own designs. And soon, when the Great One claims what is rightfully His land, all of the forest shall burn!\"
Amid the wicked cackling, Bagaglok moves sideways, slashing upward for the sword-wielding hand.
You attack Elnara with your Scimitar...
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok]
Elnara dodges your attack.
[Elnara(#30361)] For the first time since she\'d engaged in fighting the orc, Elnara stops laughing. Her face becomes a mask of cold fury, green eyes flashing menacingly. \"Elbereth will fail in the sky before I will allow that to happen,\" she practically growls, simply sidestepping the blow this time. When next she brings up her swords, the blows are much more forceful, once across his face, the other onto the injured leg.
Elnara attacks you with her Longsword!...
...and she misses!
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
A half-snarl passes across the creature\'s face as the Sindarin name is spoken, as though hearing that one word alone adds a little more to the hurts he has sustained in the past few weeks from elvish foes. \"Happen it shall, whether you wish it or not, light-lover filth,\" says the orc. \"It has been foretold I have seen it. Your lovely forests turned to ash and smoke...and the pointed-ears too shall die. A feast fit for a king!\"
But he cuts off as the two blades come lashing out, and in his haste to dodge aside, the weakened leg fails. The Shaman falls upon the ground, and the elven weapons barely miss their intended targets. As he rolls over to try and regain his feet, Bagaglok lets the orc-blade fly for elleth boots.
You attack Elnara with your Scimitar...
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok]
Elnara parries your attack with her shield!
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara glares down at the orc as he falls her blows may have missed, but he still ended up on the ground. She blocks the blade with her own, her pale face still not breaking into a smile. She brings her other blade up, sending it down towards the Shaman\'s arm even if she doesn\'t succeed in cutting off his chopping hand, she could still break a bone if the blow hits. \"There could be a feast... But I doubt you\'ll be there to enjoy it,\" she mutters.
Elnara attacks you with her Longsword!...
...and she hits! Ouch!
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
At the flash of another attack, the uruk attempts to wrench the scimitar-claw away but this isn\'t fast enough. Almost clear across the wrist the longsword cuts like a knife through butter, and only a sickening crack tells it has shattered bone. With the right hand broken and very nearly cut clean off, the curved black orc weapon drops from grip to the dirt below. For a moment the creature moves not, obvious anger and pain contorting features. An uneven breath is all that Bagaglok gives as he remains upon the ground at Elnara\'s feet. But slowly, carefully, the second claw inches for a pocket in his robes. The yellow eyes dart upward -- perhaps she has not noticed...
[Combat(#13388)->Bagaglok]
You forego your chance to attack.
[Elnara(#30361)] Elnara\'s eyes are better than the orc gives credit for. She watches his hand for a moment before her sword moves to press against the pocket, point of the sword digging slightly into his side. \"Now, now... no need to resort to trickery to win a fair fight...\" She lifts her other sword, the one held in her true hand, regarding it for a moment. \"I have heard it said that mercy is the mark of a great warrior...\" She lowers the sword to give a hard poke to his shoulder, pressing hard enough to break the skin under the crimson robes. \"I suppose I\'m just good...\" She pauses, then pokes again, this time in the stomach. \"Well, I\'m alright...\" She steps backwards, heading back towards the tree line, headed for the safety of her leaftop hideout.
[Bagaglok(#24847)]
At this point, the orc has discovered what a sad little pin cushion feels like, being prodded and poked with the tip of the sword and understandably this has caused him to rethink the pocket searching, which ceases instantly. The Shaman remains still as stone, hardly daring to breathe as he eyes the sharp sides of both of those accursed elven tools. But as Elnara backs away, he seems to come to life again, and after a brief noisy struggle, manages to pull himself back to his feet. The scimitar is retrieved quickly with the left hand, though it does not seek after Elf-flesh again.
\"Mercy,\" Bagaglok tastes the word on his tongue for a short length, as though considering. Then he gives a new small snort of derision. \"Great warrior? Mercy shows the cowards for who they are.\" But despite how he talks, slowly, limping, he begins to likewise move the other way -- back from where he came.
