Title:
A Lord of Taurdain, a King's Men
Played by:
Oriana
Description:
Jamis is a tall and broad man. Curly hair frames his strong face -- hair that would be in his eyes is pulled back and braided down the side of his head. Amber eyes reach forth with a sort of casual attitude to life, and his face is hinted at by a constant shadow of stubble.
On any standard day, he would be found within his uniform. It is of the natural Kings Men attire. His armour appears heavy, but for him it may not be given his size. A sword dangles at his side, and heavy black boots tread through snow, dirt, and every other type of weather to be had.
Floating around him is the trademark Taurdain cloak.
History:
Born to Elwick and Clara Taurdain, Jamis is the second oldest in the family. His older brother Devron went into the path of politics. And his sister Arla went into the path of the arts, becoming a minstrel. Jamis took a different path then his siblings. A strange path for a Taurdin.
His reason however may not be so strange. It was one fair day, when the family was returning home from visiting cousins, that the child Jamis, along with his sister and brother, played witness to the murder of their parents by a group of bandits. Being so young, and so unable to do anything, despite how hard they fought back, they could not fend the bandits off,
Near the end of the encounter, a pair of Knights Men had arrived on the scene, swords drawn and ready to defend. But it was too late, their parents had been slain and their gold and other treasures taken. The children where then moved into the care of relatives, but this event had left a stain on each, and for Jamis, it left the fight to correct the wrongs, to fight back for what is right. And it was from that moment that the men had arrived to save his family, he'd put forth to himself to become what he is now; a King's Men.
