Description:

This woman before you has a mark of youth. Her skin is soft - with light freckles across her nose. Eyes are green; as if made of emeralds and they sparkle with a sense of inner life and energy. Hair, long with lose curles, the colour of deep chestnut.

The gown she wears is fitted upon her willowy body well. The colour is rich teal, vibrant and lively. Atop of it rests a bodice; chocolate brown with a matching lace to tie it. On her feet are boots, black and worn, used with love.

Then there is her cloak, a mark of house Taurdain. And jewelry, it is simple. There is a ring on her index finger with a matching silver and gold necklace set with stones. Perfume as well can be smelt - it is a soft vanilla scent that floats around her.

History:

Born to Elwick and Clara Taurdain, Arla is the middle child - having an older and younger brother. Close was the family, until one tragic day her parents were killed. Such sadness there was, her parents gone. It was upon her brother then, the eldest, to take care of her and their younger brother. So they lived, a small and simple life trying to make their way as best they can.

As she grew Arla showed her talents; music, tales, dance and song. It was her passion, something that brought her happiness through the tough times of her life. Such a passion that it grew into a career. Though her family was not large there was a great amount of support between them all. Filled with love and understanding. Her love of the musical arts was supported and now this young and vibrant woman has taken everything she has learned and applied it to her goals, to do the most out of life she can.

To this end, she was introduced to the former Master of the Minstrels Guild, who inducted her eagerly. He had taken her under his wing, shown her everything she wanted to know; taught her, trained her, and was in a sense a father to her. And then, the unthinkable happened. One day he was gone with every coin the Guild had to their name; absconded in secret to leave the Minstrels penniless. Crushed by this Arla was taken under Ulfnor's wing, as the new Guildmaster. He helped her to hone her skills, guide here where needed. That incident, though hurtfull, helped to focus her in her drive to move forward and to help the Guild as much as she can. She has since become a Journeyman within their loose ranks, and a bard of growing renown among the circles of Esgaroth.
