Description:

This fellow has clearly been working for much of his life, and the legacy of the toil is told in his weathered hands and craggy brow. Leathery skin seems well used to cuts, scrapes and splinters, and no wonder -- he wears a badge of office declaring him to be of the Carpenters Guild. Greying hair sprouts above a stern, no-nonsense face, and he wears simple durable clothing; his shirt a faded green to honour House Taurdain.

History:

Stanric is a fellow who has spent his entire life involved with carpentry, in some way or another. They say that as a young lad he was always sanding this, or carving that, and being a retainer of Taurdain it seemed only natural that he would enter the Guild they own when he came of age. Indeed, general rumours suggest that he showed a great aptitude and skill for the work, and this rose quickly within the Guild, though it's just as widely suggested that he never quite learned how to get along with people.

Now the Guildmaster after a distinguished career, Stanric can be found often at the Town Hall of Esgaroth, overseeing Guild matters, though folks will likely tell you he's still not quite got the hang of being sociable. Gruff and stern, but always upstanding, Stanric appears to have carved out his little niche, and doesn't seem likely to change it now.

However, it is rumoured that he is fond of cats...
