Description

The glorious perversion of elf and humankind has not found its perfection in this creature, even if the skill in his making is evident all the same. The grey shadow of skin which is stretched tautly over a large frame is nearly flawless; strange for a creature whose very presence seems nightmarish enough to many to make it unlikely he has not lived a violent life. Nearing two meters in height, his head is covered with curiously patchy hair, its stiffness worked into something which might resemble a pattern to the chaotically inclined. Its general concentration is on the back of his scalp and resembles best the tonsure of certain monastic orders of a later age of earth. His brows have been singed away, and upon closer inspection (if it is allowed) bear the clear marks of one who is perpetually enduring explosive fires of some kind or other. The bridge of his nose is subtly broken as well, though his crooked face hides its unevenness somewhat. His teeth pierce a fearsome smile, distended lips black against his grey skin. Hair seems to have made inroads along his squarish jaw, but its patchiness would look comical on a more innocuous creature.

His shoulders are broad, his arms heavily muscled, though it is the rounded muscularity of those accustomed to repetetive work in cooperation with gravity more than that which is chiseled intentionally by a more disciplined life. His garments are rude, but functional. His lower body is covered with ragged trousers whose color seems to indicate they were originally worn by someone with a greater appreciation of artfulness. Despite the dust and grime they are presently coated with, they were once green, piping tracing the line of the leg. They barely fit, having been worn by a smaller creature and maintain his modesty, if he cares for such frivolities, by a tough rope about his waist, singed at both ends to keep it from fraying. He wears a vest which barely fits, its seams frayed and giving way, lending to his generally haphazard look. His boots are steel-toed, though the scuff marks which mar them give ample evidence that they are not well-maintained nor newly acquired.
