Fabcungorm Finechaire (House Peregrine)

Not officially affiliated with any of the clans, House Peregrine is made up of the family and friends of Cailte Borumha niCorwyn, also called The Seeker (Seadhna) and The Peregrine.

Members:

Cailte Borumha (PC) was wed to Ryanne the chieftain of the Bear and got upon her twins, Faelan and Liadan. Ryanne and Borumha are no longer together although Borumha has never taken another wife. He is an old but still agile, even graceful, warrior in his 40’s. He is a loremaster and one of Kiern’s Guardians. Cailte is the son of Corwyn Wulf (aka Ciaran) and Mairin the Dove (aka Miri), both deceased. In his youth he was known as Borumha.

Faelan (previously rped NPC), known as "the mad," is the first born of the twins fathered upon Ryanne by Borumha, now approaching 20 years ago. He is tall and strong, the picture of youthful masculine grace as his father was. He has fierce green eyes and chin length wild prematurely white hair. He is clean-shaven.

Liadan (previously rped NPC) is Faelan’s twin. Her hair is dark as a raven’s wing, and her beautiful blind eyes are filmy gray. Her manner is serene, and she has the voice and talents of a bard, among other gifts, one of which is rumored to be the gift of prophecy, probably owing to her blindness and unusual eyes.

Ciaran Snow (previously rped NPC) is the foster son whom Borumha rescued from the steps of Iolair Keep when he was captain there in the midst of a snowstorm and raised as his own. Snow has black hair, trimmed beard, and blue eyes, and when he and Faelan (born within a few months of each other) were growing up together, some called them the “terror twins.” Some say, although they remember not, that Snow is the image of Corwyn Wulf in his youth except for his beard. Snow is wedded to Aoife, a feather-brown beauty of the Bear Clan who already carries his child.

Laisren Meallan (Llewyn) of Bear (previously rped NPC) came to know Borumha when they were serving together in Iolair Keep, and they soon became fast friends. He has flame red hair, now softened with gray, and nut-brown eyes. Like Borumha, he is an older but still able warrior. In his youth he was known for his lightning speed, and still his movements are capable, quick, and energetic but no longer lightning fast. He and his wife Fithir are father and mother of Aoife and her younger brother Irial.

Niall Olcan of Wulf (once one of B’s Peregrines) is from a fairly prosperous (for Dunland) sheep farming background. He and his family have a running family joke about “wolves in the sheepfold.”

Teghan Teimhnin of Wulf was once one of B’s Peregrines. His parents wanted him to be a bard, but he is anything but. In fact, he is trainer in chief for Fabcungorm, a crusty old warrior whose wife passed of the last of their nine children.

Osan Sioda of Stag (once one of B’s Peregrines) is from a merchant background. He has no wife or children but is a smooth and extra deadly wielder of bow and dagger.

Fabcungorm lives a quiet and secluded life in the hills of Dunland not far from Kierkgard until their player has time to play them, if allowed. It was really fun making them all up!
