Dol Amroth

I read through this whole log and I remember RPing in this. It was a lot of fun because a) we didn\'t know what the outcome was and b) I got to play Indilzar at his most brash, obnoxious, and humorous. Please note the comic bookesque OOFS and POWS. God combat RP can be boring. Go to Hell Girithlin!

Dol Amroth: Prince\'s Castle - Central Lists

*Note- Since the competitions were held in several rooms, this log is incomplete in nature, but offers some interesting Rp of what was captured by Tamran*

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Too quick, the graceful Girithllin catches his sword of the blade of the Lamedon and parlays the rebound to block the Lord Indilzar\'s strike. Laughing now, his eyes blaze blue fire -- a step aside from Angbor\'s great sweep, and then crying aloud, \"Indilzar! Another poor Bragollach flame I must quench?\"

But the surge of combat is too quick -- Rananar is upon the other -- and Thorondur must whirl to face Angbor again, a lunge, a deadly lunge.

Thorondur attacks Angbor with his Longsword, but Angbor parries the attack with his Greatsword!

[Arnafel(#29017)]

But not with such ease will the Celebtherien be taken -- for even as the Lord of the Crimson Flame leaps to Angbor\'s side, another comes before him, ablaze in argent. And the Girithlin and the Isilrim fight together again in battle after long years.\"

Not yet, Bragollach...not yet. It is me you must strive against this day.\"

And even as the words are spoken, the Silver Knight\'s blade sweeps forth beside Rananar\'s, to strike at Indilzar\'s arm.

Arnafel attacks Indilzar with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

Hrethawyr calls out to Lossaran, \"I am ready. . upon your signal\" he remains close still.

Dedrick rushes to Angborn\'s side, then stops abruptly turning to face another who had snuck into the fray, quietly, but not quietly enough to escape detection. Snarling a muttered battle cry, he brings his blunted blade before, swinging it in a broad arc at his newfound foes sword arm.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

OOF!!!

Indilzar is knocked to the ground. He gets up slowly and dusts himself off. He clears his throat for a moment and says, \"I\'m going to enjoy watching you lose. Isilrim.\" He screams and rushes forward his sword held on high for the inevitable STROKE OF DOOM!

Indilzar attacks Arnafel with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

Lossaran finally reaches his mark, assessing the man\'s position and stance. He motions to Hrethwyr to move around the man as he flanks him. Standing now not far Angbor he takes a quick look around and spies an enemy attempting to move to behind them. \"Hrethawyr,\" he shouts, pointing to the stalking man, \"watch yourself!\" With that he takes a small poke at Thorondur, showing the Lord that he has joined the fray. \"Come Herald. Surely you can handle two.\" The jab is little more than a hint of what is to soon come.

Lossaran attacks Thorondur with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

[Laurion(#20260)]

\"Glormegil! Glormegil to me!\" Cries a fair voice in the tulmult. A small page cowers beneath the banner of the Golden Hound, clutching at the staff as the melee swirls about him. Truely no place for a boy, but the pride of house Rovacil cannot be denied.

Laurion grins fiercely and swings his sword in the air. Still, no oponent finds he worthy of his sword and there is no glory in the faceless multitude arrayed against the Girithlin.

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor turns, seeing those behind Indilzar and himself finally come into the battle. Angbor jumps backward, sweeping his claimore against the sword that was thrust at him. Parrying the blow, Angbor takes another step backward, refastening his grip upon the hilt of his massive sword. He feints forward, giving no words or warning, toward Thorondur. Just as the blade creeps forward, he swings to the side, aimed directly for Arnafel whom Indilzar faces off with.

Hrethawyr nods to Lossaran and turns slightly to check for the approaching enemy he\'s been warned about. He holds his spear ready as he watches for an impending strike.

Angbor attacks Arnafel with his Greatsword, but he misses by a long shot.

[Rananar(#18669)] With a bold laugh that pitches across the field for all to hear, Rananar dances that steel dance he spoke of, sword a flash of silver as he deals with foemen, wooden shielding sounding loud as errant blows find it. And then when the lord with the great sword turns his blow and drives for the bold Arnafel -- he too abandons the course he had taken and pivots suddenly to try to hammer a blow upon his opponent\'s leg.

Rananar attacks Angbor with his Longsword, but he misses by a long shot.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"Two? Three? Four?\" Thorondur laughs, the Girithlin lord forced back from Angbor by several assaults. \"More glory for the Princess!\" Now smiling that fey, elfin smile at Laurion, backpedalling, he ducks aside the youth -- and Lossaran\'s strike -- only to whirl and with a backhanded slash, seek for Lossaran\'s head.

Thorondur attacks Lossaran with his Longsword and lightly wounds him!

[Dedrick(#5572)] As his intended foe retreats once again, Dedrick closes with the center of the fray, watching closely for any opening ... or need ... in the fierce battle among the leaders of the teams. Eyes darting left and right, his attention is still ahead of him as he crouches, ready to spring at his foe when he can.

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor enlists a wandering eye. Such a thing proves helpful in such a combat. His eye catches the attack at his side, he steps upward, removing his leg from the path of Rananar\'s blade. With a great double-handed posture, drawing the blade overhead and over the shoulder.

\"Ahhh!\" screams the Lord Lamedon, unleashing a fierce arch of the claimore at his most recent attack, Rananar.

Angbor attacks Rananar with his Greatsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Indilzar cries back to Dedrick, \"Get in there and fight already!\"

He staggers back a step and takes a hefty swipe at Rananar\'s head while he is distracted by the cunning sword of Lamedon.

Indilzar attacks Rananar with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

The sound of steel against steel rises through the chaos of the lists. Still standing in the back, Tamran watches the combats being raged, searching for his first target. Patiently he waits, not rushing into combat, but searching for which of his team mates need help.

[Arnafel(#29017)]

The Bragollach\'s battle-rage serves him well, this once -- for Arnafel\'s blade is swept aside, and his own strikes the Silver Knight\'s arm.

Yet, no cry nor word -- back half a dozen steps the Isilrim stumbles, raising his shield to ward Angbor\'s blow -- and thus he pauses, his cool gaze intent upon the two before him, measuring, weighing...

And swiftly he steps forth then, even as Indilzar strikes at the Rohirrim lord -- and he strikes at the Bragollach, a swift blow and a bold one.

Arnafel attacks Indilzar with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

[Indilzar(#10108)]

Indilzar leaps back with the deftness of a tabby-cat!

[Rananar(#18669)] \"Riddermark!\" So that battle-cry rings forth from the tall Northman as that great blade is sent towards him, heavy with the lord of Lamedon\'s great strength. And then he dances aside, gliding aside, shield warding him -- only for Indilzar\'s blow to come, landing upon it and driving its rim hard against his jaw. A moment only he is stunned, his grunt of pain real enough -- but then he plunges in and drives at the first foe, pushing hard to put distance between himself and Indilzar and yet keep his blade within reach of the foeman of his choice.

Rananar attacks Angbor with his Longsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Lossaran gets distracted by Angbor\'s sudden departure and in the split second of watching the man switch opponents he is knocked a step back by the Herald. The strike lands on his left shoulder but it is hard enough to bruise him seriously. Wincing he turns his full attention to the Lord now, offering, \"Well, that was unexpected.\" Going into a more offensive stance he jabs left and right and then kicking forward with his right leg his swing full force at the man\'s chest.

[Indilzar(#10108)] Laughing, Indilzar says, \"Is that the best you can do Isilrim?\"

Dedrick watches closely, notices the return of Anborn. Rushing to him, blade held high, he leaps, a fierce battle cry sounding even over the din of the battle.

Lossaran attacks Thorondur with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Dedrick attacks Anborn with his Short Broadsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Indilzar lifts up his sword to make a devasting riposte with the MASTER stroke upon Arnafel\'s right arm.

Indilzar attacks Arnafel with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Back a step, two, darting beyond the reach of danger is the Herald. And with a flourish of his blade -- beckoning, as it were, he turns the weight of his gaze first on Lossaran, then Hrethawyr, then Laurion. \"Am I so fetching a target? Come, come, and let\'s see if you can take me!\" And with the sun at his back, he backpedals further, into the home ground of the Eastern Lists.

[Angbor(#9821)] Strong. Anbor is that, indeed. But fast, and quick, he is this as well. Rananar\'s attack, perhaps because of Indilzar\'s success, seems to move in slow motion for the Lord Lamedon. He sidesteps, staying with Rananar now, and pushes forward. He dips low, lift the claimore, and droping it as if slashing toward the Rohirrim\'s hip.

Angbor attacks Rananar with his Greatsword and badly wounds him!

Hrethawyr watches Thorondur heading eastward, he glances toward Lossaran, waiting for his direction.

Indilzar nods to Angbor and Laurion, \"Now my lords. Now.\"

[Arnafel(#29017)]

A faint exclamation this time, silver links falling to the ground, thither to lie twinkling in the dust -- the Bragollach\'s blow has struck again.

Back another step the Isilrim draws, his stricken arm held low by his side for a fleeting moment, \"Perhaps, Bragollach...or perhaps not. The day is not yet done.\" And a cunning stroke even as he speaks, seeking to strike past Indilzar\'s shield.

Arnafel attacks Indilzar with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

Lossaran growls as his prey tries to escape and follows after him. To Hrethawyr he calls out, \"They flee! Get two more of our people and have them follow us in east!\"

[Rananar(#18669)] Nearly knocked aside by that blow, the chain mail and the quilted gambeson beneath take some of that heavy dint from Angbor -- but surely not enough as the laughter dies in Rananar\'s throat. Now comes the battle-fury, lofty and fiercesome, and with a rush impeded only by the pain of his leg does he charge again, swinging heavy blows again and again against the Lord of Lamedon, making a song of steel to match the dance.

Rananar attacks Angbor with his Longsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

[Laurion(#20260)]

Thorondur\'s jests do not go unheeded by the Golden Hound! It is little that has kept him back from joining the onslaught on the Knight-Herald. This taunt was ill-timed for now his resolve is to press attack.

But Lo! -- Indilzar calls out and Laurion raises up his voice, \"Glormegil! Glormegil to me!\" Again, his bright voice rings across the field.

Indilzar takes a step back and bows to Arnafel, \"You are worthy. I will fight you, later.\" He then turns and slowly begins to back away...

Hrethawyr nods and heads back northward, sprinting. He calls out to Lossaran, \"I will get others and return soon\"

[Combat(#13388)]

Indilzar tries to flee from Arnafel, but he fails!

[Angbor(#9821)] \"Back!\" screams Angbor, \"Let us regroup!\" He dodges aside, watching Rananar\'s sword pass overhead. He feints forward, as if to swing at Rananar\'s head, but does not. \"Back! Back to the Castle!\" screams Angbor once more, \"Rallying the \'retreat\' of sorts. He begins to back away from the Rohirrim, attempting to gain distance where he may leave with the rest of his men.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Now returning from the high ground with a fresh corp of warriors at his back, Thorondur smiles coolly across the field. \"There,\" he says, more grim now than before, levelling his sword at where Lossaran, Laurion, and Hrethawyr all stand. \"Those three were quite eager, as I recall.\"

[Combat(#13388)]

Angbor dodges aside Rananar, and manages to escape!

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor rushes into the area, \"Well done! Well done.\" He looks around expectantly, \"Is anyone injured?\" he asks, noting the faces about him. \"Where is Indilzar?\" are his last words. Quick questions, there is little time for long debate and thought.

[Laurion(#20260)]

The Golden Hound flutters above the list, the small boy beneath it still huddling protectively around the shaft that holds it. Laurion laughs. His spirits high he sings out, \"Glory for Glormegil! Glory for Rovacil! Golden Hound for Rovacil!\"

Answering Angbor he motions to where Indilzar still struggles with Arnafel of Isilrim, \"He cannot evade his foeman, thither!

[Laurion(#20260)]

The Golden Hound flutters above the list, the small boy beneath it still huddling protectively around the shaft that holds it. Laurion laughs. His spirits high he sings out, \"Glory for Glormegil! Glory for Rovacil! Golden Hound for Rovacil!\"

Answering Angbor he motions to where Indilzar still struggles with Arnafel of Isilrim, \"He cannot evade his foeman, thither!\"

Indilzar comes last of the Men of the Fists and the Swords. He says to the others, \"I think I am the last. What is to be done now? Wait, yes?\"

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor nods, \"At least most of our forces.\" He looks about, \"Perhaps someone should invade your sister\'s holdings?\" He smiles slightly, \"Wait a while still, and then rush into the territory unmatched, wreaking a certain havoc over any that remain?\"

Indilzar considers this, \"We shall need to win the Neutral ground first. How can this be done?\"

[Angbor(#9821)] \"Perhaps we must hope that the Flames take the neutral ground, and then push into the Eagles\' territory?\" He considers, \"Alas. I think this not reasonable. I believe the Eagles will hold their ground.\"

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor looks about, \"But first, we must know what is happening out there.\" His eyes stop upon Dedrick, \"Dedrick,\" he says, learning of the man\'s name after their conferntation. \"Go and scout. See what is amiss. I do not want to be blindsided by all them, reforging a new alliance!\"

[Earedail(#17649)] A tall man, carrying a massive blunted six foot weapon, comes up from behind Angbor, pushing slightly through the rest of the fist, \"Lord Angbor. Maybe it would be possible for me to break part of the line of the Eagles? I have stayed out of things, not understanding how the combats upon the ground work as much but I know that it has been possible in the past to break the lines of my foes upon shipboard by sweeping a greatsword so that they must either split their lines or be dismembered. Maybe some group can follow me in and then break through around behind Is this possible?\"

Dedrick nods to Angbor, moving silently into the night, attempting to sneak into the Central List, hugging the wall of the Citadel.

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor nods to Earedail, \"In time. We must wait. For they are fresh, and we would not break their line easily. It is work that we can give to another.\" He smiles, \"The Flames, and if they succeed, or fail, it matters not. We will have the advantage. And that is all we shall need.\"

[Dedrick(#5572)] Still hugging the wall of the Citadel, Dedrick returns, chuckling wryly. \"Lord Angbor, if they seek to form a new alliance, they do so in a most interesting way the combat continues, as if they seek to forge an alliance through defeat.\"

Indilzar turns now to the two captains, \"Lords. The time for meakness has passed. I say we leave a strong garrison here and launch dual attacks on the enemies\' positions.\"

[Laurion(#20260)]

The prideful mean of the young Lord of Rovacil blanches at this thought, \"Devide our forces?\" Nervous tones are on the bright voice of Laurion.

Indilzar nods solemnly, \"Angbor can lead an attack into the Eagles Den. I myself shall deal with my sister\'s force.\"

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor jerks his head, not spoting Dedricks return. His face pursed, impressed with Dedrick\'s stealth. \"You would make a fine Ranger!\" He laughs slightly, \"This is well. And best.\" He turns to Indilzar, \"You think this is prudent?\" Angbor considers, \"Nay. Not if what Dedrick speaks of is true. If three of us go, and invade the home of the Flames, such will be out victory...\"

Earedail nods and says, \"If they be battling each other it will be hard for them to turn and face our forces as well.\" Earedail looks to Angbor and awaits his decision, \"Though if we do I request to be with one of the assaults.\"

Indilzar nods and says, \"Perhaps it might be better to attack one of the bases then?\"

Dedrick nods in agreement with Laurion. \"They seek no alliance as yet. Might not this tactic force one upon them. Or has our agreement with the Flames lapsed...?\"

Indilzar laughs at Dedrick\'s words, \"All is fair in Love and War they say.\"

Indilzar says, \"Another option my Lords might be to wait here. No enemy can defeat this base with our full strength here.\"\"

Dedrick chuckles and nods to Indilzar. \"So they say, though I\'ve not had much luck in ther latter.\"

Gwaiandir nods once as he sees angborn conversing with the stranger and turns to return to the central lists.

Indilzar smiles at Dedrick, \"And myself in the former.\"

Gwaiandir heads toward the central lists.

Gwaiandir has left.

Earedail frowns and says, \"In truth m\'lord though that seeds all others the chance to take the other foes out. And should any of the three realize what we are doing they may all three assault us in force and even with their forces decimated they will easily defeat us.\" Earedali frowns and says, \"I don\'t believe a war can be one by sitting on the defensive alone. But I am not as well versed as you are m\'lords.\"

\"Leave two men here and the rest go. If the enemy show\'s up, they could hold them.\" Tamran finally speaks up, \"The rest of the men can concentrate on one of the enemy teams...Against the three teams attacking, they wouldn\'t hold much and then we can turn on the forth.\"

Indilzar nods to Tamran, \"Indeed, but how many Men shall be left in the middle?\"

Sano stands, quietly listenng to the tactics being discussed. He is much too young and inexperienced, though hardy and valiant. To himself he nods in agreement with Tamran\'s words, and waits to see what shall come next.

[Angbor(#9821)] \"I wonder,\" starts Angbor, \"What shall the Flames do, knowing we have backed away?\" He pauses, \"No, you are correct, Earedail.\" He gives a look to Indilzar, \"Let us make an attack. Indilzar, Earedail, and myself shall head into the Flames camp. With Indilzar calling to those within. While attacking the Eagles, with our good pretense, shall be the rest, continuing to attack the Eagles in the forefront. Keeping the Flames at their side as allies. Before they know what has happened... it will be too late.\"

Tamran turns his gaze towards Indilzar, \"Once we hold the center, only one men is needed here for the rules demend it. Just a few men can hold the Central in case any passes by our main force.\"

Indilzar nods and laughs, \"A tactic of twists and turns Lord, though I fear we may lose much strength in that attack. Thorondur\'s team has many valiants.\"

[Angbor(#9821)] \"Be weary,\" says Angbor, \"It will not take us long.\" He grins, \"Be mindful, do not attack in full strenght. Pull back and be defenseful for those against the Eagles. For we will route the Flames and come into the central list like a tidel wave!\"

[Laurion(#20260)]

\"To whom shall go the defense?\" A question apt comes with the voice of young Laurion.

[Angbor(#9821)] \"We need no defense,\" Angbor says, \"For only the Eagles will know we attack. Fall back into our castle, those confronting the Eagles, if needed. But, we shall not need one until Indilzar, Earedail, and I push the flames out...\"

Earedail pulls his massive blade from out around behind him and smiles, \"Come let us begin our move on the enemy and see what we can do against them, in truth while tricky I think Angbor\'s plan contains a lot of merit.\"

\"Then why not wait a while longer? If what it was is true and they are fighting among themselves, let\'s wait until they have weaken themselves more.\" Tamran once more speaks up.

[Laurion(#20260)]

\"What do the Angbori ask of Glormegil?\" asks Laurion, \"What is asked of me?\"

Indilzar says, \"Whoever is left here Lords will need to be able to hold their ground against multiple attackers.\"

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor looks to Laurion, nodding. \"One man shall remain here. You, lead your charge against the Eagles.\" He nods, \"Indilzar, Earedail, and I shall move forward.\"

Earedail turns to those others left here and says, \"Does anybody wish to come forward and take up the defense of our base here?\"

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor nods to Indilzar, \"I do not plan on staying away from our Citadel for long.\"

Indilzar nods and says, \"So be it.\"

Earedail looks to Angbor, \'Better to have men volunteer to defend our base than to have others here who wish to be out following us and who might be surprised.\"

Laurion\'s eyes find Dedrick, \"You fight for Glormegil! Will you follow my banner?\" His fair hands motion to the standard of the Golden Hound and the nervous boy beneath it.

Hemel steps forward, hand raises slowly ... \"I shall remain here.\"

Dedrick smiles fiercely, raising his sword to Laurion. \"Aye, Captain. We\'ll take the middle ground.\"

[Angbor(#9821)] \"Come,\" calls Angbor, \"Indilzar, Earedail!\" He hefts his claimore into the air. \"Use guise Indilzar.\" He turns, \"Come!\" he calls again, leading the trio to do their part.

Indilzar looks at Hemel curiously, \"Do not yield, but if we are invaded, cry to your teammates.\"

Indilzar nods and surges forth.

Laurion says, \"Let us away!\" He leaps after the others, \"For Glormegil!\"

Dedrick raises his sword high as he rushes again into the fray. \"For Glormegil!\"

Tamran looks at Hemel as he unshealths his sowrd, \"I will be close by if you need help just shout and I will do my best to come as quickly as possible.\"

Indilzar follows Angbor onto the neutral ground his sword held heavily in his hand.

Earedail stands behind and with Angbor, following him in as the fighting rages before them. Earedail\'s massive practice blade, fully 6 feet long, stands before him.

[Angbor(#9821)] Angbor rushes into the central lists. Following him, seemingly, is the rush of the Sword-Fists. \"Eagles! You shall face the blades of the Sword-Fists!\" He points his claimore forward, \"Forward!\" Angbor moves forward, indeed, his gate moving toward the northeast.

[Laurion(#20260)]

Before him sits the charge of the rampant hound in gold gilt, Laurion runs fleet of foot, his sword high following the Lords Indilzar and Angbor!

\"Glormegil!\" He cries and laughs.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

A young Rider fallen crumpled at his feet, the Lord Girithlin looks up to the newcome enemies with a sudden anger blazing in his eyes. \"Madness,\" he quietly says, glaring. \"This is madness. He is not my enemy.\" And the Lord Thorondur stands there, blade lowered, awaiting the onslaught of his foe without defense.

Indilzar nods to Angbor, \"M\'lord...\"

[Dathgar(#19765)]

Dathgar starts off towards the north. Looking at the ranger once more he says, \"Argh, well, twas a solid blow..\"

Indilzar turns in his step and heads southward, \"I shall speak with my sister\'s force concerning tactics....\"

[Combat(#13388)]

Dathgar tries to flee from Anborn, but he fails!

[Anborn(#24151)]

Between two evils torn, Anborn looks from the bloodied guardsman to the greater foe marching out of the west. \"Sire!\" he exclaims to Thorondur, \"We are assailed now on either side, whither now?\"

[Angbor(#9821)] \"Let us parlay with your sister\'s Champion,\" Angbor comments to Indilzar. He nods, \"Indeed. Earedail!\" he yells, follow as we go to parlay!

Earedail follows after his two lords.

[Faengor(#18480)] The blade reaches Faengor sooner than he had wished, as he was still trying to collect his thoughts and arrange them, THorondur\'s knock seemingly having knocked him into confussion. Yet luckily, his reflexes do not abandon him and in a rush of fear the Young Nimothan brings up his shield to defend against Ceirdred attack and even when the blow is landed it takes Faengor a couple of seconds to process what has just happened, giving Ceirdred much chance to compose himself oncemore. Yet once he has processed what happened the guard quickly retaliates, bring up his sword in front of him, the tip of his sword pointing to the left as he charges towards Ceirdred, swiping his blade towards him fom left to right, wishing to hit him on his right side.

Faengor attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword and mildly wounds her!

Gwaiandir frowns and steps forward upon seeing the Rohir does not rise. He sets onto the field without armor or weapon to aid the young man.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Seeing the various lords go northwards, the Lord Girithlin shakes his head. \"If we must continue to play at this fool\'s mockery of warfare, then let us play it to win.\" And he levels his blade westward -- to the lightly defended keep of the Sword-Fists.

[Laurion(#20260)]

Spying the Eagles, Laurion cries to Dedrick, his sword pointing at Anborn and Thorondur, \"See you, that man, thither?!\" His bright eyes upon the Ranger, \"Did not your sword mark him a time before?\"

[Thorondur(#23126)]

And thus does the Lord Girithlin lead a grim and unloved attack westward.

Dedrick nods, battle lust shining in his eyes and in the sardonic smile on his lips. \"Aye, Captain,\" he answers, rushing to the center of the List to engage a familiar foe.

Gwaiandir darts in, dodging to the fallen Rohir, muttering. \"This is a game. Why do they not hold?\"

[Thorondur(#23126)]

And finding the golden-haired fop of Rovacil barring his way, the Lord Herald lashes out in wrath.

Thorondur attacks Laurion with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

Tamran stays behind as some of his team mates go North. Shield raised but sword lowered he watches the fighting before him.

[Ceirdred(#7349)] The Gondorian\'s blade finds its target, impacting on Ceirdred\'s right side before the Rider can fully sidestep the attack. \"Not bad,\" he calls out, winded for a moment only, and then steps back to lift his sword high and swing heavily down in a back-handed slash that goes lower than his first attempt.

Ceirdred attacks Faengor with her Longsword and moderately wounds him!

Dedrick stops short, just within sword\'s reach of Anborn. Croughing slightly, knees bent, he circles slowly to his left, blade before him making small circles in the air.

[Laurion(#20260)]

\"Charge and stay their march!!\" Laurion hefts his blade heavenward, the targe with figure of the hound before him. It is this that stays the progress of the Girithlin\'s sudden blow.

The Golden Hound steps back, his bright eyes smiling beneath their helm. Laughing, he says, \"Another try am I given in this hour! I shall take it!\" He swings his sword in an upward thrust!

Laurion attacks Thorondur with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

Gwaiandir kneels beside the inert form of Hrethawyr and tries to examine his head and eyes the best he can. He calls out sharply, even angrily, \"Healer!\"

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"Take what you will,\" replies the Girithlin, grimly, as he steps aside the blow. As his sword falls again for the northerner\'s head, Thorondur takes no delight in it, finishing, \"but we will not be gainsaid!\"

Thorondur attacks Laurion with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

[Anborn(#24151)]

Rushed, the Ranger finds no recourse but the dally with his new assailant. Levelling his blade toward the now-circling Dedrick, Anborn dashes forth to meet him, wind-stolen cloak flapping. And he lashes out at a pass, blade held tight in his gauntleted fist grim grey eyes flashing \'neath his green face mask.

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Hrethawyr is as limp as a child\'s toy, unexpectedly light - even with his armor. His eyes twitch beneath their lids, which remain closed.

[<#16015>] Gwaiandir mutters under his breath, \"... fools.\"

[Hrethawyr(#1139)] A thread of bright blood trickles from the young Rohir\'s nose.

Dedrick spins lightly, rising to the balls of his feet and turning swiftly to his right. Using his own momentum to add force and speed to his blade, he brings it in a sweeping arc, its blunted edge slashing toward the Ranger\'s shoulder.

Dedrick attacks Anborn with his Short Broadsword and lightly wounds him!

The shout of Laurion catches Tamran\'s attention and without wasting no time come to his aide. Sword raised he rushes towards his opponent and arriving at his target he swings aiming for Thorondur\'s shoulder.

You attack Thorondur with your Longsword...

Thorondur dodges your attack.

[Laurion(#20260)] A glancing blow rings the crest of Laurion\'s helm as the Rovacil\'s shield is brought up just in time to deflect the greater force of Thorondur\'s blow. He smiles as if to deny the Knight-Herald the effect of his strike, \"I am the greater for thee this day, Lord!\"

As Tamran strikes, so does Laurion reposte! His sword slashes horizontal, seeking the Girithlin\'s side and back.

[Faengor(#18480)] Faengor clenches his teeth as Ceirdred\'s dulled blade connects with his upper right tight, causing for a great blue spot and a lot of pain, forcing the Young Nimothan to his knees and bringing tears in his eyes. Slowly the Lord tries to get back up, clenching his teeth as his right leg burns heavily from pain. Yet after a short while the Young Nimothan finds himself back on both legs, breathing heavily, his chest moving up and down, yet the momentum is given to Ceirdred.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Like a river now the Girithlin flows, step to step and side to side with impossible fluidity of foot. Graceful even in this ugliest of arts -- the act of war -- he slips away from both his foes, between them, and whirls again. It is unexpected, the blow leveled once more for the head of Laurion by this grim and unwilling attacker.

Thorondur attacks Laurion with his Longsword and moderately wounds him!

[Ceirdred(#7349)] A glance over his shoulder as a moment for it is given reveals his teams attempt to press westwards to Ceirdred. Seeing that his current foe has been dealt at least a good taste of what he\'s capable of, the Rider smiles an apologetically amused smile, \"Duty calls me elsewhere, I fear,\" and begins to move that way instead, as if to lend his two companion\'s help instead.

The gracefull moves of the knight are too fast of the young guard, as he sword slices through the air, but that does not stop Tamran. Determined, he continues his attack against the Girithlin, once more going for his shoulder.

You attack Thorondur with your Longsword...

Thorondur dodges your attack.

[Faengor(#18480)] Faengor returns Ceirdred\'s smile wryly as he finds himself defeated, the pain in his right leg oncemore forcing him to his knees, a deep frown gracing his forehead as he peers itno the distance with his narrowed eyes, platning his sword into the ground next to him, defeated.

[Laurion(#20260)]

As the dulled edge of Thorondur strikes the back of his helm, Laurion raises his hand and cries, \"Hold!\" Smiling, he cries, \"Lord Girithlin!\" He points at the Rider sneaking toward the West, \"We could do you better by a parlay, me thinks, than the poor attempts at stealth your allies of the Wold will suit!\"

[Anborn(#24151)]

A touch! Steel on dulled steel so Anborn falters in his step, hand clutching at the shoulder that was marked. But he stumbles once, and then no more but rather wheels, taking a lower stance. A measuring moment of a foe more apt than he had thought, a testing step or two and then the Ranger leaps a step, plants his foreleg and sweeps a stroke at the edge underhand, up, \'neath Dedricks\' defence to meet him at the chest.

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

Sano arrives from the western lists.

Sano has arrived.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

The shield of Royal Cardolan again turns back an attacker -- this time not Lossaran, but Tamran -- and allows the Herald to pivot, thrusting that selfsame shield at the guardsman so he might bear down more fully upon Laurion. \"I say to you, Rovacil,\" he cooly orders the man, \"Stand aside! Lest you would join me against the Fists!\"

Gwaiandir attempts to shoulder the Rohir carefully to get him off the field. As long as he is not in the center of the melee, a healer comes out to help and together they carry the boy off onto the sidelines where the healer begins to examine him.

You paged Angbor with \'How are you guys doing?\'.

Dedrick steps lightly aside, though the strain showing on his face belies the effort he exerted. With a grunt, though, he mirrors the Rangers attack, stepping forth, leg planted firmly as he brings the blade upwards, turning still as he sweeps its blunted tip toward his opponent\'s chest.

Dedrick attacks Anborn with his Short Broadsword, but Anborn parries the attack with his Longsword!

[Laurion(#20260)]

\"Angbor and Indilzar do so, now!\" Points the youthful Rovacil with his dull-edged blade, \"For lo! They now contend beside thy fellows on the Northern list for the slaughter of the Flames!\"

Hrethawyr hangs limply as he is carried and lies equally as limply while the healers begin looking him over. Except for one hand that has latched onto Gwaiandir\'s sleeve and holds tightly to it.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"Slaughter, he says,\" snaps the Lord Thorondur coolly, now raising his blade with menace. \"You speak of slaughter and your tongue is slick with lies. You are a man without honor, Rovacil,\" the Herald fairly growls, \"and I shall have no qualms in putting you down.\" And with that, he springs upon Laurion, sword slashing viciously in a cross-body blow.

[Anborn(#24151)]

A flick at the wrist brings a quick adjustment to a swordstrokes\' course and so, it is from a strike to a parry that Anborn lends his blade: a ring of steel scraping steel, and Dedrick\'s blow is come to nought. So the Ranger steps back, reassauging his foe, then, at a moment he ducks in, making a thrust at his foeman\'s breast.

Thorondur attacks Laurion with his Longsword, but Laurion parries the attack with his Longsword!

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but Dedrick parries the attack with his shield!

Gwaiandir puts his hand on the hand on his sleeve to loosen it. He frowns as he asks the boy, \"Are you awake?\" The healers, meanwhile, get some cool water and wash the young man\'s face trying to bring him round.

Tamran takes a step in once more, thrusting his sword towards Thorondur\'s chest, \"You talk too much!\" he says at the same time.

You attack Thorondur with your Longsword...

Thorondur dodges your attack.

Laurion brings his longsword up to deflect the blow of Thorondur, \"N\'aye! Hold!!\" The Golden Hound barks in his bright voice, \"I speak the truth! Our designs were to fell the Flames before we sought to topple thee! This is the truth I know!\"

Smiling, he says, \"If the eyes of the Dark Eagle are sharper than that of the Hound, then let him speak with greater truth! He that speaks of honor, yet breaks parlay with a sword!\"

Hrethawyr makes a soft noise and flinches from the wet cloths, his fingers twitch on the sleeve and he opens his eyes, gazing up at the healers and then at Gwaiandir, whom he stares at for quite a while, then murmurs, \"I am dead. . right?\"

[<#20880>] From Western Lists , Hemel +shouts, \"Fists to me! Invader!\"

Dedrick brings the seldom-used shield arm up before his chest, the *clang: of steel on steel muffled slightly by the blunted blade. As he blocks the Rangers attack, he brings his own sword up in a thrusting motion, aimed for Anborn\'s stomach.

Dedrick attacks Anborn with his Short Broadsword and moderately wounds him!

Gwaiandir snorts slightly, \"For all they know, yes. But no. You were just beaned. Don\'t you have a helm?\"

Laurion glances westward, pointing at Tamran, \"Defend our parcel from these foes who honor not a parlay!\"

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"And you listen too little,\" the Herald quips in rejoinder to Tamran, too swift -- his own wit as quick as his feet, on the field. But Laurion\'s words deter him not at all. \"If your designs were to fell the Flames, than they have gone sadly awry. Now turn back my sword, if you can!\"

And without further ado, he springs upon Laurion yet again.

Thorondur attacks Laurion with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

Dedrick starts at the sound of a faint shout from the Western List, holding his shield hand to his mouth as he repeats the call for help

[Anborn(#24151)]

\"Ooof!\" Anborn feels the thrust not lightly but is not winded, nor either stayed, his armour belittling the damage done to nought but bruising on his belly quickly then, he slaps the foemans\' blade away with his own, him being distracted by the feeble westward cry. In answer from the eagle comes only the whistle of a blade on the wind a terrible stroke to Dedricks\' swordarm!

Tamran stops once more and glances quickly towards Laurion, but as his gaze falls once more at the knight, the shouts of Hemel is heard above the noise. Tamran looks at Laurion and then at Thorondur. \"Aye my Lord.\" he says at lenght before trying to make his way towards the west.

Hrethawyr shakes his head slightly, then winces. his voice is barely audible to those closest to him, \"no. . I . . don\'t have one at all. . this armor is borrowed even\"

[<#5572>] Dedrick +shouts \"bellows, hoping his voice will carry to hthe others, \"Sword-Fists to the West List!\"\"

Anborn furiously attacks Dedrick with his Longsword and mildly wounds him!

[Laurion(#20260)]

Moving backward as the Girithlin advances, the Golden Hound escapes the blow. He cries out, \"I did not turn the blow, my Lord! It seems your sword is as errant as our plans for the Flames!\" He lunges forward, then.

Laurion\'s blade flashes downward to hinder his opponent with a wounded leg.

Laurion attacks Thorondur with his Longsword and mildly wounds him!

You head west to the far portion of the lists.

[Hemel(#20880)] A cry of agony rips from Hemel\'s lips as the sword slices through his midsection. He mutters curses for rohan and the sort in his painful cries and on the ground he goes again, just as he was propping himself up. Murmering in his painful haze, he gets to his knees and grabs his sword with both hands. With just about all of his strength, he swings his sword at the rider\'s knees.

Hemel attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword, but Ceirdred parries the attack with her Longsword!

[Ceirdred(#7349)] \'A horse could kick harder\', the Rider had shouted as he first attacked, and indeed this red-haired whirlwind from the Mark could perhaps pass for a wild steed, those blows from the blunted sword hitting like a pair of well-placed hooves. But that is not all, for it parries well too, as Hemel gets to his knees and swings low. Some advantages to being short, after all.

\"Alas, I fear we must finish this soon,\" Ceirdred chuckles then, as the sound of feet approaches, and again he swings at Hemel, now with the flat side of his sword against the Gondorian\'s head.

[Sano(#6181)] Eyes wide a youthful scout rushes in, to happen upon a scene that causes him to raise a cry for help. Recklessly, with little hope of even putting a scratch on the Rider, he comes to bear upon him with his blunted sword to the fore. It is obvious he is too young to yet have the skill to cross blades with the Rohir even so he attacks without heed, more an act to buy the other time than anything else.

In a quick paste Tamran arrives form the central lists, as he heard the shouts of Hemel. Quickly he looks at Ceirdred and with a sure steps walks towards him, shield and sword raised. \"Tried to sneak behind our lines did you not?\" Tamran glances quickly at Hemel, before turning his dark eyes toward the oponent, \"Why not pick on someone more your level...\"

[Hemel(#20880)] The flat side of the sword connects solid with Hemel\'s head and all murmering stops, he falls face first into the ground, sword still in hand though, but immobile. As if in one final act of defiance, Hemel somehow manages to raise his sword high enough and then bring it down in an attempt to break a toe of the rider or two ... All other parts of his body are motionless.

Hemel attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword, but he misses by a mile.

Indilzar marches into the basecamp and sees an enemy. He then shouts, \"Who dares to come here? Get ye gone lest I bruise you... badly.\"

As the young guard comes close enough to the Rohirrim, he swings his sword towards his oponnents shoulder.

You attack Ceirdred with your Longsword...

Your attack against Ceirdred lightly wounds her!

Indilzar charges forward now, and into the foe... he comes closer, his weapon loose in his hands...

[Ceirdred(#7349)] Having dismissed Hemel already, Ceirdred easily evades that deceitful attack upon his toes, and whirls around to face the oncoming attackers. \"I fear not,\" he calls out to the challenge, just moments before the first of his new opponents swings at him, the blade landing heavily upon his shoulder. It doesn\'t stop him for long, however, and he pushes forward to return the attack, swinging against Tamran\'s midsection.

Ceirdred attacks you with her Longsword!...

...and she misses!

Sano attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword, but he misses by a handspan.

Indilzar sees his foe did not heed his warning. He promptly charges his lips curling with the cry of the Bragollach upon his lips. His weapon gleams in his hands, aimed for the enemy\'s shoulder.

Indilzar furiously attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword and lightly wounds her!

Indilzar shouts to Sano, Hemel and Tamran as he engages, \"You three, go to the Neutral Ground and help Laurion, I shall hold the defense!\"

Hemel would obediantly respond to Indilzar\'s command, had he the strength to move. How he still manages to hold his sword is a miracle.

[Ceirdred(#7349)] And just as Ceirdred swings, so does Sano, but that attack at least he manages to narrowly evade. Only, however, to step into the path of Indilzar\'s attack, taking another heavy hit to an already bruised shoulder and letting out a grunt of pain. \"Here\'s one who speaks truly, at least,\" the short Rider responds as he stumbles back, hefting his sword up properly upon his arm once more. \"The one who spoke of attacks like the waves of the sea was sorely mistaken,\" he adds, still a touch winded, and then moves forward with sudden speed, using his lack of size and nimbleness to his advantage as he rushes in and swings low at his much taller foe while holding his shield up still.

Ceirdred attacks Indilzar with her Longsword, but she misses by an arm\'s length.

[Sano(#6181)] Disengaging from the foe Sano turns and runs out on swift feet, immediacy in his movements as he seeks the field in response to the captain\'s order.

Seing the sword of his oponnent swinging towards his midsection, Tamran takes a quick step backwards, easly avoiding the dull blade. While getting ready for another strick upon the Rohirrim, the young soldier stops in mid step, glancing back to the Insilzar. Seing Ceridred missing once more, he nods and walks back toward the Central lists.

Indilzar leaps up on nimble feet and leaps over the weapon. He then aims a counter attack. Yet ere he commences he says, \"I suggest you leave. Now.\" He lets his shining blade sing.

Indilzar attacks Ceirdred with his Longsword and moderately wounds her!

[Anborn(#24151)]

A backwards leap, and Anborn is away from the sweeping blade and the spin, which leaves his foeman open on his side, the Ranger makes to use to full advantage. Gathering himself, with muscles bunched, the Ranger lunges with a thrust at Dedricks\' belly.

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but Dedrick parries the attack with his Short Broadsword!

Gwaiandir grins down at the other boy

[Laurion(#20260)]

A slight smile comes upon the youth\'s lips at the supposed lesson that strikes him to the side. His hand release the tourney blade and shield with its Golden Hounding running rampant on a field of blue. Laurion of Rovacil lies face down upon the field, once more the student of the Girithlin.

Such tutelage will be long remembered, though ruefully.

Sword in hand, Tamran comes running back into the Central Lists. His gaze passes over the field, looking at the combats, searching his next fight.

[Dedrick(#5572)] A flush of anger, red growing from his chest, colors Dedrick\'s face at the sight of his fallen Captain. Closing again on the Ranger, he snarls, an almost inhuman sound, borne of battle lust and rage. Swinging his sword wildly, he presses the attack, aiming again at the already wounded collar.

Dedrick attacks Anborn with his Short Broadsword and moderately wounds him!

Hrethawyr regards Gwaiandir\'s dark hair intently.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

With Laurion defeated, now the Knight-Herald turns more fully upon the savage with whom Anborn fights so stoutly. His face tightens, and Thorondur raises his sword -- coming down against the burly outlander from behind.

Thorondur attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but he misses by an arm\'s length.

Laurion goes Out Of Character.

Gwaiandir grins, \"I know what you mean.\" He pulls up his shrt on one side to reveal a very large, deep bruise on his right side. \"I\'ve no armor either.\"

Hrethawyr inhales sharply and reaches a hand toward the bruise but doesn\'t touch it, \"have a place on a leg and one on an arm that looks very like that. .only older . . was in the single combat twice. .\"

[Anborn(#24151)]

Stricken, Anborn is thrown, and falls to the ground with a sickening crunch with battered arm and buised collar, he crouches clutching at his wounds managing from his cowed position only a token thrust to fend his foeman off.

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but he misses by a hair.

Hrethawyr says, \"that was all before today. .\"

Gwaiandir says, \"Jumped away from it or it would have taken my ribs, too.\"

Hrethawyr says, \"lucky. . you were fast\"

Dedrick ducks, instinct again saving him a crushing blow, but almost leading him straight to the wounded Ranger. Stumbling, he rolls on one shoulder, springing to his feet and rushing at

Thorondur, sword before him, thrusting as he passes.

Dedrick attacks Thorondur with his Short Broadsword, but he misses by a mile.

[Gwaiandir(#16015)] The healer and Gwair carry the boy to the tent since he is now conscious.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"And where did they find you, I wonder,\" Thorondur murmurs, stepping asie the rush of Dedrick as one might a charging bull. \"The Lady Gweneth has a deeper purse than I imagined,\" he says to himself, stepping between Dedrick and Anborn, sword raised, \"to hire sellswords for mock warfare.\"

And now that raised sword comes down, slashing around from behind his head in a brutally beautiful arc.

Thorondur attacks Dedrick with his Longsword and mildly wounds him!

[Anborn(#24151)]

Staggering up managing his feet though he be sorely hurt upon his side, Anborn is quick after Dedrick, whose back lies open for his sword to strike upon, and it is a hefty blow, that should come unnoticed, and much to the aid of the eagles\' captain assailed.

Anborn attacks Dedrick with his Longsword, but Dedrick parries the attack with his shield!

[Ceirdred(#7349)] Making his way from the west, moving with a little less grace and easy than when he went off behind the enemy lines, Ceirdred returns to the central field. Those bright-green eyes of his still hold laughter as they search the field, until they fall upon the captain of his own team and he swiftly makes his way towards him. \"A message from the west,\" he calls out to him as he comes closer, voice just a touch lighter than it ought to be. \"It all went well to begin with, my lord, but now the lord Bragollach bids me to tell you -- my hellcat captain, he calls you -- that he waits for you there.\"

[Thorondur(#23126)]

\"Then let him wait,\" cries the Lord Girithlin, a bright smile springing unbidden to his lips at this news. \"For I am not ruled by the fire of my heart, as he is!\"

Seing one of his team mates fighting two men, Tamran rushes towards him. Raising his sword above his head, he runs shield before him. Arriving close to the Ranger, he swings, bringing his sword down towards Anborn\'s shoulder.

You attack Anborn with your Longsword...

Anborn parries your attack with his Longsword!

Indilzar returns from the West and does a quick assessment. He then surges forward and then... eastward in a raging charge.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

Head whipping about, Thorondur catches the fast flight of Indilzar, and cries out:

[<#23126>] Thorondur +shouts \"BRAGOLLACH! I MARK THEE!\"

[<#10108>] From Eastern Lists , Indilzar +shouts, \"Go to Hell Girithlin!\"

Dedrick winces as his foolish rush takes its toll. Turni9ng, he moves more slowly toward his new foe. Almost absently, and just as foolishly, he swipes at the attacking longsword with his shield, luckily brushing it aside. Stopping scant feet from Thorondur, he smiles.

No mercenary, Lord. I come to these fields to prove myself, even to the Lords who would dismiss me because I\'ve lived in the hills.\" Falling silent now, he brings his sword before him again, feinting an arcing attack before thrusting with his blade at Thorondur\'s midsection.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

And thus does the Lord Girithlin set eastward in full pursuit.

[<#10108>] From Eastern Lists , Indilzar +shouts, \"Muhahahahahaha!\"

[Ceirdred(#7349)] Laughing, Ceirdred moves in closer, and by the way he holds his sword and shield he\'s still ready for a few more rounds. \"Perhaps I should have kept him company then, but I fear he was rather rough on his guests, sending me halfways across the field.\" Indeed, this Rider does have a light voice, but perhaps it is a younger-than-expected face that hides behind the steel-guards of his helmet. \"Perhaps I can do someone here the same service?\" he then finishes, looking about for someone -- and spying one of her previous opponents going west. So there he runs as his captain runs east.

[Anborn(#24151)]

A quick parry, for Tamran came not unheeded upon Anborn the Ranger turns from Dedrick to the lesser man, rather fending him off, that being yet more sure than Dedricks\' fall he leaps, and deals a wicked stroke upon the lad with his icy blade.

Anborn attacks you with his Longsword!...

...and you block his attack with your shield!

[Anborn(#24151)]

But lo! Now doubly assailed, Anborn is undone and northward cries for aid:

Dedrick\'s attack of Lord thorondur misses miserably. Dedrick crouches in a defensive stance, shock showing in his face as the Captain moves to the West List.

[<#24151>] Anborn +shouts \"Aid! Aid! I am outmatched!\"

Obvious is the swing of the ranger and with a quick move, Tamran moves his shield before the incoming blade. The sword hits against the leather shield and at the same instant, Tamran thrusts his sword toward Anborn\'s chest.

You attack Anborn with your Longsword...

Anborn parries your attack with his shield!

[<#6181>] From Western Lists , Sano +shouts, \"We have an attacker! Sword-Fists, I need aid!\"

[Mablung(#20260)]

Laurion\'s head lifts from the turf in time to see the figure of Ceirdred move Westward toward their castle. He turns groggily toward the field and cries, \"Glormegil! Defend! Defend!\"

The once youthful voice is rent and ragged.

[Mablung(#20260)]

Laurion\'s head lifts from the turf in time to see the figure of Ceirdred move Westward toward their castle. He turns groggily toward the field and cries, \"Glormegil! Defend! Defend!\"

The once youthful voice is rent and ragged.

Gwaiandir runs back from the healers having heard Anborn\'s call. He looks around quickly.

[Anborn(#24151)]

A handstroke bears young Tamrans\' sword aside, so meagre was the blow proferred at that, the Ranger stoops over the lad himself far the loftier man an awful stroke flies answering overhand towards his foemans\' head and shoulders...

Anborn attacks you with his Longsword!...

...and he hits! Ouch!

Anborn says, \"What is it today? Does master suddenly suck or something? :)\"

Dedrick looks to the West, uncertainty on his face. Huis Captain now too wounded to continue, he takes it upon himself to move back to the camp to defend it.

Tamran quickly glances to the west as he hears the shouts of his team mates. Distracted, the young guard does not see the enemy sword closing in towards him. The sword strikes true upon the guard\'s shoulder, a grimace appearing upon his face. Quickly though he recovers, swinging back towards the Ranger, aiming for his ribs.

You attack Anborn with your Longsword...

Anborn dodges your attack.

Gwaiandir relaxes again when he realizes the game is still on. He turns and goes back to assist the healers: for this day at least.

[<#6181>] From Western Lists , Sano +shouts, \"Sword-Fists! Any who may give me aid!\"

[Anborn(#24151)]

A step, and Anborn is away young Tamran\'s blade finding nought but air. A bitter laugh cracks his mask-hid lips, then he steps forth to deal the answering stroke: once more, overhand and with the entirety of the strength he has to muster...

Anborn attacks you with his Longsword!...

...and you block his attack with your shield!

[Arnafel(#29017)]

Past the men striving in battle -- all now wounded and wearied -- the Silver Knight strides, his face set to the Eest. And none come forth to contest his path.

Once more the young guard\'s sword finds nothing but air, but his concentration remains and as the Ranger\'s sword whistles throught the air, Tamran\'s shield raises into position, blocking the dull blade once again. Another thrust is issued by the Guard, this time towards Anborn\'s chest.

You attack Anborn with your Longsword...

Anborn dodges your attack.

[Anborn(#24151)]

Another thrust, another step, and nought by that it seems the guardsman cannot touch upon the Ranger, though, too it seems that Anborn cannot harm the guard, his shield seeming impassable. Rather then, setting himself to\'t, the Dunadan ducks to a thrust in like fashion, after Tamrans\' own gut.

Anborn attacks you with his Longsword!...

...and he hits! Ouch!

The blade hits true and hard at Tamrans, knocking him back a few steps and trying to catch his breath. After a few seconds of recovery, he straightens and looks at the ranger, \"Nice hit.\" he says between half a breath. Then with carefull steps, he walks closer to his opponent. With a standard swing, he goes towards the shoulder of Anborn.

You attack Anborn with your Longsword...

Anborn dodges your attack.

[Heledir(#20721)]

Rushing in from the east, a young Gondorian lad bearing the silver pin of the Eagles pinned to his chest crosses the turf, headed towards his teammate.

\"Anborn!\" he calls as he runs.

[Anborn(#24151)]

\"Indeed!\" Exclaims the Ranger, dancing away from the answering blow. \"Come, you are beaten don\'t make me harm you further.\" he sets to circling wary, roundabout Tamran.

\"Greetings, lad!\" he says aside, \"Come hither and quickly there are foes enough for both of us!\" That said, and without warning does Anborn leap to strike upon Tamrans\' breast with his swords\' dulled point.

Anborn attacks you with his Longsword!...

[Heledir(#20721)]

With a dull rasp, silver glinting in the light, Heledir draws his longsword as he runs. He holds it uncertainly - indeed the elegant weapon seems unwieldy in his hand - but with great vigour he leaps to the Ranger\'s side, and joins in his attack.

Heledir attacks you with his Longsword!...

ARB: You\'ve been injured for 7 hp\'s by Heledir\'s attack...

...you have 21 left. Please RP this injury accordingly.

A half stoped scream comes out of his mouth as the dull point hits it\'s target. Before having time to recover another sword strikes him. Quickly he takes a few steps back, breathing hard he musters his strenght and opens his mouth,

You shout \"Sword-Fists to the Center!\"

Tamran stands before the two men, sword half risen and looks at them, his chest pumping hard as he tries to take deep breaths.

You forego your chance to attack.

Indilzar comes heading out of the Eastern lists, a bit bruises, but still very hale and full of battle fury.

[Thorondur(#23126)]

And it is no Sword that comes, nor a Fist -- but an Eagle, chiefest among them! Thorondur Girithlin moves swiftly, circling the edges of the fray, making his way westward.

[<#10108>] Indilzar +shouts \"BRAGOLLACH!\"

Indilzar wields his sword in a flash and the carnal lust of violence is now upon him.

Indilzar charges back to the fray crying to Tamran, \"Who is your foe so I might drive them forth?\"

[Anborn(#24151)]

But rather sooner than Indilzar can come to Tamrans\' aid, Anborn makes to finish off the hapless lad, already stricken as he is and deals a heavy stroke upon the young mans\' chest at a sweep of his sword...
