Where
Minas Tirith

Commander Galdorim commissions Rorgan - est date 2000

This log was done by Rorgan. Thank or complain at him.

The tall greying-blonde former tailor strides into the Commander\'s

office, snaps to attention with a sharp salute, \"Private Rorgan reporting

for duty sir!\"

Looking up from his cluttered desk, Galdorim chuckles

deeply as he looks to his long time friend. \"Private Rorgan\" He

muses loud enough for the former scout to hear. \"Now that has a ring

to it, but not what I brought you here for, my friend.\"

Raising a brow, the one-time tailor offers his friend the

beginnings of a smile, \"I thought the orders said I had been transferred to

your command.\" He shakes his head. \"It was dark and the messenger seemed

urgent.\"

And in the brief pause, Rorgan raises his right hand to the upper part of

his left arm and draws it back away, observing the light coating of blood on

his fingertips. He shakes his head a bit more before saying, \"Of course, I

had to fight my way back to Minas Tirith, as well. That would explain my

delay in arriving. I will make my report on that, as soon as I know for sure

who my commanding officer is to be.\"

\"I will be your direct Commander. That is if you do not

mind my youth. I am going to make you my Lieutenant in charge of the

Silver Ship Company, and transfer Jorelir to the White Tree. Galdorim

says with some mirth as he look to your face with his blue eyes.

\"With the corruption within the guard I need a senior officer I can

trust.\"

\"Lieutenant? Of the Silver Ship? I guess I should say I\'d be

honored, old friend. And, no, I do not mind your youth. But you have to

understand I\'m an old White Tree man myself. The new company will take some

getting used to,\" Rorgan smiles.

\"And as far as that corruption goes, I now have a name to attach to one of

the participants, and should have a prisoner brought to the city soon

enough.\" Rorgan goes on to relate the events of his ride back to Minas

Tirith, save all but the name of the other guard who was implicated by the

fleeing former Silver Guardsman. \"He\'s a member of my company, and I will

deal with him in my own way and in my own time. For now he is more valuable

to us alive. He may not know he has been implicated, and my eyes will be

upon him.\"

Now does Rorgan offer his friend a more gracious smile, but it twists into a

darker representation of itself as he speaks these words, \"This evil among

the guardsmen will be ferreted out, Commander. I will personally throw the

ringleader from the cliffs, if he is found. On this you have the oath of

Rorgan.\"

A large grin comes across the tall Commander\'s face.

\"That is what I wanted to hear, my friend. I need someone to make

sure my orders are sought through and not intercepted. I do not know

who to trust, though I do have a small squad I will introduce you

to.\" He extends a scroll to you. \"Here are you papers. Go to The

barracks, Lieutenant Rorgan and get your uniform. Get your wounds

tended to and report back to me with your report of today\'s incident.\"
