Did you hear about that lone Dwarf who wandered into town the other day and then dropped down in a dead faint as soon as he'd set foot in the place? It's not like one of them to have a fit of the vapours. Right in the middle of the Gate Arch he was, caused quite the blockage to traffic! The Watch sergeant had to get a couple of us lads to lift him onto a stretcher and carry him to the Healers House. Me, I reckoned he'd had a few drinks too many - we all know how those Dwarves love their liquor - but the healers took one look and started fretting and fussing and muttering about blows to the head. Come to think of it, the fellow did look a bit battered (not to mention filthy and in want of a bath!) My cousin's girl is a healer, she said one of the Dwarves from the Embassy showed up and tried to have him moved but our healers were having none of it. You could hear the shouting clear to the Wharf! So at the Healers House the poor creature remains and none of us is any the wiser about who he is or what got him into such a pitiful state. He's come to a few times but they say he just mutters nonsense. Wonder what his tale is? Noone has stepped forward to tell it for him: hmm, come to think of it, isn't it a bit odd for a Dwarf to be travelling alone?
