| Now what is it with them Karath's? Late night meetings and fussing about. I saw lady ORIANA and lord THORALD having a meeting late one night, but Gailwen (played by Oriana) was afoot and I tell ya, that womans heart is harder than steel and colder than cold. She kept watch better than a hawk would of! So the meeting didn't seem long and both parted ways (that was after Gailwen had some heated words for the lord too, that woman sure has a set of balls on her, more than a lot of men sometimes!) Strange to have a meeting at such a late hour, a bit rude of Thorald don't you think to demand one?
But the real curious news, if you've not yet heard it- for Oriana came rushing out of the meeting panicing about it. Is that the house ring has been stolen! Yes, the house ring! The one from the beginning, from the houses making! It's been passed down and kept in the family. But who, -who- would steal that, and why?! They would have to be brave in order to go under their nose to get it. What sort of enemies does the house have.. makes one wonder when it will be found, if it will be, and who did it. And will someone else be next..

| Vender A:"Hoo-boy about time!."
Vendor B: "What in the world are you talking about now ya ole bat?" Vendor:A The News spread from the market square... three members of house Karath show up including the Steward herself, Thorald the city watch, and Gerik of the Kings Men. They seem to be looking through the stalls or well two of them did the other seemed all a miss nearly stumbling and tripping over some goods and knocking into venders. From what the shop keepers are saying he found his way over to Lady Oriana and bold as anything kissed her, well that Lady Karath she's tough as nails she shoved him near clear into another stall. Well if that wouldn't have just took the cake right then if after the other Lord Gerik rushed over fire in his eyes as they say, but that man the city watch well he scampered off alright . Vendor B "Oi than what happened?" Vendor:A "Well that house Steward she was fuming she told us to get back to work, and said something to that Corporal.. and well he followed her away like a puppy on a leash he did. Vendor A: Worst part.. I didn't sell any apples rotten luck that (What indeed is with those Karath's more to come))

| Lady ORIANA had a visit from BREV recently, seemingly something to do with carpentry. Not too sure of the details, myself, but the next day he was in her office hammering and sawing and making a great racket. Furniture repairs, he claimed.
Why, one wonders, would the furniture need repaired? You don't think Lady Oriana's been throwing heavy objects around? She /has/ been sporting a nice set of bruises lately, and we all know she has quite the temper sometimes. Maybe she vented it on a cabinet or two!

| Well, it's not uncommon to see the lady ORIANA at the training yard, as she trains recruits. And it's not uncommon to see lord GERIK there either. And as of late, he has requested training from her. Now, it was going along normal - or so I saw from a distance, until the lady Steward decided to throw a punch. Well, I'll tell you her aid sure is getting quicker! Maybe.. to quick? Now, I didn't see it but I sure did -hear- it. A loud, crowed stopping crack! Turning about as quick as I could I saw Oriana holding her wrist and looking mighty pained. Gerik then promptly helped her out of the yard to the healers last I saw.
Now if you want in, bets are being taken in on whether or not it's broken. If you ask, I'll put my money on broken.
