Heidrel ascribes to the most common conventions of Hobbit folk, if perhaps being a bit on the short side, even for one of his origins. His hair is dark brown and curly, yet, despite his best efforts to the contrary, seems to defy gravity in its tendency to grow upwards into a great, fluffy mass of misdirected curls, on top of which is perched a large floppy hat that appears rather elderly and, as such, is bereft of any great spatial definition. His skin has an uncharacteristically pallid tone to it, a fact which is usually hidden by his long-sleeved cotton shirt and dark brown vest, both which show considerable signs of wear and tear, and a pair of nondescript trousers. His gait is marked by a somewhat slumped set to his shoulders, as if bearing a not inconsiderable burden. Although his features follow a distinctly rounded theme, they are offset by a sharply pointed nose, which adds a confusing and jumbled set to his face, as if cobbled together poorly from a lucky-dip assortment of spare parts.
