What is a wiki?

A wiki is basically an encyclopedia, with the subject material being whatever you would like it to be. In this case, Elendor! Anyone can make changes, add pages, and build upon it. Since everyone is helping to work on it, most wiki's become self-governing by the supporting population.

On a wiki, a page can always be:

• Reverted back to a previous case (in the instance of a mistake being made or spam)
• Updated by anyone (very helpful if people become inactive unexpectedly)
• Tracked through it's history (you can see who made what changes and when)

Quick Tips

• Square braces [[The One Ring]] will create links to other articles on the wiki.
• When publishing an article, the wiki doesn't recognize a single "Enter" stroke. Either hit enter twice to create a new paragraph or use <br> to break the line.
• You can title sections using the equals sign = two equals sign on either end (==Text Here==) make a section seperated by a line. Another on either side ===Text Here=== makes sub-section. Using these can help to organize your article and make specific parts quick to reference.
