Her eyes are an electrifying shade of cyan that draw one in and commands their attention. She has a small nose and a dainty mouth. Despite her strength, she is tall and slender. She is adorned in a long flowing garment consisting of silver under gown with a sapphire bodice and waist cincher embroidered with silver which highlight a grid pattern. Rows of embroidery and scrolling vines follow the neckline. The blues and silvers the shade of the House of Arathmor to which she descends from. She wears dainty flats made of fine silk on her feet barely glimpsed as she moves like a phantom among the streets. Around her neck rests a small necklace pendant, a gift from her father. Upon her right hand she wears a small ring bearing the symbol of the House of Arathmor, a silver swan seated over a sword on a field of blue. On her head rests an exquisite silver circlet worthy of the wealth in which she is accustomed to.

History:

Little is known about Kanyaria’s life before Archon adopted her. He found the child roaming the docks with a dagger as her only form of protection and no idea where, or who, her real parents were.

Growing up the daughter of Archon Leor, she spent her childhood playing among the crates and goods being brought into Lake-Town. She spent many hours on the docks of the boats gazing at the goods being brought in and talking with the workers, listening to stories of far-off lands. Her eyes sparkled when the crates would reveal fine fabrics and exotic items. She would sneak into her father’s storehouses and play among the material, pretending to be one of the wealthy ladies of the houses who were accustomed to many luxuries of life. As she grew older, she caught the eye of one such nobleman of the house of Arathmor, Edwyn. Despite being the daughter of one of the shipyard owners, she knew the people well and gave the family an edge in their political involvement among the Lake-Towns.

Kanyaria and the young man were married and Kanyaria was taken into the noble house. She continued to work hard and became involved not only with her father’s business, but as well as the business conducted inside the House of Arathmor. She quickly gained esteem as a shipping consultant among the Mariner’s Guild and many wondered if the connection with her father helped her along on that path. Nonetheless, she does well for herself in the political circle having come from simple means giving her a slight advantage over other more crudely advantageous constitutes, some of which reside in her own house. She had many opportunities within the House but not everything she was faced with was she given a choice in the matter. For this reason, she has earned her own level of respect but at great cost.

Due to these cost, Kanyaria found it necessary to secure her place in the Arathmor House. The commoner weighed her options and determined that the only way to successfully do this would be to give her husband a son, an heir to Arathmor. Thus, in the winter of 3054, Kanyaria bore a son named Elaradwyn.
