Hi and welcome to Bree! We hope you enjoy it here, and if you haven't yet, make a character on the Mush.
The most important thing to remember as a new player, is that we're all here to RP. :) So here's how to get started.
First of all, you need a description. Check out the Newcomers page here, or type +BREEINFO DESC if you are on the Mu*. After you've got a description set; you will want to start working on a history. You don't need your history all figured out before you start RPing though - and feel free to add to it as you go along. Much of the fun is figuring out things about your character through RPing him or her.
As a member of Bree, you should read and remember the following files. The first ones are MUSH-wide and contain information about policy, RP, and a few basic commands.

+BREEINFO THEME lets you know what you need to know about living as a character in Bree.
+BREEINFO COMMANDS explains a few Bree-specific commands that will be helpful.
Additionally, typing +HELP while playing will give you a list of the MUSH helpfiles.
